1. The Romance of Tiger and Rose
Chinese Drama - 2020, 24 episodes
My personal favorite cdrama <3 It's a comedy isekai about this scriptwriter who gets transported into her own drama as this side character who gets killed by the male lead. The male lead actually falls for her really fast and it's funny bc he's such a COMPLETE SIMP like,,, boy is down bad
On the non-romance side, it's a really good satire on cdramas (/asian dramas in general) and anyone who's familiar with asian romance tropes will get it 100% lol

2. Go Ahead
Chinese Drama - 2020, 46 episodes
Ok I haven't watched this one either but if you watch it I will start it with you <3
This drama is the highest rated cdrama in the cdrama community. It's a really personal and emotional story about three struggling kids who found comfort by being each other's found families, and then those kids grow up and meet each other again.
My only personal input is that I saw some clips of the main couple on yt and :ok_hand: :ok_hand: :ok_hand: chef's kiss perfectly spicy

3. Lovestruck in the City
Korean Drama - 2020, 17 episodes
the male lead in this is SO hot but SO pathetic and is so obsessed with the female lead. there's cute simping "doing the most to get her attention" in the beginning, and then as the drama gets more angsty he somehow gets even more clingy to the female lead. it's very entertaining just trust me

4. Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha
Korean Drama - 2021, 16 episodes
male lead's patheticness is more subtle here as in he doesn't *completely* melt for the FL but he is still very simpy, he just hides it slightly more. even from episode 1 his down bad actions are noticeable and it just gets more obvious as time goes on

5. When the Camellia Blooms
Korean Drama - 2019, 40 episodes
basically the FL is this ostracized single mother in the countryside and the ML is this big golden retriever energy guy who is absolutely heads over heels for her.
the actual drama is mostly slice of life but there are a fair share of crying moments sprinkled throughout because the female lead is, as mentioned, an ostracized single mother who runs a bar in the korean countryside
