1. Hatsukoi
Japanese Drama - 2022, 9 episodes
leave this site, go to netflix, and watch this show. like i'm telling you ... RIGHT NOW.
just the first few seconds i was shockingly captivated by the beautiful cinematography. it was way different than any jdramas i have watched. the plot, the pacing, the characters? i love them all so much. it was funny but heart-wrenching in the best way possible. i just want the episodes to go on forever.
throughout the show all i could feel was warmth, warmth, warmth.

2. Silent
Japanese Drama - 2022, 11 episodes
oh god, where should i start?
i really wasn't expecting myself to cry on the very first episode, but i did. i so did. like the title, their love is silent, the kind of love that's quiet but so piercingly loud, everyone around them (the viewers included) could feel it like a boom to the heart.
i'm a sucker for second chance romance. seeing them fall in love with each other all over again was just so ... ughhh. they love each other in such a selfless way. ready to tear a limb apart if it meant they wouldn't hurt the other person. i'm so glad they communicated well.
