Lady Gaga - Yay or Nay?

she is ok. i like her music but not her dress ups. she is weird but fine for me XD

I think she is talented vocally and a great pianist but she wastes her talent on gimmicks and inane pop tracks. Not too fond of her music. Just liked Telephone. I think that her image is 'weird for the sake of being weird'. She tries too hard it is just....awkward for me. Funnily Marilyn Manson said this about her recently which I thought was really spot on and constructive criticism. Something rare for celebs to get right when talking about each other: "I like the general idea of what she's about. I have a hard time liking her music. It's not my style of music that I like, and I like a lot of music that is in that vein. I like Kylie Minogue sometimes - I like a lot of unusual stuff, I like Justin Timberlake over Lady GaGa, just musically. I get the whole idea of what she's doing and I appreciate that. I don't think it's a bad thing, I think it's a good thing. At the same time, I don't try to have a different look every single moment because I think it's more ephemeral, it becomes less permanent. People like to identify with one single thing. I'm not one to knock her, she's obviously succeeded in what she's doing. It's not exactly the type of thing that I find myself listening to, but that doesn't mean I don't like her."

I'm fine with Lady Gaga. I like a lot of her older songs (not really any of her newer ones) and think they are pretty catchy. I'm not a big fan of her outfits though, their a little too over the top and weird for me. But yeah I think she's okay.

WOW. I totally wasn't expecting all the dislike for Gaga on here. I'm really surprised. For me it's a definite YAY. In contrast to other mydramalisters, I actually like her newer stuff much more than her older stuff. Pretty much from bad romance and later. Her second album was really good, but her third and latest album is AMAZING. I really suggest giving it a try. Her songs have a lot of europop inspiration and she also incorporates some opera, screamo, and more foreign languages. I love the experimentation. It really gives the album a new feel to it. She also incorporates new instruments. With each album I feel that she's progressing and becoming not only more worldly, but experienced and original. As for lady gaga herself. I love her. I think she's a living piece of art. What she's done for the sake of music and creativity is phenomenal. She's a performer at all times. She's made her life, herself, her clothes, everything artwork. She comes up with all the ideas for her music videos, outfits, concerts, etc, by herself. I love that she's not afraid to be controversial in her music subjects and life choices. Imagining all that she's endured and distaste, even hate, she's heard about herself, and that she's strong-willed through it all, (even promoting causes like throughout), I think Lady Gaga is a beautiful, creative, and absolutely talented woman. Just wanted to say my peace. ^.^

I used to like her songs back till 2010. Not her appearance. As a person I never really gave her a chance. So I don't think I have a right to say anything on that matter. Lady Gaga - Well, As long as the song's good enough. I don't mind.

I do recognize and commend her for being a talented singer and pianist, but it's a nay because I don't like how she dresses, most of her songs are :P (paparazzi and pokerface are ok), and I don't agree with the causes she supports.

She's banned to perform in my country. I dont like her music videos. I think she's an anti-christ or something, but i can't help but to put one of her songs in my mp3, Born this way, Maria aragon of youtube makes me love it. Surrry! :D
