Favorite TROPES: Revenge

IDC what people say about the FL... I will forever be a fan of this revenge drama! :D

If you loved "Secret" do try "Meryem", a Turkish drama. It's basically the same story and so very well done. :)

legit a classic. still... it was hard to watch at times. the acting is so raw and emotional in this one. 

revenge has never been sexier.... This drama (like most Lakorns) has its flaws, but I can't seem to like it any less. The FL is awesome here and the ML KILLS me with his smirk *slayed*

Love/Hate relationship with this drama. I hate it and love it equally. I actually understand the ML better than the FL here. Her "reason" putting up with him was supposed to be the backbone of the drama and it... just felt insincere and flat instead. Made no f*n sense. Makes it hard to sympathize with a FL who willingly puts herself in a horrendous situation. :/ 

super hard to watch this one and this one I felt like the ML was wayyy too over the top to be forgiven. This guy (IRL) never would have changed.

This one will ALWAYS be a fav Lakorn + a fav revenge drama. 

this one was a very very pleasant surprise.

Not a favorite, but not bad. I don't think I loved the FL and that was the problem for me. 

watched this one to compare to the 2019 version, but imho the 2019 version is way superior than this version. The ML is not a great actor here. The acting in general is much more exaggerated as well. I think the worse thing about the older version is that the ML didn't BEGIN with a game plan, wasn't as cold-blooded and methodical as the ML in 2019. That made a HUGE difference for me as to why I prefer the 2019 version. Much better revenge plot. 

#surprised I had this on my not interested list forever due to other comments/reviews but decided to try it anyway out of boredom. Actually REALLY glad I did. I feel like it would have been better at 12 episodes, but I was never bored, so there's that. CRAZY Lakorn but I truly enjoyed it.

this one I was sooooo hoping would be better. It's okay but had major major issues with pacing and surprising lack of plot. Also the melo is heavy in the melodrama with severely overacting villains. 

one of the better daily (100+ episodes) revenge dramas for sure. 

probably one of the best "daily" style revenge dramas I've ever seen! LOVED. 

oddly enough, this is one of the much more subtle of revenge dramas I've watched. Big age game with FL older and short with only 4 episodes. I don't watch/enjoy a ton of J-Dramas, but when I do, they are usually darker and more thought-provoking like this one. 

really rather enjoyed this one. Female bent on revenge and I loved that part of it!
