A very emotional and heavy film. When just the synopsis provided on MyDramaList, I thought that it was going to be a fun film. Beware: this is not the case. I was utterly shocked when it was revealed, why she became a murderer and then the aftermath in prison. Hong Ye Ji is a fantastic actress. Such a difficult role. There were a few things that annoyed me but it wasn't really anything impactful as it is related to characters and how they acted regarding the aftermath. But that's life. I can certainly recommend this film, though I have to warn you. If you want to get a trigger warning, go to the film's page and look through the comments. It is heavy. Be prepared to be emotional and kind of being left with heartache. It is not a sad ending though. The process of the film, Yoon Young's life, leaves you heartbroken. 

One downside: I do not understand the ending. I have my theory (dream) but some say that it is the future... Well, it is open to interpretation.

I was not a fan, tbh. The acting was good, which is why I gave this a 5.5/10. Nonetheless, the story was terrible. The ending was unnecessary, the characters quite annoying and I felt like I wasted 2 hours of my life. I cannot recommend this. I already knew the plot and ending as well, so I wasn't even surprised but watched it with a friend who didn't know the ending. She didn't find it good either. Because there were plenty of things that didn't make sense.

It's deffo a funny film. Recommendable if you're looking for comedy and nothing serious. I am usually not a huge fan of comedy but I enjoyed that one. Though, it's not like it's a must-watch. I reckon this one would have worked well as a series as well. I rate this a 7.5/10.

Such a funny action/sci-fi film! I have to admit that it took me a minute to get into the film but then I thoroughly enjoyed it! The actors did a great job and I am certainly looking forward to the sequel. Yi An is such a funny character and Tae Ri, Woo Bin and Jun Yeol did fantastically! The time travel was also done brilliantly. I can deffo recommend this film to sci-fi fans who also love some good action.

Despite the mystery and "plot twist" I think that the film is quite boring. I watched it while doing something else and still had to skip bits. I would certainly not recommend the film. There are deffo better ones out there, with better thrills, better mystery and better plot twists. I don't even want to waste to many words on this film.

This film is not bad. I enjoyed watching it and kept guessing about what was happening next. At times the film was predictable but still enjoyable to watch. I actually forgot to rate this film after watching it and while I remember the scenes and the plot, I partially forgot what I was feeling while watching the film. I remember that I found the ending quite satisfying. I guess I'd rate this an 8/10, because I appreciated the actors and the story. It's recommendable to watch, even if you might guess the plot.

Well, I survived watching this film but I really did not like it. Even Hyun Bin and Daniel Henney were not able to save the film. Yoon Ah's character Min Young was bloody annoying! I felt like it got worse in the sequel, which I thought was impossible. Well, I'd say that you should stay away from this film except if you absolutely loved the prequel and every aspect connected to this film. The prequel was deffo better than the sequel.

I reckon I would have given this a higher rating if it wasn't so disappointing on all levels related to logic and reality.

My Response: "adding to your point, there are also legal and political aspects that don't make sense. Starting with the Chicago Convention and international relations. They literally went to the worst scenario that would breach several international laws, go against ethical notions and protocols. They completely ignored the concept of isolation and controlled landing. The only situation where lethal force would be justifiable is when the crew and/or passengers on the plane intended to release the virus within the population, which is not given. Human rights would also be an issue. This film pissed me off on so many levels."
If you want to enjoy this film, you have to ignore international law, politicis, domestic law, civil aviation, aviation generally, physics, ethics and everything. The first minutes of this film were alright, until the theme of this film started. Films and series with corruption usually piss me off because they can be realistic. This film pisses me off as it ignores everything, reality, logic and rules. Technically, this film should be marked as a fantasy film. Maybe prior to 1944 and, then, 1983, this film could have been somewhat realistic, but, please, are we really going to ignore all advancements and reality to call this a thriller? It should be a fantasy thriller or be called "The Unfounded Nightmare of a Passenger". This only gets 3/10 from me. Pure disappointment from my side.

This film is not bad. The action is really good, the car chasing is really good and Park So Dam is as good as always. She is a good actress. However, while the action was good, the film was a bit of a letdown on other aspects. The villains were not only stupid but they also didn't make any sense. The brutality and lack of remorse for committing such violence and murder against people, including children, would require a psychopath. None of them was bothered by the actions. You cannot even excuse such behaviour by greed. Even greed has its boundaries, except when coupled with psychopathy or sociopathy.  And so many psycho- or sociopaths in one workplace? Doesn't make any sense. They also all completely forgot how to use their work to commit crimes. So much money but no intelligence? Doesn't make any sense. The ending? VERY stereotypical. The film's concept itself is not bad, but they had to overdo it. The light of the film? The NIS wasn't corrupt! YAY. There are certainly better films out there but it is still a fun action flick. So, don't shy away and watch it if you want an action film. It is alright. 7.5/10, despite my harsh words. It is enjoyable to watch.

Ah, I love some good Ma Dong Seok action! This film is just as good as its prequel! Deffo give this one a watch if you liked the prequel. Also, every action lover should also watch this one! Son Suk Ku is fantastic as always. All in all, a very strong action film that should be on your watchlist. A well-deserved 8.5/10.

Yaksha: Ruthless Operations is a really good action/thriller! I love that they leave the ending open for a sequel while still giving this film an ending. I got annoyed by Ji Hoon aka Nike initially but I really grew to like him. He learned that justice is not always just and that, sometimes the ones supposed to be actors of law are not acting accordingly. A very important lesson. Anyways, go watch this film and enjoy it!
