MY K-DRAMA FAVES!
Asian Drama fan since 2019 and now I am hooked! When I find myself wanting to watch a show over and over again or just play out when I’m at home, then I know it’s a good fave. First discovered K-Drama shows and these are some of my favorites.
-
1. Yumi's Cell
Korean Drama - 2021, 14 episodes
YES! Yumi’s Cells is now my #1 favorite! The cell characters themselves is what did it for me, I think. They’re so adorable, and the way the creators wrote them into script is just cool! From storyline to OST, loving it so much I’ll be starting on the webtoon soon, too. Great job everyone!
-
2. Yumi's Cell 2
Korean Drama - 2022, 14 episodes
Completed July 2022… Hopeful for a Season 3 to continue the webtoon story. Fell in love with the Cells themselves, they absolutely defined the show and made it so much fun to watch! Job well done by entire cast and crew!

4. Romance is a Bonus Book
Korean Drama - 2019, 16 episodes
Completed 2019. My first ever watching Lee Jong Suk and fell in love with him immediately. I liked the storyline so much, I remember crying a lot. Male lead character was quite charming and he’s so handsome you can’t help root for him to get the girl, love love loved it!

5. Hospital Playlist
Korean Drama - 2020, 12 episodes
Completed 2020. Love everything about it, reminds me of the typical ER or hospital shows in the U.S. but with less drama and a cleaner storyline. Love how they do flashbacks, makes it all the more interesting to watch. Love it, can’t wait for Season 2!

6. Healer
Korean Drama - 2014, 20 episodes

7. Falling for Innocence
Korean Drama - 2015, 16 episodes
Completed 2019. I know as title Beating Again via Netflix and was intrigued by the male lead, slick, clever, given a second chance and turns his life around. Not to mention he was such a well dressed man, pretty smooth.

8. Her Private Life
Korean Drama - 2019, 16 episodes
Completed 2019, and watched a second time 2021. I knew this one was special, had to watch it again to confirm it should make my favorites list. Has all the elements in a k-drama I like… comedy, a good continuous storyline and of course, the awesome romantic relationship of the two main leads.

9. Queen Cheorin

10. It's Okay to Not Be Okay
Korean Drama - 2020, 16 episodes
Completed 2020. Gotta love a good mystery. Especially, a show like this I thought was interesting. Everything about it quite unique, all three lead characters were ones to admire but the overall message of how it is okay to not be okay. Life deals everyone a different set of cards, it just depends on how you go about to play your hand. Love love loved it!
-
11. Strong Woman Do Bong Soon
Korean Drama - 2017, 16 episodes
Completed 2019. Another one with two favorite actors, male and female leads! A pretty cool story of girl saves boy, and the heartfelt romance between the two. They were both so cute, love love loved it!

-
13. Dress Sleeved Red
Korean Drama - 2021, 17 episodes
As heart wrenching as it was to watch this to the end, I loved it! When characters capture your interest from the start, and you find that you can’t help but to watch them every week, it makes for a great story and show. First time seeing these 2 ML and FL leads, and I fell in love with them. Thought I heard it’s based on a novel, if it is and is in an English version, I’d definitely be reading it too! We’ll done Red Sleeve cast and crew… thank you!

14. Dali and Gamjatang
Korean Drama - 2021, 16 episodes
-
15. Man to Man
Korean Drama - 2017, 16 episodes

17. The King: The Eternal Monarch
Korean Drama - 2020, 16 episodes

-
18. Tale of the Nine-Tailed
Korean Drama - 2020, 16 episodes
Completed 2021. Again, everyone does like a little bit of fantasy in their shows, and this was done quite well. Modern day fantasy tale of legends with mystery and of course, romance. Thought it had a great cast put together, the chemistry between the two main lead characters, Lee Dong Wook and Jo Bo Ah was spot on, loved it!

20. The Beauty Inside
Korean Drama - 2018, 16 episodes
Completed 2021. Caught this by chance just browsing for Ahn Jae Hyun but to my surprise loved the male lead character played by Lee Min Ki and recognized face of actress Another MissOh Seo Hyun Jin. They definitely hit it off with good character chemistry on the show, and I thought the facial blindness was an interesting concept.
-
21. A Business Proposal
Korean Drama - 2022, 12 episodes
-
22. Park's Contract Marriage Story
Korean Drama - 2023, 12 episodes
This was just straight up good writing, story plot didn’t drag so the Ep12 count was long enough to tell its story. Lots of humor with a talented cast to deliver, and of course, I’m a sucker for costumes so the production although mixed times was just beautiful (modern design hanbok’s rock)! Love, love the FL and just fell in love with the ML, they were a great match in this show❣️
