Karadayi is a period drama set in the 70s about a shoe maker named Mahir whose father is falsely accused of the murder of the chief prosecutor. Mahir is unable to do anything about it legally since it’s such a high profile murder so he infiltrates the court house as a lawyer and falls in love with the judge of his father’s case, Feride. Feride is the daughter of a politician that always goes by the law till she falls in love with Mahir.
Their romance I’ll say is a very balanced romance with a sizzling chemistry. Even though it’s set in the 70s, Feride is a very strong woman and Mahir is a very honourable man even though he does less than legal things. He’s kind of a crime fighter in his neighbourhood. The familiar relationships are also very solid, I especially love the relationship btw Mahir and his father and Mahir and his nephew. All the actors are so good in this, even the villains.
