Drama That Fell Short of Their Potential
They started off great, but....they ended up short of what they could have been : the most awesome ever watched
-
1. Hyde, Jekyll, Me
Korean Drama - 2015, 20 episodes
Most likely I didn't like this one because it was running near the same time as 'Kill Me, Heal Me' which is a masterpiece in comparison.
The main actress I thought could not act to save her life! But the weirdest thing is that she was ok in the movie 'The Fatal Encounter', so I guess she did not like the script (it was written just before an episode aired) or the director could not get her to act :/
Never finished it, and I don't regret it. Don't waste your time on this one! Watch Kill Me, Heal Me instead and thank me later :)

2. Legend of Nine Tails Fox
Chinese Drama - 2016, 37 episodes
Where do I even start with this one? Oh man, it could have been such a great drama. I never could finish it (I have tried a dozen times...) and I don't understand the purpose of the drama (well I do, but meh, so blah as a drama). What a waste of my time! Dropped!

3. Untouchable Lovers
Chinese Drama - 2018, 54 episodes
Interesting story which starts like a reverse Harem! What a refreshing concept in a drama! The leads have great chemistry too :)
Update: it started off so well but then it became the story of new characters and secondary characters had 85% of the scenes. And they changed the whole story afterwards (I think it was because of copy-write of another drama which you will recognize right away because that one was soooooo good in comparison) -
4. Tribes and Empires: Storm of Prophecy
Chinese Drama - 2017, 75 episodes
Boy oh boy. The trailer and the plot seemed fantastic. But there were so many fillers episodes! Ugh. Could have been much, much better. And the ending was soooooo disappointing because some of the characters had not grown, some were still as useless as day 1, like what the???!!! Why did watch it all? Just for one character to be quite honest. BUT, I'm still gonna watch the sequel because I need some closure for so many of the characters, just ugh. Hopefully, it will be a better ride than this one.

5. Sound of the Desert
Chinese Drama - 2014, 35 episodes
Plot started off well and then became very so-so :/
-
6. The Flame's Daughter
Chinese Drama - 2018, 52 episodes
Honestly, the main characters did not have chemistry between them because Dilraba has too much chemistry with Vin. Also, the story/plot were sub-par.
-
7. Arang and the Magistrate
Korean Drama - 2012, 20 episodes
The best episodes were the first 2. After that, it dropped off so much, OMG! You can see some sparks of greatness but it never fully gets there which is a shame because of course the main leads are visually so appealing.
-
8. Princess Agents
Chinese Drama - 2017, 67 episodes
This one starts off great, then it drops in terms of plot, and then it picks again but not for the main characters which are meh at this point but the supporting cast has some of the greatest scenes I have ever seen (episodes 24 (Yan Xun's mother) & 41 (the princess)). The main lead has also some great character growth at the end of the drama :)
This drama was so highly touted that even though I gave it a high rating of 8, I feel that it could have been a 9.5 if the main characters were more interesting, especially the main lead actress.... Overall, a very good drama :)

9. The Love Knot: His Excellency’s First Love
Chinese Drama - 2018, 25 episodes
It had so much potential to be even better! Oh, well, I still enjoyed it somewhat.
-
10. My Vampire Boyfriend
Chinese Drama - 2016, 12 episodes
If you've watched the anime you will be mightily disappointed.
-
11. Shark
Korean Drama - 2013, 20 episodes
It had so much potential. Chemistry between the leads was sometimes great and other times it was like they were acting like they were not in the same frame or drama :/
-
12. Master Devil Do Not Kiss Me
Chinese Drama - 2017, 23 episodes
-
13. Listening Snow Tower
Chinese Drama - 2019, 56 episodes
-
14. Ok Keub Hak Ab Ruk Khun Samee
Thai Drama - 2020, 15 episodes
-
15. Legend of Fu Yao
Chinese Drama - 2018, 66 episodes
