1. Romantic Doctor, Teacher Kim 2
Korean Drama - 2020, 16 episodes
Honestly, I thought I wouldn't like this drama since I normally don't like sequels but DAMNN!! This drama is sooo good. It's honestly better than the first one. I enjoyed the first one but felt like it wasn't satisfying, like something was missing. This drama was perfect, really. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!

2. Voice
Korean Drama - 2017, 16 episodes
Thriller/police dramas are getting very popular in the korean drama world with many different dramas of the same genre however this one has got to be one of the best ones i've encountered. It was claimed that the drama had gruesome scenes and a lot of blood. Everything is censored (actually, too much censoring going on to be honest). It addressed interesting issues like child abuse, rape ect and were generally on the humanistic side of society, definitely struck a chord with me.
Really different than the other police dramas as it's really dark and i prefer this type of setting. Some dramas have romance & somehow the romance part is bigger than the police or investigation part which I honestly don't really enjoy. This is definitely a fresh concept which I enjoy a lot! Highly recommended.

3. My Father is Strange
Korean Drama - 2017, 52 episodes
If we talk about this drama the first thing that comes to mind that it is a family drama. So many people will judge it only by that. What they will miss at first glance is this most amazing story told by this amazing group of actors.
It is beautifully written and produced. It gives really good feelings for the heart to experience.
The story is different. It isn't the typical family drama we see. It has a unique story line to it. And from the very first episode it has you hooked, lined and your done. It's funny, it's relatable, it's super sweet and romantic (ah my heart). When I watched this I kept on thinking this is how families should be, siblings should be and relations. This drama shows how much the little things means when your with the people you love. It doesn't only resolved around the family but the people around it. We see this different age of people from the grandmom to Min Ha (high schooler) and couples, parents, siblings, in-law's with their struggles and how they over comes it. It's a story that's written for everyone to enjoy. And the ending was so beautiful!
It's an amazing drama. Don't let the "52 episodes and family drama" stop you. Because at the end of it you will wish it had 100 or more episodes. Because at this moment I do and I know you will too.. So please give this a try! -
4. Further Investigation
Korean Drama - 2020, 12 episodes
I watched this drama on a wimp. I was bored and thought let's just watch since I'm bored. Thought it was gonna be those 'nice drama, next' but i was wrong! This drama is good!! I normally don't really like investigation dramas bc they tend to be repetitive and somehow seems boring. This drama is funny, like very funny. Love all the characters and it's soo good. 12 Episodes is honestly the perfect number of episode. Not too much but not too little. Recommended!

5. Good Doctor
Korean Drama - 2013, 20 episodes
I love medical dramas & i especially love realistic medical dramas. This drama really hit me hard as there is more than just the medical element. It shows the struggles of an autistic savant wanting to be a surgeon and the different challenges he faced.
Love the actors & the chemistry between them. Joo won played the autistic role really well. Highly recommended.

6. The Bridal Mask
Korean Drama - 2012, 28 episodes
Gaksital is what happens when you put together an amazing storyline with complex characters, excellent actors, epic cliffhangers, and breathtaking music.
At that time, I knew this drama was going to be phenomenal, and I was right. I started watching it as soon as it aired, and I never looked back. Gaksital made every single week of its run memorable for me. I don’t think I could ever forget the mental and emotional memories this drama has given me. It gave me so many feelings that I don’t think I know which is which anymore.
Action-packed and beautifully written, Gaksital is a once in a lifetime drama that would surely strike one’s heart.

7. That Winter, The Wind Blows
Korean Drama - 2013, 16 episodes
The chemistry between the main couple is pretty intense. Oh Soo and Oh Young both play their roles well as 'broken' people in very different worlds that are equally scary. The secondary couple is just very cute. The bromance/brotherhood between Oh Soo and Jin Sung is really sweet, though I ended up getting mad at/scared for Jin Sung through a couple of his misguided choices due to 'extreme loyalty.'
I just thought the story was beautifully acted and filmed. I was on my toes for the whole thing, and could not stop watching it until it was all over. It really got me out of my drama slump! -
8. Kill Me, Heal Me
Korean Drama - 2015, 20 episodes
At a first glance, this show may seem like a mess. When I began watching this show I had VERY low expectations because of the description -- rich chaebol with memory lapses and 7 different personalities falling in love with a docto......... it sounded like a recipe for disaster.
But, don't worry because the writing and production team turned KMHM into a masterpiece with the help of main actor Ji Sung. ALSO, the title Kill Me, Heal Me is beautifully illustrated in the show--I cried tears of happiness when I saw the meaning.
Not only is the show itself well-written, it is CONSISTENTLY GOOD. Where many other dramas slowly fall apart half-way through the series, this show managed to keep delivering quality episodes from start to finish. the actors also flesh out their characters and fill the show with meaningful symbolism. -
9. Secret
Korean Drama - 2013, 16 episodes
One of the best melodrama I've ever seen and also one of the best dramas period. I pretty much finished in 2 days and didnt even skip a second of it. Everything about this drama is perfect, from the cast to the acting, to the story, the romance and the chemistry between the leads were incredible Hwang jung eum's acting was on a different level. I actually cried every time she cried. (lots of crying in this one) That was how convincing she was. Ji sung was amazing too but I feel like his talent is showing more on KMHM. In the end of it all, this drama broke me into little tiny pieces but I will never regret watching it and re-watching it over and over again.

10. She Was Pretty
Korean Drama - 2015, 16 episodes
2015 definitely had some great quality dramas filled with buzz and fervor such as Kill Me, Heal Me, Healer, and I Remember You. Even though the three dramas mentioned contains comedy, its underlying plot is heavy and convoluted. Sometimes, we just want a simple, straightforward plot that are guaranteed with comedic chops and hijinks. To me, She Was Pretty is the perfect example for that. It is indeed light, funny, and often times crazy, but there is definitely heart in the drama that tugs our own.
Personally, I've developed a connection with Hye-jin, for many particular reasons. Her character is an embodiment of the majority of women. At some point, she is relatable - and worth rooting for. Even with its flaws, SWP tugged at my heartstrings. I enjoyed it while it lasted, cried during moments of insecurity, and laughed when absurdity comes in full fold. Indeed, the story fizzled out after episode 12 (if I remember correctly), having not enough plot points to delve into for four more episodes. Siwon's ddeol-kija (crazy reporter Shin-hyuk), Hwang Jung-eum's Jackson / Kim Hye-jin and Park Seo-joon's Ji Sung-joon will definitely light up a cloudy day. -
11. Mask
Korean Drama - 2015, 20 episodes
Ok, this is one of my favorite dramas of 2015. I read some of the reviews before writing this and I was like... really? This drama gave me a ton of feels and kept me looking forward to the next episode each week. Compared to the other airing drama that I was watching with this which is still stuck on ep 3 (sorry High Society), this one, I was supposed to watch with my friend but I could never wait for her so we ended up watching this separately.

12. The Innocent Man
Korean Drama - 2012, 20 episodes
I don’t know where to start to express my feelings toward this drama, if you’re watching it from the beginning till the end and you will know and understand how I feel. Its huge big feeling like you want to scream it to the world “OMG this is DAEBAK! You need to watch it”. THIS IS MUST WATCH DRAMA OF THE YEAR.
Overall: Innocent Man or Nice Guy or Chakan Namja is not an ordinary drama you see nowadays, because the leading characters both are smart, not easily fooled around and they both are having strong personality, you will love them no matter how intense and cruel situations they were in. From the very beginning, this drama is having a very good pacing, never felt bored or trying to skip it because each scene is too precious to skip it. For a moment I wonder, do we need to sacrifice that much for someone we love? Until 19th episode, storylines explained it why this story was made and executed this way. If really such an innocent nice guy really happens to exist in this real world??? -
13. Go Back Couple
Korean Drama - 2017, 12 episodes
Absolutely love this drama. I never really cry when watching dramas but this drama made me cry buckets. I love everything about it!
It captures almost every most important aspect of a family. There are tons of debate regarding who's wrong between Ban Do that tries his best but somehow neglected his wife, or Jin Joo that kept complaining without seeing her husband's effort. In the end.... both can be solved with a communications.
To be honest, for me, 12 episodes were enough. I'm happy that the writers didn't drag this drama too much, yet let everyone has their moment. I highly recommend this drama!
