No brainer impression, but that's not the case
I don't get why nobody's doing justice to this series ? it was actually quite entertaining but the amount of negative remarks gives off the impression that the show was a no brainer. I was waiting for this to come for so long, i had it on my plan to watch way before the show was even out and i was really excited to watch it the moment it's out but i felt like waiting for it to end so i can binge watch. But when i came back i saw all these negative remarks about the ending and also about how the show was a no brainer that i just kept putting it off to watch later but yesterday i wanted to give it a try at last. I was trying to finish the series on my plan to watch and so i ending up finished the series in less than a day. Here's what i genuinely want to say:
- The plot twists were plot twisting
- The storyline is NOT weak as other reviews make it out to be. Yes, the character backstories weren't explained in depth but only shown as glimpses and something that was implied (understanding from the situations) and I don't think I'd blame them for that because they were probably trying to make us live in the moment by using only one location mostly throughout the series. Showing an entire backstory detail to detail would have taken our mind off of the current situation and the MAIN focus of the series (the game) and it wouldn't make the game go in the flow.
- the ending is unhappy yes but unhappy in the sense, not a poor thought ending but an ending were the characters aren't happy WHICH makes the viewers unhappy.
- I saw some reviews and thought that some viewers just skipped through the series because there weren't any parts that wasn't completely left blank to the audience just a few things that the audience themselves have to figure out and it really isn't something that has to be spelled out for us to understand.
- about how the games rules work now listen like im pretty sure even the players weren't sure abt how the game works bc they only found out the rules as they played through the game. Like they only thought of killing everyone AFTER they got both the mental strength to do that and also after the incident with the death of the doctor. And it's not like they all had the intension to kill anyone literally right after they got in the game lol they were literally trying to process everything. Then after a few nights they start to adapt to this whole killing and dying thing and so they finally becomes ruthless as the episode goes.
i might've missed more things but that's not the point i want to make. The point i want to make is if you're one of those who are debating whether to watch or not I'd say go for it bc personally i felt that this series it misunderstood to be really badly executed. Ofc i wouldn't say this is the best way it could've been executed bc you never know how much better it could've been done but nevertheless this is still good enough. ^^
ps. i don't rewatch anything and so i didn't want to put a rewatch value so don't mind that.

A K-drama that compelled me to write a comment, review after a long time!
In a series where a group of students find themselves forced to play games for survival, maintaining mystery and tension is crucial and I believe "Night Has Come" accomplishes this very well! While understanding the characters in the series can be challenging at times, I think the show has a great flow. The excitement continues in every episode, successfully keeping viewers hooked.
The cast, especially Kim Wooseok, does a commendable job, and even the performances of rookie actors don't disappoint.
My favorite aspect of the series is its ability to maintain suspense and mystery in each episode. You suspect someone, and in the next episode, it turns out they are innocent, It keeps your curiosity alive.
If you enjoy mystery, tension, and horror, I think you might want to give this series a chance.
And if you would like to read more detailed review, I would be so happy to have you in my website!

It is enjoyable!
A lot of flaws in this series in pretty much everything (plot, cinematography, music, performances and so on) but still very enjoyable. The concept is one to be stolen because it is actually good. I repeat that it is very enjoyable cause as for myself, it got me going until now and I wil prolly watch the last episode. But of course, all characters are a bit cliches and can (to me) be a reason enough to drop the series half way. I can also say that in a way it’s a bit long. Episodes are only 35 (idk exactly) minutes and a lot of scenes could be cut out to get a more intense or “normal” rythm and get straight to the point.
Then the list of flaws is long but not going to spend more time of it.

VERY GOOD DRAMA
This drama had me in a shockhold sooo many times. From the beging where they left to go there and the little small details just like the other buss. When they all got he game on their phone and thought it was a stupid game but it was survive or dead. The acting was incredible for every actor. I have seen dramas like this before, going to be honest ofcourse they were also good but this was was just a very good one. And also I didn't think that I was going to be that into it like I was. EVERY episode 1-12 was intresting, and the twists were just jaw dropping EVERY TIME. Was hooked just by the very first episode.Opinion on the story and genres:
For the little romance this drama had I did love it because it had a little romance. Going to be honets im not a huge romance person but it was like the little romance between some character, most specific for Yoon-seo and Jun hee was just chef kiss. I SUFFERD when he was voted out and she for real dragged him out of the swimming pool to hold him... I loved it it was everything and I CRIED. They cared so much about each other it was just everything.
For the story more inporticular I liked it. Thriller is just top in kdramas for me and this had everything I could ask for, in a highschool thriller. Also what is a kdrama thriller without people you just hate? Kim so mi was just not it, lived for her visuals for real but her character I did that much but a kdrama has to have that person.
People may think that the story line with mafias and a game is like out dated or like "we have too many of them already" like no the story is just everything. And a story I myself never can get tired from watching if it's a good drama. But not my favorite.
And spoiler alert the ending has me jaw dropping omg I can't belive it ended just like that. That Jung won was just there and Se euns parents were like the creator of all his. That was a big plot twist it was amazing and I did not excpect that. All the plot twists in this series was just amazing. When you least excpect something to happend it just happend and it was just like omg what happend just now. And all the other plot twists was just the same. Having to wait a week from one epiosde to another was a big crime. But the ending fellt so rushed. When her parents showed up I was so confused because Se eun weren't talked about that much before. It was confusing with that end also very confusing if they played it times before like I did not understand anything of that. So that was a little bit dispointing from what the overall drama looked like I think it was a kinda bad ending. Also it made NO SENSE how two people can kidnap all of them and put them in a kinda lab? Like what? How the hell did that work? Just everything with them going on a bus in the beging like was that even real? What was even real? The ending were Jung won was were that real? Like no what? And is Jung won a real person? I really don't get that part at all actully. There are so many questions that I would like to be answered right now.
Actors/cast and visual:
LIke I mentioned I loved the actors. I think I have just seen one of them before, which is Cha Woo min, an amazing actor. Both from "the tasty Florida" and for his geuts character in "Weak hero class 1". His acting did deliver all times. For the other actors I have founded new favorites. I have to mention Lee Jae min, WOW. I haven't seen her before but omg she fucking killed that character she was amazing with all the emontions and played a perfect main role. In the series as Yoon-seo she was my favorite charcter I LOVED her. She played sooo well and her visual is not a joke. Also Kim Woo seok played soooo well. This last episode just when he had Yoon-seo in his arms OMG it all fellt tooooo real, loved his cating and when he said he was the mafia and everyone voted him out it was just so yes. Overall the cast was such a nice choice and it was the best for this drama.
Production:
On production this series was so good. When someone got voted out for the first time it was just so real. And it was just all so perfect in the production way. When they were smashing their head towards each other my only thought was just like "don't show too much now" it was perfect for the horror feeling. It's a drama with very good production and a drama that seemed so real at some parts. It's not the best production but it it I didn't really feel like anything for the production side were missing.
For any misses for this series it's the end. It was a miss and a very rushed ending. Kinda felt dispointing with that ending were the rest of the series was just that good. I did not like think that the ending was going to be a happy ending but I thought better then that.
6/10 for rewatch value it's because I think I wouln't really watch rewatch it in a week or two, because I feel like it's not that kinda drama that I would enjoy rewatching agian and agian. Feel like it's not going to get a seon 2 but I feel like a season 2 wouldn't change the story to what it ended like here cause it was just confusing. But I also feel like it's a need to know how the ending happend cause wtf?
OVERALL a very good horror/thriller series. So I would recommend it. Just an easy 9/10 kdrama. -1 just for the ending if it didn't end like that I would deff give it a 10/10.

Simple filmography but a good and exciting story
I saw a lot of people saying bad things about the final episode, but actually, the final was expected and for me, in a good way, because give exactly what I want, someone behind all this obviously looking for the revenge. The drama looks like was not so expensive because all the episodes are in a school, and the directors and the team knowed how to enjoy this. The plot, even massive, is what the public like to see, people fighting and playing for their lifes. Also have a lot of similarity with Alice in Borderland, another serie that called the attention.
I loved the new and young actors acting in this serie, I really want to see new works from them, especially the main characters.

But if you love Aouad, Das, Aib and Sgame then this drama is exactly the one for you.
The only bad thing I will say about this drama is I kinda got traumatized with the choice of the music, I can’t really see another high school drama with the same music choice without thinking about night has come. Aka the school bell ??But otherwise I don’t have any bad to say about the show.
The story will keep you thinking from start to the end. make you wonder, love and hate different characters.
Because I have seen some similar dramas I could predict some of the plot twist but HOW they became to be or HOW the series showed us the plot twist was different from what I thought they’d be, so that was entertaining itself.
I watch this show while it aired from 1-4 and waited till every episode dropped. it was nerve wrecking to wait for episodes to come out and I envy a lot of people who can binge watch in one sitting.
The actors did a FANTASTIC and excellent acting ? in this series, especially Cha Woo Min who plays Kyungjun ~ either you really came to love his character Kyungjun or you came to really hate his character. No in between ?
and
Ahn Ji Ho who plays Jin Da Beom. He was so talented, him in the later episodes, I could feel the emotion.
In my opinion, you’re allowed to disagree, I think Kyungjun carried the first half of the series and Da Beom carried the last half of the series.
I was mesmerized by Woo mins acting and hurried to watch what else he acts in, they’re both young so I was surprised when I found out I’ve seen both before ~ Ahn Ji ho in All of us are dead and Cha Woo Min in Weak hero class 1.
The female lead, Lee Jae in did an amazing performance. I’ve seen her in Racket Boys where I fell in love with her acting, and she’s so young too, only 19.
I’m not familiar with many of the rest of cast but I can’t wait for what new projects they get. They all did a good performance.
All I can say is I loved this series, it was just what I needed while waiting for season 2 of All of us are dead, and can’t wait to the 2nd season of this one when it drops someday.
Hopefully soon they’ll announce ? a 2nd season ?
Some ?SPOILER? and theories down below ?????????????
Have you seen Weak hero class 1?
As we all know Weak hero class 1 first season is a flashback/ prologue to the WEBTOON and it starts up in the WEBTOON where Seiun is at the school in the end in episode 8.
Maybe this, Night has come, series is similar to above. They rushed the story, didn’t flesh out some characters or plot cuz they’re doing it in season 2, this season is meant for us to just get to know the characters ~ to get a feeling of how they’re are or are supposed to be like. For an example, ~ Kyungjun, he didn’t get a redemption arc or anything, that could he get in season 2, and the same with the mafias, none of them was fleshed out except Da Beom a little.
With the civilians not doing anything, they could show improvement in season 2 cuz we already know they didn’t do well in this game.
With the ghost thing, that’s implied as just a bug or them remembering something they don’t know ~ they got their memory erased so they didn’t remember Se eun ~ and that scary so that could be an answer for you.
also every flashback Fl had could be answered as her slowly getting her memories back, both from previous games and from real life outside the game.
For your question ~ why the parents erase the kids memories ~ can be answered as if they know who is mafia ~ we’re going from the assumption that every game is mafia ~ then in next game they 1) know who to not/ who to trust, 2) if they knew they weren’t dying irl they would really care who’s mafia or even want to play the game/care if they died, 3) they’d easily ~ all civilians ~ keep wining cuz they already know who’s mafia + 4) if they know it was all about Se eun they’d just put 2+2 together like Kyungjun did with Woo ram, camera guy, and the girl he killed.
And the ending does lead up to a 2nd season with all the unsolved questions it gave us, it feels more of an introduction of the characters, rules + plot etc. and every weird happening from earlier episodes like the one where Kyungjun got up 2nd time could be explained as a glitch in the game. We also do not know a whole lot of what the characters did in between the day ~ they woke up, talked or fought a little and then all met up at 11 at night before voting and then they showed a little of the mafia at night towards the end. What did they do in between, just counted their thumbs?
They could show us a different version or what they did, in 2nd season they could flesh out more of the characters course you already know them or flesh out the game more course you already know the rules and what could happen etc.
If any have anything to add or their own explanation or theories, please feel free to comment :3 I’d love to hear your thoughts.
Like this if you like myself pray for a 2nd Season ?????????????

Night Has Come: a thrilling mystery
Night Has Come has a brilliant cast and unique storyline. The beginning was off to a great start and sets up the entire story to a high standard. The first half of the show was intense and enticing, it pulls you in, and leaves you in suspense, wanting to watch more. The second half of the show is equally disappointing. The story was eccentric but the execution was subpar. There were a lot of plot holes and storylines that led no where. To start off, I really liked the location chosen and how they set up the surroundings. the initial building was thrilling, even scary to a point. The lighting , alarm and music really set the tone, I especially loved the music they used for midnight when the citizens slept. Yet, with each episode the story starts going downhill. The behavior of the characters weren't consistent either. I also don't like how they gave both Jun Hee and Yoon Seo holier-than-thou personalities. It basically chipped away at their personality. The ratio between citizens and mafia was quite high, yet the mafia team played them like a fiddle.
At one point, I was hoping for the mafia to win, because it seemed like they were the only ones using their brains in the game.
I also didn't like how the citizens were portrayed as innocent and the mafia as the criminals when both parties were choosing to kill someone, both of them didn't have a choice, it was either kill or be killed.
I also wondered about the whole supernatural sub plot going on, even though it led to nowhere.
The ending was the biggest let down, with it being left open ended and with a lot of questions being left unanswered.
• How did they kidnap all the students? where did all this high tech equipment come from? If her parents were so good at tech why didn't they delete Se Eun's video or tracked it down to who recorded it and report it to the police? Why torture all the innocent students?
• If Jung Won is just a code, how did she gain her own consciousness? why did she only help Jun Hee and Yoon Seo and not the others?
• What was the point of leading the boundary up to the hill? just to set the tone? but there was no significant or logical reason to do so.
• why introduce the storyline of the ghost and then drop it mid way?
• Who took Yoon Seo to the parallel world when she fell through the floor? if it was Jung Won, how did she do it and why? If it was the parents, why would they do that?
• Who were the other students from different schools they showed in the journal Yoon Seo found? was it just for show?
• How long will this thing actually last? At one point the parents will start looking for their kids and get the police involved, won't they get caught eventually?
• is it even revenge if the students memory just get wiped out and they restart again and again?
I was so interested in why Se Eun was dead and whether it was actually some murder behind the scenes but the story revealed was also mediocre at best. The video looked so obviously photoshopped, who in this day and age in high school can't tell fake videos apart.
The saving grace of the show was the acting of the cast, special mention to the actors of Jin Da Beom and Go Kyung Jun.

masterpiece.
I binged this kdrama and it was so worth it. there were no boring episodes and they chose the perfect people for each role. many people have been dissatisfied with the ending, but personally, I actually liked the ending. It wasn‘t something I expected, but it isn‘t that bad like people say it is. I definitely want a season 2 and it has also been revealed that season 2 will be coming which I‘m very happy about because many things haven‘t been explained well and some things are still left open. imo best kdrama of 2023, I could literally rewatch it every day. love it so muchQuesta recensione ti è stata utile?

Had potential
This drama caught my eye in beginning the storyline line was really good and had potential on being a big hit.My theory was that one of the kid that got bullied set the game up to punish the bullies and it was just to scare them.
I didn’t get the point of killing the innocent people that did noting but I got the moms reasoning too, no one in her classes tried
To help nor stop the bullying.
The two bullies Kim So Mi and Go Kyung Jun lived on for too long for my liking I literally wanted to punch the mafia bully in the face everytime she came on screen. Her gaslighting everyone and them not thinking for themselves was soo annoying. I don’t know what it is with korean student in dramas they always have attitude and leave and bitter taste in my mouth.
What a disappointing ending omg it does leave room for theories but I don’t think there would be a season 2 unless they play the game again but that would make sense because Lee yoon seo knows about everything and it has bad ratings.
But over all I would’ve gave it a higher rating his the last 2 episodes didn’t go the way that it did I’m disappointed.
