We really need to limit how many threads a new user can create. For example, maybe allow only 2 threads to be created each hour for a new user. Maybe have a trial period of 1 week and then remove the limit.

A really good idea. Can you please post this in the suggestion forum.

We could always get more staff responsible for going over reported posts/spam. Would anyone be interested in recruiting trustworthy users for that?
