Eurovision Song Contest 2011

I think this is the 1th year that I actually like what my country(Romania) sends for Eurovision.
I don't care about who wins, I don't think Romania will win anyway.

Azerbaijan has a sweet song.
Denmark's and Romania's songs are the type I usually listen to.
Hungary's song will most certainly be the dance song of 2011 so I'm sure I'll hear it a lot.
Iceland's song is my favorite, it gives me a warm feeling inside. So good luck Iceland!
Ireland's song is catchy so another summer hit.

And that's about all the songs that left me with a good impression.

Even though I'm American, I actually watched both semi's this year. I liked Denmarks and the one with huge hats :P Forgot which country it was.

Eurovision is corrupt. How could they not want an anfrican inspired theme from the cold snowy Norway? Beats me.

I'm from Sweden. This contest is HUGE here... And everybody is so freaking serious about it! D:
I know, Sweden was favourites in this contest like 20yrs ago, and people here still think that we're going to win everytime. And who's the poor boy from Sweden? Well, Eric is from the swedish disney chanel. All kids in kindergarten-age are in love with him. And his so afraid of that glass! WHY does he have to do that then? -_____-'

I'm not usually so into Eurovisions either but this year I watched both semi-finals with two friends who are real Eurovision enthusiasts. I think I'm rooting for Moldova, the song is nicely different and the weird garden-gnomish headgears are the cherry on the top. :D Denmark's not bad either and Iceland's very sympathetic. I somehow liked the Irish twins as well - the song is allrigth and they are just so energetic and a little wacky (in a good way). Their out-fits were hilariously corny and their hairstyles... oh boy.

I hope neither Russia nor Sweden wins. Not because I'm from Finland :P but because I just couldn't stand the lead singers - they gave me chills (not good ones.)
