1. Goblin
Korean Drama - 2016, 16 episodes
Do I need to say more?
슬픈 사랑 (sad love).
It’s sad, tragic, and heartbreaking, but I love crying, so this is the perfect blend of comedy, romance, and melodrama TT
Kim Shin, a poor guy. Gong Yoo’s narration adds so much to the sadness of this drama. Every line feels like poetry TT
And when "I Will Go to You Like the First Snow" by Ailee starts playing in the background, you know you’re in for an emotional rollercoaster.

2. See You In My 19th Life
Korean Drama - 2023, 12 episodes
I've never come across a romance K-drama as heartbreaking as Goblin, but this one really got me. I found myself crying in every episode over each of Ban Jieum's past lives. Shin Hyesun completely embodied Ban Jieum—she's amazing at comedy, an excellent crier, and her smile is so lovely. I fell in love with the warmth she brought to Jieum’s character, especially in the way she gently touched their faces, patted their heads, and hugged them. Words can't even describe how much Jieum gives me this tingling feeling inside. She’s truly become one of my comfort characters. I wish I could be hugged by her TT
Ahn Bohyun also did an incredible job portraying Mun Seoha, a wealthy man with a tragic childhood. I love how he captured that lingering sense of a child still yearning for his mother and for his first love, who left him. While he might seem like a weak character, inside and out, he's a resilient kid who grew into a strong man. The way he naively loves Jungwon and cries for her is heart-wrenching. I’ll never forget when he said he still remembers Jungwon’s body growing colder and colder. It was so raw, and it made me truly feel the pain of a small Seoha. What also brought me to an ugly cry was Aegyeong—Jieum’s niece from her past life. When Jieum first came to find Aegyeong, she knew without a doubt that Aegyeong would take her in, no questions asked. Their relationship as uncle and niece was portrayed so well. It’s just... heartbreaking.
One of the saddest scenes for me was when Jieum stood in front of Jungwon’s house and hugged her mom, but in reality, she was all alone. tlqkf that moment hit me right in the heart TT

3. The Wind Blows
Korean Drama - 2019, 16 episodes
The drama left me feeling hollow, forcing me to rethink every cherished moment I've spent with my loved one.
I cried so much I thought my eyes would run dry. The two characters love each other deeply, but time either binds you closer or tears you apart, and in this story, both happen.
I wept for Dong-hun and his lost memories.
I wept for Soojin and the memories she clings to.
One will forget everything, while the other will remember it all.
The side characters were remarkable too. Hangseo truly amazed me; he's the epitome of a good friend, offering unwavering support amidst the chaos. His presence added a layer of warmth and authenticity to the story that I'll never forget.
