i’d describe wu shiyi as a bit of a jerk & troublemaker, but incredibly loyal & caring. he was so sweet. wrc absolutely stole the show w/ this one, he fit the role so well. he made my heart melt & feel so hurt at the unreciprocated love he was experiencing. i didn’t like his character in the beginning, but was i ever wrong!! i ended up loving him sm. v v memorable & stellar job, i could watch it a thousand times over.

his character is an outsider & tough guy in yushang academy, but u see his development as he builds friendships, cares for his best buds & helps them whenever they’re in danger. he is trying to find out info on how his brother died, & get to the bottom of who is behind it, so he is often in a black outfit as a spy. wrc also suited this quite well! i actually wish i could have seen him as the main ml bc song weilong can’t act to save his life, but maybe that’s greedy of me to wish wrc to be the ml here, hehe.

an innocent type of character who is a human(?). there is not much to miss w this one, tho he had an excellent display of emotion when the fl died(?). i do wish to see wrc in more historical dramas where he can play a good natured character like this, it was refreshing that he wasn’t an overly-confident guy in this movie.

this drama was actually so horrible, pls never again. he plays as a rich & cocky guy here who doesn’t want to do work at his dad’s company. the character was sort of immature, so i didn’t care much for it & overall the series was v terrible so i don’t look back on this one w/ much to praise. there was maybe 5 or so funny moments in here, & it verified that wrc can pull off comedic scenes v well! i wish there was more, cuz, bon sang, was it ever BORING!
