I always had a suspicion the feeling Syaon has for Doha is more complicated than it looks. She sees Doha as the only reason she should sing. Singing in her life, and therefore, if Doha is not hers, she'll lose a significant part of her life. We know that's not true. Solhee identified that Syaon lied when she said she wanted to die because Doha was with another woman. Syaon knew she could live just fine. She really needs to get help. Real help. I sympathise with her and the things she's been through. In the previous episode, the CEO reminded Syaon about her diet, and I wish he discouraged her from her unhealthy diet. I want her to find happiness. She should learn to love herself and understand that she's capable of doing anything on her own. Also, she'll live just fine as a singer whose songs are written by Doha. I was worried Solhee's ex would get in between her and Doha, but he knows his place. He didn't ask any questions after Doha came to Solhee's rescue and left them alone. For sure, he'll get in between them in the future when he realises Doha is the primary suspect for the Hakcheon Beach case. I didn't expect the ending at all. Doha said he didn't kill his ex, but Solhee's gift is telling her that Doha's claim is a lie. I still believe he's innocent. There must be a weakness in Solhee's gift or a grey area in how it works. Maybe it detected Doha's claim as a lie because deep inside, Doha thinks he's the reason why his ex died. That doesn't mean he actually killed her. I prefer to stick with the idea that Doha is an innocent man accused of something he didn't do, lost his memories due to the pressure and abuse he faced in the case, and now he has to live with the trauma and nonstop harassment until the day the truth comes out.
This episode literally ate so hard. We started off with a funny/light atmosphere but managed to learn a little more about the main leads and their traumas in a way that really touches your heart. I swear I was on the edge of my seat, biting my nails at the end of the episode.
