Road Home (2023)

ML is a part of special forces that protects the country and often has to leave on confidential secret missions. ML and FL have to overcome their difference in profession, lifestyle and family.

May not be too similar Road Home but ML and FML had history of youth first encounter then separated later, then in their adult life became professionals and fell in love. I liked their love in this drama, one a doctor and the other is a lawyer.

Since there is military drama and romance in the air we are apprehensive watching it as we know deep down that we will like and become attached to the characters. 'My dear Guardian' is no different. I hope that by watching you find peace and balance in your emotions and try to calm your inner self by understanding the message that the plot wants to convey. It's a beautiful drama and my favorite to date.

Both dramas have male leads with a risky job, and both dramas have a very supportive and understanding female lead.

This romance is set in part in Xinjiang around Kanas Lake and Hemu village, close to Altai and features glimpses of the various people who live there. Some parts are shot in other spectacular desert areas of the province.
The romance is about found-again love after a long separation ; both have their own very different jobs but despite the hurdles and separations due to work and responsibilities, they find the way to each other's heart. ML is Jing Boran and FL is Seven Tan Songyun.

- In "Road Home", the ML does know the FL during childhood, while in "A Romance of the Little Forest" they do not
- In "A Romance of the Little Forest", the themes are fashion and university, while "Road Home" is more about the police force and the work area.
- "Road Home" is a melodrama romance, while "A Romance of the Little Forest" is more comedy romance
- "A Romance of the Little Forest" is a slow-burn romance, while "Road Home" has a passionate and fast romance

Both have a hero on the frontlines who is quietly commanding and protective. Both feature a forbidden/taboo aspect to the relationship. Both feature abusive and difficult family members.

The production values, creativity and themes are much better in Crash Landing on You, but in terms of chemistry and physical ease I'd actually say Road Home has the edge.

Road Home has the typical slowdown/lack of conflict at the 2/3s mark, but Crash Landing on You is strong until the end.

Both are about childhood friends turned lovers
Dramas have feel-good vibes and the leads have great chemistry.
Soundtrack #1 shows an unrequited love that blossoms when the leads are adults, yet road home both leads fall in love with each other since their school days

Both have winter settings with melo and calming feels. The main couple also met in highschool, then separated and reunited again.

One is a movie and the other one is a drama.
Both are about past lovers who meet each other again when they become adults.
The ML in both is Jing Bo Ran.
The leads in both have great chemistry.
Road home is a feel-good romantic drama, yet Us and Them is a bit darker and shows the different paths the young lovers choose.

I just like couple centred shows. This one is slow and couple centred. Although FE has outside angst but ML/FL never wavered.

The slow burn drama and no misunderstanding except for early episodes of the drama.. And also the ml both is so green flag..

Both dramas are about first love in high school days.
The leads are separated due to some complications in their lives and are reunited years later as adults, yet they have many unresolved issues during their relationship.
The leads both have had a somewhat problematic adolescence that lead to their breakup eventually.
In both dramas, the leads reconcile as adults and still love each other.
