  • Law School

    1. Law School

    Korean Drama - 2021, 16 episodes

    10

I kid you not, this was my first k-drama I had ever watched I I did not expect it to be that good. I personally like a k-drama with none to less romance and law/crime or  like a nice good feeling friendship type of k-drama and law school checked all the boxes for me. This show made me want to watch more k-drama's and I don't regret it even the slightest bit. The casting for law school is perfect I wouldn't even change it the slightest bit. I would like to see the main leads (Kim Bum & Ryu Hye-young) in an other drama as main leads. I really enjoyed to see their chemistry (It wasn't necessarily romantic but a bit  platonic chemistry) I would see their acting in more of a romantic relationship. I'm just praying that they'll renew for a seconed season.

ps. I don't ship them, I would just like to see how they would do in a romantic relationship that's it.

  • Reply 1988

    2. Reply 1988

    Korean Drama - 2015, 20 episodes

    9.5

I started watching Reply 1988 after seeing the cast and I saw that Ryu Hye-Young was in it. I obviously had to watch it (I first saw here in law school). I kid you not I love this show, I love the cast chemistry, the production, the story line and everything else about it. I was't the biggest fan of the main couple, I liked the seconed lead better. I also like how the writer based it in the late 80's, yearly 90's. It was fun to see how other people lived in a time period I wasn't around in and in a whole other country with totally different traditions and cultures.  When I finished the show I wasn't like sad about it because it was a nice good feeling ending. If they don't renew for a seconed season (with the same cast) I won't be mad/sad about it, but if they do, I'm not going to complain.

  • Vincenzo

    3. Vincenzo

    Korean Drama - 2021, 20 episodes

    10

At first, I didn't really like it's slow paced beginning so I dropped it for at least 3-4 weeks. But then  I met with an old friend and she said that it was slow at first but half way though you'll really like it. The production is inescapable, literally one of my favourite productions so far. I  loved every single thing except one persons death, obviously. I do wish they had elaborate on the main leads relationship a bit more. Other than that I don't have much to say.  I'm not sure if a farther season is needed, I would like to see Song Joong-Ki and Jeon Yeo-Been in an other drama together, I really liked their chemistry together in Vincezno, and I believe that they could do great together in a different genre. I will be eagerly waiting for any further dramas/movies any of the cast members do.

  • Move to Heaven

    4. Move to Heaven

    Korean Drama - 2021, 10 episodes

    10

I feel like people talk about Move to Heaven for like two minutes and then move on too another show. This show diverse so much more.

I started watching  this show after a death in my family and it was so comforting and it was like a coping mechanism for me. I wouldn't say that it's only good if you can sympathise with the characters, but it's more like you get hit with like the rock of reality.

I would recommend Move to Heaven for someone who likes shows that are different plots each story with one story line going thorough the whole show (ex. Tomorrow and D.P) I will say that Move to Heaven dealt with very common social issues/topics such as; the LGBTQ+ community, poverty, domestic abuse, autism, suicide etc. in a very appropriate manner.

One thing I noticed as I was watching the show that the characters were very relatable, the characters were like "normal" people, they weren't some crazy good looks is all I am type of characters. They were very relatable and comforting. Move to Heaven had some of the best acting I've over the past year. Tang Jun Sang and Lee Je Hoon did a insane job, most of the time I could barely tell that I was watching a show. The acting was so natural and clean. Obviously acting a part where the character is on the Autism spectrum is insanely hard especially when you don't experiencing it yourself

I genuinely like watching the show. It was such a harsh yet warming show to watch, the type of show where you wan't to cry your heart and soul out too. The type of show you don't really want to watch again but appreciate what it was. Personally, think that a second season isn't necessary. Where the show ends it's such a beautiful tear-y ending, pretty safe to say that it is the best ending the show could have had.

  • Dress Sleeved Red

    5. Dress Sleeved Red

    Korean Drama - 2021, 17 episodes

    10

I first wanted to watch The Red Sleeve because I had read A LOT of great reviews about it and I wanted to check whether it lived up to the hype or not [I also wanted to see if Junho's acting was worth the best actor award, because he is the only idol who has ever receive that award (so far) and everyone was making a huge fuss about it. (for a good reason)]

I genuinely don't know where to start with this show. The writing, directing, producing, filming, acting and every other "ting" in The Red Sleeve is perfect. (with the exception of the ending, but it was nesscary) I'm not the biggest fan when it comes to period dramas, but I think this was like an awakening for me. You knowing life there's just something that are so good that even words can't do it justice, well that my feeling towards this drama.

I think for most of the period/historical drama's I've watched, I don't like the ratio of romance to history, to conflict is just too of. But I think they did such a  job with finding the balance of everything

For the people who've watched the drama know that a second season won't make any sense and it would be too messy. But, I would love too see Lee Se Young and Jun ho in another mature drama. I think over the past 2 years, these two have the best chemist I have seen. It is easily in my top 3 drama's of all time.
