1. The Virtuous Queen of Han
Chinese Drama - 2014, 47 episodes
Virtuous (Seriously!), Noble, Calm Temperament
I watched this drama a couple of years after it came out. It was one of the first historical dramas I ever watched, and I loved it. I liked Zi Fu's character. Very noble with a calm temperament. While it was sometimes frustrating to watch her rely so much on the Emperor, she was an interesting character to me. I definitely would not describe her as weak, though.

2. Six Flying Dragons
Korean Drama - 2015, 50 episodes
Calm, Elegant, Politically Savvy
I skimmed through it to watch Gong Seung Yeon's character. She plays Min Da-Gyeong, who is a daughter to Min-je, family head of the prestigious Haedong Gapjok clan. She later becomes Queen Won-Gyeong as wife to Taejong Yi Bang-won (Yoo Ah-in). Actual historical figure- described as intelligent, calm, and politically savvy. Fascinating character IMO. She had some good lines- like where she told her new husband she wouldn't sleep with him until she knew her family was secure.
