Oh my gosh, there's so much I love about this drama. It's my all-time favorite! I love the characters, the music, the story, and just everything. Whenever I go back to it, it feels like home. ♡

So where do I even start. I just got so drawn into this drama right away AND fell in love with the characters (Sieun & Sooho)! The acting is so great, and you just want to keep watching and watching. This also dethroned Extracurricular as my favorite kdrama (since 2020)... It's just so good.

Fun Fact: I finished this on December 28, 2022 and I finished The Untamed on December 28, 2020- both are my only 10/10 dramas.

  • Extracurricular

    3. Extracurricular

WOW. Just wow. This kdrama is amazing- especially the ACTING! This show did everything right, and I wish there was a second season.

  • Mad for Each Other

    4. Mad for Each Other

    Korean Drama - 2021, 13 episodes

    9.5

Going into this, I didn't expect to love it as much as I did! If you can't tell, I'm not the most interested in romance focused dramas but I loved the leads together and it was so easy to watch! Truly a hidden gem!

  • Imawa no Kuni no Alice 2

    5. Imawa no Kuni no Alice 2

    Japanese Drama - 2022, 8 episodes

    9.5

Sooo, I really loved season 2 and I loved it more than season one (Idk if that's a popular or unpopular opinion) ... But I found this season more compelling, and I enjoyed the games a lot more. I did take like a 3-month break in the middle of this season (because of classes), but that didn't mess with my enjoyment.

    Spoilers below!!

But seriously, I come back from the break to finish the show and 20 seconds in my favorite character gets sh0t and then four more too.... but it's okay because of the ending. I really liked the ending! I'm glad it seems Arisu and Usagi are forming a relationship and I wish I could've seen more of the characters interacting with one another after the meteor. But, I did like how it gave us closure for each of the characters. The very last scene makes me wonder if they were teasing another season or just really wanted to zoom in on that joker card.... Anyways. I loved this drama and it's gonna be one of my all time favorites!

  • Girl from Nowhere

    6. Girl from Nowhere

This is exactly my cup of tea, Nanno is great- this show is just great.

  • Non siamo più vivi

    7. Non siamo più vivi

    Korean Drama - 2022, 12 episodes

    9.0

I don't normally go looking to watch a drama with zombies and a lot of gore, but this one really pulled me in. I couldn't stop watching.

  • Monster

    8. Monster

    Korean Drama - 2021, 16 episodes

    9.0

So, it took me awhile to actually finish this one, but the story- the mood, the setting- and especially the acting, makes this one to remember.

    -Spoilers-

Story: I'm normally a fan of crime thrillers or shows focused on uncovering the truth and catching a killer. I thought the plot moved along well. I did kind of lose interest around episodes 11-13 but it picked back up until I finished it.

I think they did good with how they unraveled the death of Dongsik's sister and how so many things played into it and connected to characters that were already established.

Acting: The actors can ACT. The acting all aroung was just great. It was perfect, and they are amazing, especially Shin Hakyun and Yeo Jingoo. They did so well at their roles.

Characters: I very much loved the main characters, Dongsik and Juwon. The rest were written well, I didn't have any issues.

Music: The music is great. I LOVE the jazzy ending song. It's perfect.

A very solid kdrama with outstanding acting.

  • Imawa no Kuni no Arisu

    9. Imawa no Kuni no Arisu

    Japanese Drama - 2020, 8 episodes

    9.0

I really enjoyed this one, and couldn't stop watching it! The thrill and suspense as they played the games felt so much like Squid game, and I finished it in two days! I like how it differed from Squid Game (Ik this was out before), but I kinda went in expecting it to be more similar because of how many times people have compared or recommended the two together.

    Spoilers below!!

I really like the story, and the concept- even though it's very gruesome and dark. I like how everything gets revealed and did NOT expect the two friends to die in the third episode??? Though I expected someone to die, I didn't expect it to be so soon. (Yes, I cried like a baby) I also like the pacing in the show as well. It's super easy to watch and the episodes go by so fast. And I love the acting! It's just great to be honest. Yamazaki Kento just does an exceptional job. As for the characters... I like the variety of characters a lot, and there isn't any that I hate or think are written badly. My favorite is Chishiya.

Anyways, I hope season 2 keeps up the momentum and is just as good, if not better!
