Happened to me. I was watching the Korean drama Life on Mars. After four episodes, suddenly everyone was Japanese and I didn't notice for some time that something important had changed. In my defence, at least early on, both countries were following the same plot, so the episode began where the other left off.

It takes you far too long than it ought to, to recognize a drama you have already seen! ?
