absolutely perfect
this dramas plot is carved out beautifully- twists and turns every episode, it leads you through a maze of who killed who, who’s the newest police suspect and what really happened with park wonseok. but said maze reaches a finalised conclusion that isn’t consumed with heartbreak and doesn’t leave loose ends hanging about. even when you think the murderer is obvious or the results is predictable, this drama finds a way to throw a spanner in the works and prove you wrong time and time again- this drama is a whodunnit, tinted with school life, drama and a slither of romance- i highly recommend you watch this, it’s a great binge!Questa recensione ti è stata utile?

Disappointed but not surprised
I started watching this with very low expectations as high school thriller dramas are often written so poorly, Regardless, ended up hooked to the point I was surprised as to why the show didn’t sucked. It’s not what i signed up for. Which was a shitty high school drama where teenagers just do whatever they want and the adults are non existent. But by episode 10 everything went down the drain. You get Hooked from the very beginning and it distracts you from all the inconsistencies. I am a bit disappointed given that this drama had so much potential to be great.I’m surprised sooheon was still alive by the last episode with the amount of times he fainted and got hit on the head.
I think by ep 10 I was over Ok Chanmi’s character. She changed so much, but her basically exorcising jaejoong out of jaebeom’s body was just shameless writing. How can she forgive Jaebeom so easily just because he was nice person? When she literally shot Sooheon when she believe him the culprit? It’s just seems so out of character for her. I mean she said she take the culprit to the mountains and killed them herself but suddenly she’s Mother Ok Theresa.
After a while you start to notice how every single thing that happens had a sole purpose and it gets so annoying. Ajung being pregnant white hair girl “going away” and finding jaebeom at the port jaebeom mother going into the ICU so he needed money somehow jaebeom and Chan I reaching jaebeom on time before being exposed of being the hero. Like everything was just too purposefully written like those OP characters that get specific powers for every villain. To the point is just annoying.
Up to ep 9 my rating was 10 then it progressively went down. I am quite disappointed in the ending. Still I’m grateful for the ride at the beginning which was quite fun. I guess i got exactly what I signed up for at the beginning of this drama.

Highschool bullies type troupe
Dec. 18, 2022Revenge of Others had a strong start but after the halfway troupe it regresses in terms of plot and writing. Likewise, I do have strong praise for the casts as they acted and put justice for their characters.
I feel like it is due to the fact that I watched more action-infused dramas and movies in the last few months more than usual that’s why I am a little harsher on my critique. Nevertheless, I do think that 12 episodes were sufficient though the ending seems rushed and concluded with many plot holes. Episode 12 was definitely the hardest episode to finish from the series.
Overall, I definitely have strong mixed opinions with the drama.
TLDR: Above average but not the best (in terms of plot progression and writing wise) highschool bullies x revenge troupe kdrama

watched weekly as it came out
when i first watched this i actually binged the first 4 eps in one day and it started off super strong, loving the progression of the characters and it was overall very exciting and drama inducing to watch. tho this drama can get very physical and bloody, it does bring awareness to the realistic situations that can happen due to bullying and harassment. i wouldn’t say romance is a big genre in this drama but the amazing chemistry between the main leads was too good to miss out on and (spoiler) the no kiss at the end was not as disappointing as i would have hoped but the ending for them was enough💗. overall the majority of the cast was really good and the acting was on point all throughout the 12 eps. now onto the plotwists:gi osung was very clearly involved somewhat in one of the incidents (which was kind of obvious for me at least) but for jaebeom to have killed chanmi’s brother was kind of shocking to me! as well as when osung fell from the school room after fighting with soohyeon - totally unexpected. maybe this was just me but the last two eps felt slightly rushed in trying to just wrap up all the chaos and mystery going on and in my opinion it would have been better to unsolve some of those mysteries in eps 10. other than that some tiny unresolved holes were here and there but we obviously can’t expect a 100% perfect show. loved the dynamics and hope the actors have great shows coming soon! music was also a bonus🤞🏼

Revenge Drama Gone in A Wrong Way
And here I thought that most revenge dramas would be thrilling and suspenseful. I was wrong! I felt from the first episode, this drama has potential and all. I slept through episodes 9 to 11. I woke up to the last episode. I just thought that is everyone in SK being bullied in senior year? Is this how it is in this country? And why aren't people reporting all these to the police? Is the police force not trustworthy? Not to mention, multiple personality disorder? Although I didn't expect another plot twist by introducing BL in the story. Although I have a pretty strong hunch that there is something of that nature along with the mystery of what Gi Oh Sung saw knew that happened in that room.
By far, the lowest rating I have given to a Korean drama that I have watched and reviewed. This drama was okay but I'm sure not the worst.

Kept Me Guessing
I genuinely couldn't decide on the culprit almost the whole way through. Maybe that's just me and it went right over my head. I usually find it quite easy to guess whodunnit but not this time; I was changing my mind constantly. Because of that, I enjoyed this one immensely. The acting was solid and I felt engaged for the entire thing.Revenge stories can sometimes bother me because I can't always put myself in the headspace of a person who would choose to 'get even' because I ultimately see it as pointless BUT this show was fun to watch because of all the twists and turns. It also didn't feel as difficult to get into that headspace this time because of the people involved all being students and peers. Some parts might be a bit too violent for some viewers but if you're okay with that, then I'd recommend this in a heartbeat.

binged in a day … 1.5x speed
hello i binged this all in one day😭😭i am sick😭so i did🙏🙏 pretty good! I LOVEEE the cast. jaebum and eunsoo’s character love!!!!!! ok this was pretty mysterious i didn’t know that jaebum would’ve been the murderer but i don’t like how osung just got away with it. like he just died in the end but nothing else happened bro. but how all the friends covered for the main guy😭😭that part was good tbh. ugh i wish there were more romance scenes. plus the main guys tumor did not need to be a main part… that was really excessive… but pretty okQuesta recensione ti è stata utile?
Excellent Drama
I just finished the drama. This is an excellent suspense drama, which does not have a single moment of calm and quiet. In many moments of anxiety I gnawed my nails, during the various episodes. All the actors play extremely well, the plot is fascinating and keeps us on the edge in our seats. The plot is full of twists and turns and also surprises.
Standing out from all the actors is the main actor: Lomon, who is absolutely a real sweet candy and I hope to see more dramas in which he is the main star.
I highly recommend watching this drama.

The Blood Hounds of Yongtan High
Omo! Omo! Omo!Does this really happen in South Korean High Schools? How can so much violence exist in High School?
Mind you, I'm writing this from the UK so I'm pretty shocked. Not sure if this much violence happens here too.
BUT, I enjoyed this drama and literally, binged watched it over two days. I was hooked from the get-go because I liked the actors.
The story as I've said was a bit too far-fetched for me.
I love that dramas are kept shorter than 16 episodes, but it would have been good to find out how self-righteous Sooheon handled the fact that he had inadvertently killed someone instead of having everyone hail him as a hero and gloss over it and, how Jaejoon/Jaebum's split personality affected his case. There were other parts that could have been better and added to the drama, but I guess it suffered because of its length.
I would recommend it if you can stomach the violence. I came here after Weak Hero Class 1, and I'm not sure how much more teenage violence I can take.

A thrilling ride with a disappointing end
I throughly enjoyed the show at some point while it was airing I was convinced it would end up being on my favorites list. My expectations were exceedingly high. The show maintains being suspenseful and thrilling the whole way through.I was watching it at a time where watching Kdramas felt a bit like a chore and I was in a slump but once staring revenge of others I was on the edge of my seat for every episode and it just brought back feelings I got when I first started watching kdramas.
The main characters were not only well written and likable, they also had amazing chemistry which just made the drama even more enjoyable. The side characters were also well written and complex, the first several episodes had set such a high standard for me in terms of the writing that I expected the side characters arcs to all contribute to the main mystery and finale but most of them were abandoned. I felt like some of the side characters, namely the girls were severally underutilized.
Once again I had thought so highly of the writing that I over analyzed certain plot points and expected them to all be resolved or contribute to the overall mystery only for them to be hastily explained or be completely deserted. This left the show with several plot holes and I think this is one of those rare times were a drama seriously should’ve just gotten more episodes then they may have been able to resolve all the unanswered questions and plot holes.
Overall I’d say give it a watch, I sincerely loved and enjoyed the journey of watching the drama even if the ending kinda put a damper on it for me. You may like the ending more than I did so it’s worth trying out
I still have more to stay so **SPOILERS DOWN BELOW**
This is completely my personal opinion on this but I was absolutely dreading the DID storyline with Jaebum which I’m sure I and many others saw coming a mile away. Having done done a lot of research on DID, I’ve always disliked how often it was used as a plot device in thrillers, the shock value really has worn out on this trope and it just feels cheap to use it in this way where there’s no nuance and research done. Jaebums DID felt like it was used to make a quick simple “plot twist” if they were going this route I just wished they would’ve done it with more care, this is a real life disorder after all.
I honestly would’ve loved it if it was one of the girls were the actual murders, Ajun’s pregnancy led to absolutely nowhere when it honestly could’ve been used in several ways to contribute to the plot. The fact that it didn’t made me wonder what was the point of having it in the first place.
Also I was genuinely shocked and kinda disappointed that Gi Osung didn’t have feelings for Jaebum, his jealous comments seriously made me believe this was the route they would go and it would’ve made so much sense?
Oh and I expected more would’ve been done with ML’s brain tumor I mean I’m glad we got a happy ending but still I wish the ending would’ve elaborated more on his condition and his future.

Why did I keep watching, you ask? The show did a good job of building suspense, and the cast was excellent. Lomon's acting really stood out, and Ji Soo Heon is a character you won't want to give up on.
Some of the events in the last two episodes felt like they came out of nowhere and just didn't make sense. But it was only 12 episodes so I have no regrets.
