An Ye Yu Li Ming Episode 1
Lin Shao Bai is upset that he can't get his salary, so he steals provisions from the police station with his best friend, Xu Wei. During the heist, they encounter an execution of some communists and are caught. They are forced to take part in the firing squad and kill the communists. Lin Shao Bai thinks up a plan to get out of it, but Xu Wei executes the two remaining communists. The two decide to buy tickets and escape from Shanghai, but they are short of one boat ticket, and Lin Shao Bai gets caught.

I think he was a great pick. He plays a reckless, impulsive character with boyish charm that you can't help rooting for. Having watched him in Mr Bad & Hidden Love, I really admire his willingness to take on a more serious role, and I think he fits in well here. CZY is clearly less experienced than the actors around him, which fits the character perfectly and lends it an air of authenticity. I'm not one for political dramas, but I'm interested in seeing where this one goes.

First episode is like the introduction of Lin Shaobai character. He ruled in the whole episode. He is mere a normal police officer. His expression was on point when he was forced to kill people. He was afraid but he dealed well with Mao Sen. His friendship with Sun Yan was another highlighting point.
