Love Around Episode 2 Reazioni
I've got to say that the cliché are bothering me even if I try my best to look away. I still like the fact that the male lead is a nice character though.
I like Zhou Zhen's family; it's like everyone is afraid of him and trying to follow his rules. But I don't like Xiao Shu's family. Apparently conflicts will come since Zhou Zhen's father was behind Xia Shu's brother's death so that difficult father of hers will create a lot of troubles.
There's also Ying Yin who had her first cheesy encounter with Gao Zhe Xuan. I am sure things will develop between them later.

really good main leads and a possibly interesting story, but sadly an episode filled with silly cliches.

Love Around seems to rely on the main couple's chemistry, but will that work in the long term? We needed a plot hook this episode, and we didn't get one... despite being promised the shades of conflicts to come. If this drama wants to stay afloat, we'll need a bit more.
It was still a fun episode, but mostly during the scenes between Annie Chen and George Hu. Many supporting cast members had me cringing, especially Zhou Zhen's family during the hospital sequence. I could do with a lot less of them in the future, but I won't hold my breath. Xiao Shu's family, on the other hand, has potential...especially in the tragic history they seem to have experienced.
