✦ I enjoyed this just as much as I thought I would. I liked that this drama was shorter and more focused on a strong female perspective. She wants something more for herself beyond the typical path laid for her by Joseon customs.

✦ "We should be the ones who understand each other the most.... This world is ugly for labeling us based on our appearances. But we should not be ugly like that."
OVERALL, I really really enjoyed this adaptation! I thought it was really well done and I truly enjoyed watching this story again from another country's take on it (ෆ˙ᵕ˙ෆ)♡

✘ EP 1 – this story started interesting, but its just not working for me right now

✦ “Let me tell you one thing. Mars is not your friend, nor a hero.”
It's a teen angst / fight-the-system / mystery dorama. I liked the themes of friendship, change, and looks-can-be-deceiving. Overall, I wish school dramas would stop with the trope that "all adults are evil"

✘  EP 8 – I really liked this drama, butI have a bad habit of dropping a drama as soon as the main couple gets together.

✘  EP 4 – It is cute, and I could be interested in more, but it is a bit too silly. 

✦ SEPTEMBER 10TH

✦ A pretty sweet, solid story. It has a simple sense of love that take place in 1996.  In the end, there's a feeling left with the audience where we know the couple will be ok.
Basically, the couple just keeps going back and forth on trains, just missing each other on the Mid-Autumn Festival. Eventually the have a small break and reach each other in the end, very breifly before they have to go back to work in their separate towns.

✦ the title is aptly named as this is such a sweet drama ♡ Super sweet! Nagatsuma Reo's character (Kaji Yusuke) said some really romantic things

✦ I actually love how short this drama is and the acting is quite good. There is still plenty of chemisty and funny moments. I almost wish it was longer, but its good for what it is.  By the end there were a lot of plot holes, but nothing that bothered me too much. I am basically just rating this on how funny it was and how cute the MC was.

✦ SEPTEMBER 16TH

✦ the silliest, fluffiest drama this year!  All the classic, cliche tropes but it's done in pretty original way with a reformed ex-con and a children's content creator. 

✘  EP 6 – Its just ok. Its definitely watchable... its just everything about it is average. The story is average, chemistry is average, and production is average. He's deaf and can only hear the music she plays. 

✦ OCTOBER 5TH

✦ A total scam AND complete manipulaton! The kind of mystery that feels a little like an Agatha Cristie novel. 6 people need to figure out their connection to one man and his possible death.  AH! What a TWIST!! (end of ep6) THEY ALL LIED! Yes Fei Kei also swindled them of there money, but they were all not without fault themselves.
• Overall, in they end they make me think this was based on a true story in the end. Three of them got a prison sentence, while the rest went back to their lives.
• I loved her final monologue:  "But Li Zerui, life isn't a race. Life has no gold medals."

✦ I love when the FL is asked to be the bodyguard, but.. 1,500 years is a long time. I don't know that I understood the relationship much..  

• EP 11 [14] – I got a spoiler that says they don't end up together in the end so I just skipped to the last ep. Honeslty, it wasn't that bad. In senerios like this it does make sense that they don't end up together.
