La recherche de la vengeance fausse les perceptions...

A ma première vision,, j’étais encore sous le charme de Lee Seung Gi que je venais de découvrir dans Korean Odyssey, donc retrouver le duo Seung gi/Seung Won je n’allais pas rater ça, et je l’avais beaucoup aimé. Mais le fait est que le drame résiste mal à la deuxième vision, car alors les défauts apparaissent: manque de rigueur dans le scénario, personnages assez naïfs, mêmes les « vieux » (l’attitude de Pan Seok avec son ex irait très bien à un ado de fin de troisième mais va beaucoup moins bien à un homme largement adulte, par exemple)ou caricaturaux (le « méchant » est tellement monolithique que ça en devient rigolo et quant à sa fille, n’en parlons pas ! ) ! Et surtout les longueurs !!! 20 épisodes c’est 4 de trop ! Plus on avance plus ça traîne et comme c’est dommage !
Malgré tout, l’histoire se tient à peu près, cette ancienne enquête jamais résolue sur la mort de la mère de Eun Dae Gu fait un bon fil rouge tout du long, même si par moment le fil est distendu et traîne par terre !
Les acteurs emportent la mise, on ne présente plus Cha Seung Won, qui se tire magnifiquement de tous les rôles qu’on lui donne, et Lee Seung Gi a la fougue et l’innocence de la jeunesse, que malheureusement il a perdu dans « Vagabond »… Les autres sont très bien aussi, les deux jeunes comme les vétérans qu’on recrois régulièrement.

Au total, c’est un drama tout à fait regardable, plaisant, mais peut -être vaut-il mieux éviter de le revoir pour en garder un meilleur souvenir !

I had such an amazing time watching this show I didn't even realize I was close to finishing it ^_^ seriously 20 episodes and it never felt like it was dragging. I feel like there should have been more actual action than sitting around solving crimes if they had done that this would be a much higher rating. But when the action was there it was done so well! Especially the angst just amazing, you truly feel for the characters. This show is definitely emotional but not as angsty. It's not gritty or anything just more light feeling except for a few hurt scenes they did those so well! So yes, a show worth watching that will get you emotional and the characters were memorable and likeable. I especially loved the love hate relationship between Lee seungi and Cha Seung Won. You never know what's really going on I enjoyed the mystery. And Go Ara she's good fit for the role. Of course I can't forget Ahn Jae Hyun, he's so beautiful and his bromance with Park Jung min was so adorable!!!

STORY: Ottoke? Why did I just discovered this gem now? I keep on hitting myself over it! i love this drama!!!! I need a season 2 or something but its been four years now since it's release so it's impossible, anyways. At first, I thought I wouldn't like the plot cause I usually don't watch shows relating to crime,laws or politics whatever but this drama is really good!
CAST: I watched this show for Lee Seung Gi and Cha Seung Wo (both of them acted in A korean odyssey) but I didn't know Go Ara and Ahn Jae Hyun where in this show too! I was quite pleasantly surprise~ hahaha, but TBH this was the only show that I really liked Go Ara's character, this was a great choice for her!
MUSIC: Yep, they don't have that many BGM and OST but the songs played were really cute! hahahaha I remembered in the early episodes they played a song from my chemical romance - black parade if i wasn't mistaken, hahahaha
REWATCH VALUE: Oh yes, I'll rewatch this show in a heartbeat!
OVERALL RATE: 9.5/10! this deserves a high rate (for me, atleast)

This drama surprised me. I am glad i picked it up. It was an easy watch and entertaining. I laughed so many times. All the six characters gets a good screen time. This drama is about how people from different background come together and form a team and work hard supporting each other. Story is not new but the acting and star cast is definitely awesome! I have always like watching Ahn Jae for his good looks and he entertains well. In this drama he looks dashing with gun holsters ;). I became fan of Lee Seung Gi, he is my new fav.. his character is aloof and has gone many hardships, he's straight forward, smart, hot tempered and introvert. I watched couple of his drama and from this drama i can say he can pull off some romantic scenes well. Chemistry between Lee Seung Gi and Go ah Ra is pretty good on screen. Go Ah Ra is really pretty, she is sensible but little dim wit, she works hard to meet her goal, she friendly and forgiving. I like her character and ofcourse Cha Seung Won, he is amazing!

I began to watch this drama yesterday, because I wanted something with action in it. It did not disappoint as I finished it today, too hooked to leave it alone.

The  story line was great and it didn't unnecessarily drag out the "not so important" scenes, which made it easy to keep watching.  
It definitely kept me intrigued the whole time and I'm more than glad to come across this one.
It had good comedy, nice romance here and there  (very maturely, which was a huge plus as childish ones tend to ruin this type of genre for me)
and kept good pacing up through the whole deal.

All the characters were great, very charismatic and balanced with each other. The plot made me come here, but the actors definitely made me stay here.

Musically nothing special stuck in my head, just very appropriate and in times funnily included in the scenes.

All in all You're All Surrounded was a great cop/criminal/investigation etc.  drama, one of the best I've seen.  
I definitely recommend this to anyone who's wondering about it. It's worth the watch and more!

Loved the fact that the suspense which has been weaved throughout the episodes is consistent and gripping. The romantic thread is enjoyable. The chemistry is good. But the plus point for me is the suspense and the plot twists.
The pace is not slow (another plus for me)
Good acting! (i actually found the female lead annoying initially to the extent that I didn't want the male lead to be interested in her, lol! That's how good an actress she seems to be) The male lead is excellent.
A definite engaging watch.

The Mixed-up Genres here works just fine!

This one has a bit of everything.A sweet love story,good action scenes,crime and investigation and a dose of a melo.

Music:Sweet and emotional mostly in the "sensitive" scenes.Good but nothing special!

Production/Direction/cinematography:Good, nothing extraordinary.I wasn't impressed with anything in particular but i wasn't annoyed either.Nothing bad to distruct you.

Cast/acting:Lee Seung Gi & Cha Seung Won never disappoint.This was the first drama i saw both of them in something different.Rest of the cast was good too.Acting on point sometimes a bit stretched but noone was "off" their role.


This is an interesting world because all of us have different opinions.Ive read alot bad comments about this and alot criticism.
I guess many expected this drama to be just comedy or just crime or just romance.I know.Iam this type too.Iam always sceptical with mix-up genres.But with this one i wasn't fooled or deceived.First scene was hilarious.It screamed"Beware,comedy and funny moments ahead!"And indeed was a fun ride.
Iam not the kind of viewer who starts a drama expecting to be perfect.And this one is far from perfection.
The characters have flaws and weaknesses and make irrational decisions in the heat of the moment.

The story is not perfect either.Many flaws.Few unanswered questions.20 hourly episodes was too much.Yes the story was dragged.But surprisingly i wasn't bored.The melo part was sometimes too much for my taste.The amount of crying too!The romance and flirting scenes were teenage-liked and not between 2 adults in their 30's.But i didn't care much!Why?Because this was a drama that made me feel good.I had fun.I enjoyed it.No need to complicate things when something feels right and nice without a reason.

P.s: The cheesy scenes type "you fall,i catch you" always looks better in Bls!

I can't rave about this drama enough. The first 2 episodes were a bit hard to get through because they were so incredibly sad, but even though the events that occurred in those first 2 episodes were cruel, I binge watched nearly every single second of this whole drama. I loved all the characters and their dynamics with each other and I really feel like all the characters were well-written.
Also, I watched this drama TWICE in one week, which I think goes to show how AMAZING it is. Not only was the plot well thought out, but the drama was FUNNY. Laugh out loud funny! It was amazing. I will definitely be watching this drama again in the future. Most definitely worth the watch (and rewatch haha)!

Just how long did they have to stretch the story? It could've been done in 16 episodes max. So many unnecessary twists and turns. No proper attention to detail. The story and characters are great. They could've developed the plot in a better way. 1/3rd of the scenes seemed like filler.
The comedy is good. The acting of the cast is superb. I adored the characters and their camaraderie. The romantic relationships in the show are pretty good though they get a little confusing (at least for me because I swear to god there was some tension between Eo Soo Sun & Pan Seok and Park Tae Il and Kim Sa Kyung). I loved that it explored the lgbt+ theme a little. Instead of turning into a stupid comic factor they showed us the reality of how families take it. I loved that his friends weren't willing to judge him when they thought he was gay. Also it showed healthy relationship between guys. How they can be touchy feely and like candles, wine etc. and just a general healthy intimate friendship.
It's a good drama overall even though it tends to drag a little. You'll enjoy it. Especially how everything connects in the end. A lot of plot twists that just leave you shook.
The actors did a great job. Leave it all, I would recommend watching the show only based on the cast.

Hilarious

When I saw the preview I had to watch. I think I watched this because the main character was in Vegabond.

I have said this in just about all my reviews about what I like and dislike in Korean dramas. I love love love the action and comedy but I seriously am starting to hate the cliche romances. I most certainly didn't care for the romance in this.

All of the actors played their characters really well. Some had the chemistry and some did not. I also hate being hard on female Korean actresses but I seriously can't stand the way they portray the Korean women. I seriously can't!!

The premise of this series consists of bumbling newbie detectives who grow towards the end. How they made it was hilarious in itself. It sort of had that Naked Gun, Who's Harry Crumb vibe to it.

This is a series where you can just watch just to get a laugh out with a hint of mystery and unfortunately romance. If it weren't for the romance stuff I would given this a higher score.
