Lighthearted, refreshing, and fun!
Wrong Carriage Right Groom is such a great, invigorating, and fun romantic comedy. The plot is full of intrigue that gives both leading couples the opportunity to showcase their strengths and their steadfastness toward each other. Although the first leading couple’s (Li Yu Hu and Qi Tian Le) storyline has an insufferable antagonist, their relationship and the ways that they support each other are really nice and refreshing to watch. The second leading couple’s (Du Bing Yan and Yuan Bu Qu) relationship, although a bit more toned down because of their roles and personalities, develops naturally and is very nice to see them work together and remain faithful to their committed love for each other. The plot also includes other interesting characters and couples that are nice and interesting to watch. The couples have great chemistry and, even though their intimate scenes are not torridly passionate, the actors did well showing their love and care for each other. Overall, this drama is a breath of fresh air set in a historical setting with very likable characters and a fun storyline. Enjoy it!Questa recensione ti è stata utile?

ALMOST great
Okay so the beginning was great. I loved it but it soon turned very draggy very fast. Like the build up of the villain for YuHu and TianLei's storyline was good but the big climax was hella weak. Also the storyline of the Princess and Pingwei was so not needed. That was a waste of time. Buqu and Bingyan were missing from way too many episodes to be still be considered as mains.I was really disappointed because it started off so good. Watch at your own risk. The acting wasn't bad tho.

I love Tian Xi Wei but this is my honest feedback..
*** Spoiler Alert (PERSONAL FEEDBACK)Title : Wrong Carriage, Right Groom - 2023 (Complete 24 Episodes)
Personal Rating : 7.5/10
This drama was adapted from a novel of the same name by Xi Juan, which also spawned a 2001 drama, also named “Wrong Carriage, Right Groom.”
Initially I was very excited about it since it is TIAN XI WEI.. She is adorable.. and this is the first time I watched a drama of AO RUI PENG so I was really looking forward to it.. The first few episodes for me are really great.. ❤️ It is focused on how the two brides took the wrong carriage.. then they have their own cute stories.. how the 2 couples started to know each other but after few more episodes the story was shifted to side couples.. what I mean is there are too many couples thrown in the story and the main FL and ML screen time become less.. The villains gets more screentime than the 2nd couple.. There are a lot of stories within the story itself.. and it became boring and unnecessary for me..
Overall, my personal rating is 7.5/10 since it is Romantic Comedy with Happy Ending drama. The actors and actress are great but it is kind drama that doesn’t stand out for me. It was okay – okay..

SHORT WITH INTRIGUES AND SWEET
This drama is just everything. I'm sad that it ended but very happy on how it ended. This is a light rom-com and just so sweet. Each of the Female Leads compliment the Male Leads. We can see how Li Yuhu was an expert in martial arts so she's smart but just impatient, but I think this is how general or men in military acted. So she suits the calm, scholarly also smart Qi Tianlei. Whereas the graceful and intelligent Du Bingyan suits the serious and brave General Yuan Buqu or Ziren. Du Bingyan also turned fearless to pursue her husband and ended up falling for him.
The first or second episode, I think they had a bit of a problem with putting the ost repeatedly and it was a bit annoying.
I'm very in love with the hair accessories/headdress of this drama just... Marvelous? The costumes ??????
I love that they gave us the bonus couples story: the Master Liu and Madam Shu, Sha Pingwei with Princess Changping and also Yangsheng with Jintang.
It's so fun and just leave me with warm feeling when it ends.

really disappointed by the storyline. ml and fl are really stupid at times that all the things happened were all their fault. it's life how many time can this happen before you get there idea the the bad guys are onto youI am watching till the end cuz I always finish a show. but it's definitely not worth the time and you should not start. the fact I have to write a book for a review is stupid. but I will just write what ever

Cute, adorable and sweet
The basic storyline reminds me of another series - Truth or Dare - where the brides got switched via the same method also. But that is about the similarity of these 2 series. For this series, Wrong Carriage, Right Groom, apparently is a "remake" of the series of the same name that was aired in 2001. You can actually see it when you browse the Cast and Crew tab and click to view the dramas / movies the Empress of this series made - she also was in the cast of the 2001 series. The 2023 version - this very series - is very cute and adorable. It has a simple, short and sweet storyline that has a very nice happily ever after. So if you are looking for a nice simple short and sweet love story, this would a good one to watch.
The 2 lead couples are great together. One serious and no nonsense while the other pair is playful and cheeky. Both couples' chemistry together is quite good, wouldn't say rocket high good but they are compatible. The entire cast and crew did a great job on this series, especially the villain. I would have to agree with some of the reviews on how the villain of this series is so highly annoying. That just means he did a great job portraying his character. ^^ The music to this series is not really to my liking, but then again, could be because all of the songs are females with abit pitchy high voices. Therefore, for me, the OST of this series is just a mere OK. Wouldn't be something that I would spend time hunting down to keep.

A simple light hearted costume drama!!!
Wrong carriage, right groom has been on my watch list for a long time and I am glad that I have watched it.It is a simple light hearted drama with a right mix and a perfect balance of all emotions and elements. The plot was good, though it is not a new one.The way the drama and the story were presented is highly impressive!!
The actors, story, screenplay, pace, costumes, settings, interiors, locations everything were perfect.
I love how the drama ended on a happy note with all the problems solved in a decent manner.
Ao Ruipeng and Tian Xiwei were good as the main couple.
Zhao Shunran and Bai Bing Ke were decent and gentle in their roles.
The drama was quite interesting too with enough twists and turns to keep us glued to it
Overall a very PLEASANT and DECENT watch.
It is highly recommended drama if you are looking for a light hearted, impressive and simple yet interesting costume drama.

Not so bad not so good
Started watching this series because of the leads. I watched their previous series Poisoned Love & New Life Begins, though I watched the last 5 /10 episodes of each series.I liked Li Yu Hu & Qi Tian Lei teasing & fun-loving moments. Qi Tian Lei is smart & intelligent, whereas Li Yu Hu is not so smart but a quick learner.
2nd couple doesn't have that many scenes. In most C-Dramas, side couples will always have importance or as many scenes as main leads. Whereas when there is a series with two main couples, the 1st one will get more importance than the other as if the 2nd one never existed.
Hated Li Yu Hu voice actress. I mean why in C-Drama they have to use voice actors. Why fuck they don't use the actors' original voices?
The fight scenes would be better.
Liked that the male leads knew about the bride swap quite early.
The story is not extraordinary. If you're looking for a series with a good story, this is not for you.
Like the songs.

A random beautiful fate of mistaken arranged marriages!!!
What I liked about this drama was the simplicity of the story. The flow of how it was shown was never unfussy and clearly brought me to what I was expecting it to be. Much to my enjoyment, it was very light and contained minimal dramatic scenes. The characters of the five couples were sensibly built as to the role they were playing, noting as well the pleasant screen chemistry of all. It was amusing to watch these five couples supporting each other to protect their relationship, family, and friends.I commend the creator for her candid style of writing. First, in those scenes where the main lead couple (Tian Xi Wei & Ao Rui Peng) always beat the wicked schemes of the adopted grandson in the Qi’s residence, unlike in other shows, the protagonist was inclined to be fooled by the villain and it was so frustrating to watch. Second, in the revelation parts of the switch identities of the brides that were not taken against them and swiftly gained acceptance from the involved parties. Third, the process of exposing and capturing the villain’s characters was done in a rightful end. And finally, it was a nice sight choice to include an interesting prank scene in the final episode that came as a surprise. The whole story ended where it began where the mishap of swapping happened and manifested their faith and gratefulness by going back to the temple.
I considered this drama as “less but more” in the aspect of being simple but substantially full in storytelling. It was a comfort watch, adding to the fact that Tian Xi Wei is one of my favorites.

Right Idea, Wrong First Pair
It's a testament to the strength of the core concept that I kind of stuck this one out. I don't watch historicals, but the 'bride swap' intrigued me so I gave it a go. By ep 3, the core problem was clear - the WRONG pair was primary lead. I kept hoping for more of Bingyan and her General, but by ep 10, they were bit players. So I skipped to episode 21, where I cracked up laughing at the amount of exposition. It was a totally random pick for where to start watching "the end" but it woked really well as the Old Grandmother helpfully had a conversation with TianLei and Yuhu that filled me in on the 11 eps I'd skipped. It also confirmed that I missed nothing except endless politicking and trickery from the villain and stupidity from the non-villains.Overall not an awful watch, but definitely not worth sitting through all 24 episodes, when so many of them are "rinse and repeat" storylines. Had Bingyang and the General been the primary leads, it could have been a real treat.
