As what I have expected, This BL did not fail me ! I waited so so long for all the episodes to be aired so that I may binge watching this ! and I love love love it so so much, This will be added to my favorite and most memorable BL list !
Aside that ForceBook is one of my favorite BL Ship, and that Force is one of my crush, This drama is so damn good ! like as what I have put in the headline of this review, as I finish watching it, that is the message of this drama, that if we are truly in love we always want to be a better person for the person we love, we give everything !
The lovey dovey moments is a five star ! like you will literally scream as you watch this couple , this is such a good vibes giver and I've had a good sleep because of this !
The kissing scene is on fire ! like you will be satisfied with it, not awkward great acting ! and speaking of great acting , I loved the acting of each of every character in this drama ! and Also P'Jack ! I always see him doing comedy things on GMMTV dramas but here his character is more serious than the usual more mature and I loved how he portrayed P'Jack ! and P'Gun also did a great job .. like He really looked matured and gentle here, and on the part where he had to cry to shout because he is angry.. He has given exactly as what is needed. everyone did a great job.
I loved the progression of the story, I commend GMMTV so much for this ! everything is just good in the eyes.
My favorite episodes is 8, 9 and 11 !! those were on fire like those were the momentum, and I really felt the emotion !
I hope Forcebook couple will have another BL as good as this in the future 🙏 I really stan them !
I am gonna re watch this again one day ! love it

This is the second time I watched this drama and I think I will be re watching this again in the future, the reason is I really missed my Force Jiratchaping Srisang !! 🩵 so anyways even the fact that Force is my Bias, Im gonna give this an honest review, so here we go !
STORY
The story was common, and there are parts that was too unrealistic, and the closeness of Gun and Laem was too fast, I've seen here that Force and Book somehow cannot get out of who they are in real life , coz they maybe that close in real life that it was clearly seen in this show, that made it too unrealistic, on the contrary you will see that this show was not petty, coz as you watch it, you will see its direction, there is something more, it get quiet too good to be true in the beginning but the juice was given to my eyes all along, the story really began in the middle part and now that I have finished it, I realized that everything happened in the beginning contributed to the ending and I realized it was really good ! I was actually thinking why I gave tjis show a super high points the first time I watched it, and this was one of the reason! Besides that I so love Force. I was really touched by this drama once again, there are so many parts that I like about this show, it was not perfect but it will definitely leave a mark in your heart. Actually have a nice story line, with direction and easy to understand but bit unrealistic and some parts were off but still okay
ACTING
Compared to ForceBook acting on Enchante' there was so much improvement I've seen here, From the part where they were crying to shouting and facial expression, it was nice and the kiss looked more natural then Enchante. In some ways I am annoyed to Cher's Character, and Gun was a total green flag, he was not really bad here, the only reason why he was always moody and sulking was there was no one yet to make his life colorful ! But look ! He even bailed, Cher's brother from getting prisoned of 500k Baht ! In real life, no matter how rich I am, and even I love someone I would not spend a money like that to someone I barely know, but Gun has a good heart here for someone he loves, lucky Cher was ! I love P'Oi here , she is my favorite character ! And Mike I was so proud of him here that he has a mature role here unlike his past roles on GMMTV series where he had a comedian role , like not literally comedian but has a funny character but here he was mature, serious brother of Cher and he was actually great ! And yeah again super proud of Force, he was totally different here fron his real character, and when he shouted at Cher when someone gave the evidence of the game being them as a creator, I was amazed and felt everything ! Very good job !
VISUALS
I was crazy of force ! Like I literally shout all the time when Force was on screen like damn that camera man ! Why does they have to always show force's very handsome angles ?!? And his stylist OMG I wanna be their friends ! anyways enough of fan boying here. The visuals are great ! I liked the places or was that an effects ? Coz every places there seems had a blue light effect and I liked it so much ! All in all good job !
ALL IN ALL
I will not blame myself , coz this show is special to me , And it is because I am a fan of ForceBook as you can notice ! This show was not perfect but special in my heart. I was never wrong of re watching this that is why I rewatched it and will be re watching this again coz it is hard to move on to. I hope that Force Book will have another show and I hope It will be directed by P'Aof 😅 .. 'Aof ! Shout out to you ..

That dark twist fooled tf outta me!!

This supposed to be fluffy lovey dovey series turned 180 in the worst way possible. That dark twist, nah, we shouldn't do that! That's such a mess dreadful enough. I didn't like that stepfather SA'd her stepdaughter then that dead-herself turnout. All that twist is a bummer. They really messed this up big time. We should have stayed with that JoongDunk type of series. Dunno why it had to be like this. The love I felt in those previous eps felt estranged to me. ForceBook, being there, just saved the series somehow. Another nega for this series is the problematic sonofabitch character which just spews negativity whenever he's on-screen. He's just there to borrow huge shitload of money from Cher then that imprisoned situation is just ick. Mind u he exposed his stepdad as the suspect of SA. I don't think bringing him in the series show any impact. It's just a burden for my little mind to bear let alone my eyes witness his behavior.

All I really hoped was bring the softness cute series back and undo that twist and those negas. Their just unnecessary burden for viewers. I was like wanna watch a light series but bruh this is not what I expected. Expected that bad.

The cast were alright. Again this series should have been short and light with few casts here and there. I'd prefer it that way. Idunno I think that's just a popular opinion. Sorry. Without those negas, I think this is decent or fair series to catch up on after serious deeper BLs out there.

It's a 7, but it's <3 so cute

It's adorable! I gave a 7, but is actually very cute and sweet! But let me tell you, point by point.

About the story: I didn't like the development, and 12 episodes were so much, the series easily will fit into 10 or maybe 8 episodes.

Thinking about Gun (Force) and Cher/Laem (Book), I was really endeared by their dynamics, it was 2 roles that fit them very much. Cher was so, so, SOOO adorable, I wanted to bite him. He was so cute, sweet, gentle, and such a sunshine! And that's exactly why I was a little upset with the screenplay, bcs some actions and things that he did was just so weird when you think about his personality?? About Gun, he was such a gentleman, but... they described him as a cold person and he just wasn't at all? Just a normal boss ig. And that made me a little lost.

In action topics, ForceBook was very good! Force (Gun) was perfect. But I have to say: I love Book, he is a good actor and SO CHARISMATIC (and that's exactly why he's a perfect Cher) but he really slacked in dramatic scenes, all his crying scenes were weird and not natural, it looks like he was really forcing and it wasn't working.

About other characters, the gamers were a very cute group of people, and they were REALLY good, supportive, and caring friends, but Jack made me a little ermmm bcs some of his attitudes. Nothing too deep, tho, he was a good friend at all. Three and Zo were a cutie couple too!

What feels so weird about AB&AB it's that we have 12 episodes, but seems like I didn't watch 12 episodes at all, but at the same time, 12 episodes for what? Because what exactly was happening in all that TWELVE epsiodes? Weird, IDK how to explain at all so... That's it.

Sem vilões mas atuações

A boss and a babe mostrou ser uma trama bem simples de se entender, sem grandes vilões e um casal principal fofo que se tornaram o casal conforto de muitos que acompanharam semana a semana o desenrolar simples do casal.
As atuações foram bem convincente porque a história não pedia por grandes atuações dramáticas, alguns episódios foram bem cansativos mas no geral foi gostosinho de acompanhar.
Force e Book entregaram um bl merecedor de todo o sucesso que eles obtiveram, colocaram todas as suas forças num bl que mostrou o relacionamento saudável de seus personagens.

Loved every second of this show!

A Boss and a Babe presents the story of Gun, a CEO, and Cher, his intern, as they navigate a scandalous office romance. The show introduces us to a young and optimistic intern who joins a company and encounters an overbearing, rude, and despised boss. As Cher gradually chips away at Gun's tough exterior, their relationship becomes intertwined with scandal, and faces intense criticism for being inappropriate within the office setting.

A Boss and a Babe offers a delightful blend of witty humor and energetic performances from the actors. It certainly doesn't hurt that Force is an attractive individual—I wouldn't mind having him as my boss (lol!). Although I came across some negative reviews regarding the storytelling and writing, I decided to give the show a chance. Some viewers expressed concerns about the boss making sexual advances toward an intern and the power dynamics at play in their relationship. However, after watching the series, I personally didn't find it to be a significant issue and felt that it actually contributed to the overall story.

My focus was primarily on the blossoming relationship between Cher and Gun, which evolved beyond the boundaries of a typical intern-CEO dynamic. They faced numerous challenges, encountered harsh criticism, and were made to feel as though they shouldn't be together. The show provides a refreshing twist on the enemies-to-lovers trope, complemented by witty humor and Cher's tendency to call out the clichés within the BL genre, which had me laughing and smiling throughout. I particularly enjoyed witnessing the progression of Cher and Gun's relationship in each episode, especially towards the end when Cher took charge of his own life to be with the person he loves.

Strong beginning but slowly lost its touch

The story started well with both Cher and Gun having depth to their character with a sad and messed up past. Along the way, things got out of hand when they didn't give enough focus to side characters.

Thyme/Time and Thoop were 2 neglected pieces in this story. Till the end, they never showed what went wrong between Gun and Thyme, which means it was a lost friendship that could have actually made the story more interesting. As for Thoop, we don't know what happened with the drug charges, and neither do we know what happened to his stepfather.

The biggest plot hole was when they showed Thoop reconciling with his mother who knew all along that Tian was getting raped by her stepfather. That's a very insensitive way of showing forgiveness. As far as I know, legally, the mother should also go to jail as an accomplice since she never intervened even though she knew that a minor was getting assaulted.

We also don't know why Thi was so hell-bent to win the gaming competition. I mean I understand that he wanted to win but his reaction when they all won't have time to practice made us think there is some backstory or maybe a dream. Instead of focusing on that, the series only showed the cheezy romantic part of Thi and Zo's relationship.

So, overall a good one-time watch if you want to enjoy a light-hearted romance and have a laugh.

Actually I did stop watching this series after few episodes but decided to give it a try. And I'm glad that I gave this series a second chance. BL series has very set pattern, lead actors meet they fight and they fall in love then they go through some misunderstanding and resolve it to get back together. This series has some different vibe. I love the story it's light and the actors have done a tremendously good job. The pair is so cute and lovely. The cinematography is good. I can just keep on adding positive points but for the experience you have to watch it. Just go and watch this series.

UMA DAS COISAS MELHORES COISAS QUE EU JÁ ASSISTI NA VIDA (MESMO COM SEUS DEFEITOS)

Eu fico tão feliz toda vez que eu lembro dessa séria, ela tem momentos tão gostosos que acaba sendo a série de conforto perfeita.
Desde que eu bati os olhos nessa capa eu já fiquei interessada pois os atores são bonitos e quando eu li a sinopse eu me apaixonei de vez pois eu amo uma história entre chefe e estagiário. Ela é leve e engraçada, do começo até a metade tudo acontece de forma fluida e sem muito drama o que particularmente eu acho perfeito, é da metade pro final que alguns problemas acontecem (mas não anulam toda a experiência maravilhosa que temos).
Na metade da história temos amigos preocupados com o Cher por ele ser apenas um estagiário e não estar a altura de alguém acima dele na hierarquia (o que eu acho patético visto que todos conheciam a relação entre os dois e achavam bonita), temos confusões causadas pela insegurança do Cher (mesmo o Gun sendo absolutamente perfeito e sincero com ele) e uma decisão final tomada pelo Cher que foi desastrosa mas deu tudo certo no final.
Gun é o melhor personagem e mesmo sendo uma comédia romântica muitas camadas foram adicionadas a ele, principalmente um traço de insegurança com relação a abandono e mesmo assim o Cher acaba dando umas vaciladas com ele (nunca irei perdoar) e tem uma cena em que o Cher está bêbado e diz umas coisas muito injustas ao Gun e que nem mesmo fazem sentido.
Enfim, não é uma série perfeita mas ela tem um charme muito único, cenas muito gostosas e engraçadas e uma ótima química entre os atores que segura muito bem a barra na hora dos erros (mesmo que nas cenas mais íntimas o Cher pareça sempre estar se esquivando do Gun, isso é algo que poderia ser melhorado).

Que

Por lo general me duele gustar este tipo de BL, este no es la excepción. Me hubiera gustado que abarcarán más con el tema del padrastro de Thoop y Tian, saber el transfondo me dejó en shock como siempre este tipo de transfondos de personaje me suele dejar.

La pareja secundaria del ThreeZo me pareció muy tierna, las separaciones de Gun y Cher me dolían en el ALMAAA, ame la mayoría de escena de Gun y Cher, la parte del perro persiguiendoles me provocó gracia,,,,

Cuando Cher se echó la culpa me puse a chillar, me sentí bien mal por los dos y que luego GUN BORRACHOOOOOO, yo les llore muy feo, otra cosa, ame la escena de Cher gsto, fue la megor. 👻

Al final no entendí que paso con Thyme, siento que no abarcaron tantos temas, de ahí, creo que la volvería a ver, me divertí mucho viendo este BL, es uno de mis favoritos. ⊂ (≧▽≦) ⊃
