HOW AMAZING THIS DRAMA IS!!!

Finally!!! We got to know the ending. Though i am not that happy with the ending but i loved it... And i want to know why just WHY did you leave without an specific ending... But this is not only a drama this is the source of my happiness now!!! And i must say those who are missing out this masterpiece.. You are not a drama lover!!! I knew from the very start from the very trailer that it's going to be a not only good and also not only great but THE GREATEST,BESTEST,MASTERPIECE OF MASTERPIECES!!!!!! Tbh in the 1st ep i fell in love with the ha brothers but when ha eun gyeol travelled to this father's timeline.. Slowly slowly i also started to like ha yi chan.. And the band's members they are also amazing!!!! I loved how they showed the father-son relationship thi drama!!!And also the ost's of the drama is *don't have words*.. My favourite one is ha eun gyeol's 1st song!!!! I wanted to rate it 100 but it is only limited to 10 so 10 on 10...
SERIOUSLY HOW CAN A DRAMA BE THIS GOOD!!!!!

O melhor do ano sim!! Melancia Cintilante não é só um drama adolescente, ele nos trouxe uma amizade incrível entre pai e filho, reconciliação de famílias, nos trouxe à linguagem do amor pela língua de sinais, nos trouxe paixões e músicas maravilhosas!!! Eu não tenho palavras pra expressar tudo que senti durante o drama. Fui do riso ao choro, do choro ao riso incontáveis vezes.

loved it!

I loved, loved, loved this show. I had my eyes for it as soon as it started airing, but I patiently waited for all episodes to finish airing so I could binge watch it in a weekend. I love time travel themed shows, and this one was such a heart warming story, of family, love, friendship, dreams, love and loyalty! I loved all the characters, especially the ones from 1995, and I felt the dilemma, confusion, happiness and sadness with every character, especially the ML, right with him. The actress who played Cheong-Ah in 1995 was super cute and I simply loved her innocence and expressions. One discovered that the disability of the ML’s dad was not congenital, rather due to an accident at the age of 18, but even if it was 1995, hearing aids were available to people who could speak but just couldn’t hear. I mean one can understand how Beethoven became deaf and couldn’t be treated in the 1700s, but it is beyond me why Ha Lee Chan couldn’t be given a hearing aid! That said, I still love this show to pieces, and would be rewatching it several times, and would also recommend it to my friends!

Fantastic except how they treated talk of suicide and used gayness as slap-stick

I want to say that I loved this drama and watched it all in one sitting. I also had two holdbacks that kept slapping me across the face as the show went on because they never went away.

Eun Yu travels back in time to literally kill herself. She tells Eun Gyeol multiple times, and NOT THING HAPPENS. HE BARELY REACTS AND BY EPISODE 12 IT'S LIKE SHE'S TALKING ABOUT THE WEATHER. IF THIS WAS NOT FICTION (AND EVEN IN FICTION), WHEN SOMEONE TELLS YOU THEY'RE GOING TO KILL THEMSELVES, COUNT YOURSELF LUCKY THEY TOLD YOU THIS TIME. I DON'T CARE IF THEY'RE JOKING, OR UNSURE, OR IT'S SPUR OF THE MOMENT.
THIS. IS. A. CRY. FOR. HELP.
I would give anything for him to have reacted appropriately once. To have acknowledged what she said, to have even checked in, "so, I hear you want to kill yourself. You serious?" Instead, by episode 12, she's holding full conversations about coming here to kill herself multiple times in an episode, and .... and.... HOW CAN THE CONVERSATION JUST CONTINUE. I'm sitting here, like, wait, dude, bro, like what? Are you at least going to ask her if she still plans to kill herself? She's talking in the present tense here and it's not the subtitles' fault.
If you were someone who has a suicidal friend or family member and saw this and even considered for a moment, "this is how people respond when someone tells you they're trying to kill themselves?" that's bad. If suicide isn't talked about in a community, and more media than not treats it as unreal, un-urgent, or even a joke... this will affect your view and behavior. You are also going to treat it that way. And if you, the reader are saying "media doesn't affect your behavior; no one's that stupid," have you seen the internet? Are you not here on this website? Have you heard of Hallyu? The Korean Government knows how much media affects people's beliefs and behaviours. They built their entire trillion-dollar economy on it.
If you are suicidal and see someone else's suicidal behavior talked about like this, you're going to be horrified. You're going to take this as more evidence that if you tell people they won't take you seriously. Also, this is Korea, one of the countries with the highest suicide rate in the world. If you think about it, it's absolutely f-cked up that they treat suicide like this. "Oh, suicide, it's a part of life. Let's pretend she didn't say anything. Everyone's a bit suicidal these days, etc."
For - using gayness as a joke was very off-putting. Each time someone accused the brother or father of being gay for the other, they both reacted like it was the end of the world (Maybe that's what the ultra-devout Christians want us to believe, so what, you want to forward their agenda) You couldn't just leave it at a friend being overprotective of a friend/family member they are afraid for? You had to say that that much affection and protectiveness between or shown by a man must mean he's gay!?!?! Wow. Just Wow. I know it's a plot device, but please. This is only a stairway landing up from killing the gays - yay, we made it into the 20th century, now let's just make fun of gay people and use them to excuse away too much male sentimentality. wow.

The Best Drama I’ve Watched This Year

It was so good, top-tier acting had me crying so much. I love time travel stories in general but this was actually a coming of age drama. EG got to learn about his parent’s pain in the past as well as their strength. His love-line with EO was also so cute! SPOILER



I love that even though its not explicitly said, YC remembers EG from the past. The other members of the band feeling that EG looks familiar while YC’s adult actor has a proud and reminiscent smile says so much! I just wish EG could have seen it! My only problem is that I wanted to see more of their life in the future as well as EO confronting her parents, but I will leave that up to my imagination.

Refreshing slice of life.

Have been watching k-dramas which turned to be k-traumas so was a bit skeptical about it and also because of an overused trope but gave it go and boy was I hooked!

After Crash Course in Romance I honestly didn't find anything that caught my interest. But this! It exceeded my expectations in the most beautiful way. Its refreshing, soothing, heartfelt, crisp and all kinds of feelings rolled into one.

The chemistry between Yichan, Chung ah and Eun gyeol is some kind of wonderful and you feel their hapiness, frustration, sadness and humor with them. The character development of almost all the characters is layered thoughtfully.

The interactions between Eun gyeol and Yi Chan leave you in splits while those between Chung ah and Eun gyeol leave you feeling happy.

Its extremely well written, has good music which was needed here, the acting is excellent.

You feel the emotions of each and every actor here. It has high rewatch value, atleast for me and it certainly has become my comfort drama.

It is worth the watch and will certainly leave you feeling happy and calm. Do give it a watch, you won't regret. This is the kind of a drama that everyone can get something from that matters to self. It indeed sparkles.

okay y'all , ✨ MASTERPIECE ✨ theirs actings music and colouring is perfect . every episode i watched i crying ngl , this is PERFECT for me . thank you for the rollercoaster ride . im crying , laughing , madge and crying again 💜 . hope we can get season 2 if is possible :) the story of eun yu really breaks me . her character is so relatetable is hit me home , ify girl , im happy now she happy . im proud of you girl! 💜😭 . also why i can't submit my review yet omg please . uhm i really recommend it guys . i waiting every week for this drama and i'm not disappointed by it . it worth for waited , this is not spoiler but at end episode 15 and 16 REALLY BROKE ME .
