EL MEJOR BL QUE EXISTE

Vale, voy a intentar ser objetivo,pero es difícil jajaja.

La serie tiene sus fallos, como todas las series, es normal, pero lo suple de una forma magistral. Fue la primera serie de BL que vi y desde entonces he visto muchísimas más y ninguna se le compara.

En cuanto a trama, aún teniendo clichés, como todas, mete el punto mágico que aporta mucba frescura y la diferencia de las demás, sin llegar a ser ciencia ficción.

Los personajes, en particular Adachi, está muy bien desarrollado, y va aprendiendo y evolucionando conforme avanza la trama, hecho que se agradece, sin olvidar que es súper gracioso y lindo de ver. Al final con este personaje consiguen un balance entre humor y romanticismo que otras no consiguen.

También me gusta mucho que desarrollan a los personajes secundarios, tanto la trama secundaria como a algunos personales de fondo, que se ven involucrados en la trama, y eso le da mucho volumen a la trama .

Como crítica, podría decir que Kurosawa a veces resulta demasiado perfecto, e intentan darle una explicación a ello pero se ve forzada, y sobre todo al principio, resulta algo escalofriante, pero no empaña la serie para nada.

La escenografía es muy agradable, se ve cuidada, los recursos de cámara que usan acompañan a la trama bien.

Y al fin y al cabo, aunque la historia en si es sencilla,a trama tiene presentación, nudo y desenlace bien definidos y creíbles , y todo esto en una serie de 12 capítulos , que hay otras que no lo consiguen.

La recomiendo al 1.000% . Si buscáis algo puro, bonito e inocente, es vuestra serie ^_^

A great fluufly BL to watch no matter what your mood is

I really like this drama very much, and everything about it. The writing, acting, direction, sound team - everyone did such a great job on this production.
I generally like fluffy BLs very much so, I was very engaged throughout the series. It was always such a pain, to leave an episode and wait for the next 10 hours for the sun to rise again in my world to complete it. As i am someone who prefers watching characters with too much love and too good communication lines, this series was such a treat.
There isnt much drama in this series as one would expect in a BL, i mean, at the very least, there should have been a crazy ex or a housewrecker to act as a catalyst to strengthen the relationship. But this series had none of the usual I-dont-have-much-creativity-so-I-am-gonna-use-some-basic-drama-templates shit that i usually encounter. the characters relied completely on their own communication, feelings and trust they had for each other to build their relationship to the big castle it is at the end.

I especially like kurosawa in this series, and the actor, who has managed to beautifully walk the line between a passionate boyfriend and an understanding one, which I dont think is a very easy thing to do... I also like how adachi always manages to take kurosawa's feelings into consideration even though he very clearly is very nervous, scared and frightened by the fact that he is in a relationship.
even though i can go on and on about them forever, i think that the bottom line is that its a great show, and i love it :)

Their flag is so green that it can stop global warming

30 year old virgin, Adachi is having a panic attack because suddenly he can hear other people mind. that's how he find out that his co-worker Kurosawa has a crush on him.

The story is captivating. I appreciate how it deviates from the typical "office-affair" narrative, featuring two contrasting individuals with mutual attraction. The infusion of the "30-year-old virgin magic" adds an imaginative element, enriching the story with vibrant hues. However, the fictional aspect does not overshadow the realistic portrayal of relationships. Both characters evolve in tandem, and the "magic" serves to amplify their realization that true enchantment lies within their feelings for each other.

Both actors deliver exceptional performances in their respective roles. Machida Keita, portraying the character Kurosawa Yuichi, embodies the good-looking, capable, and kind-hearted nature of his character with perfection. Similarly, Akaso Eiji, in the role of Adachi Kiyoshi, effectively portrays a shy and low self-esteem character, leaving a lasting impression on the audience. Eiji's emotional performance, particularly in one of the episodes where he cried, moved me to tears and left a profound impact with his heartfelt portrayal that words cannot fully describe.

In terms of production, I appreciate the diverse range of settings utilized in the show. It's evident that the production team put considerable thought into this aspect. The framing also effectively complements the overall atmosphere of the story. However, I do wish there was an editing technique that could more explicitly convey to the audience when Adachi is reading other people's minds, as I occasionally missed these moments and had to rewatch certain scenes.

as for the OST i have a very selfish opinion. it's good but it doesn't make me go instantly to spotify to look for it and add the song to my favorite list. However the music in the background that accompanying the scenes is good. very contributing in the feeling of the scenes.

Rewatch value 10, even the thought of rewatching this makes me giddy :)

Overall this drama is very good BL and i really support it

ok this was seriously so cute

i love Kurosawa so muchhhhhhh. he’s so gentle and sweet and i love it when he smiles! but every time he got hurt by Adachi just breaks my heart. especially when he still smile to cover his hurt and tears. AAAAAA

im so disappointed they didn’t kiss on screen, even the side couple kissed UNFAIRRRRR (also i didnt really care about the side couple haha) (i cringe)

but i do love Rokkaku, and FUJISAKI!!!!!! i LOVE UUU THAT LAST SCENE, you are so precious omg

all of the actors/actress chemistry was so goooood :”)

My fluffy babies!!!

I love reading shonen-ai, and watching this adorable manga brought to life realized that dream!! Cherry Magic is so cute, funny and makes me feels so warm inside. I really like the interactions between our main OTP, and the acting was incredible too. The main leads did a wonderful job as Adachi and Kurosawa^^!!!! Everyone who is a fan of bl must watch this cute and funny story.

Plot: Adachi is a 30-year-old man and a virgin^^. When he turns 30, he suddenly has this magical touching magic; where he can read people's minds through touch. Of course, he later came to know that the hot #1 best worker at his company is having a crush on him!!! The more Adachi realizes that Kurosawa is in love with him, the more Adachi feels the same way towards Kurosawa :). Confusion leads to something cute and fluffy.

Yes, it's a happy ending!!! :)

So Sweet So Refreshing

This was the first BL I watched and I think it was also the first Japanese drama I watched. It's safe to say I am now obsessed with both genres. This show is a breath of fresh air for me. The plot was simple, yet so interesting, you just wanted to know what was going to happen next. I loved both couples. From the description, this show seems like it would have a lot of sex in it, but it didn't which made it so good, because it didn't have to cheap out and rely on sex scenes to form a connection between the two characters. Please watch this show if you love sweet romances, interesting plots, and satisfying pacing.

The story itself feels a bit cliché when it comes to some romance dramas but the personalities and development of the characters is most interesting. The actors are extraordinarily talented you can feel every emotion perfectly in each scene. It is by far one of my favorite Japanese BL's. My only complaint is that Tsuge and Minato's story is a bit under developed and feels rushed. Really loved this show, will show it to friends and probably re-watch it many many more times! Adashi and Kurosawa's personalities really made me feel so warm and I feel like this would be a very good show to watch in the winter time all snuggled in blankies!!

A todo el que pueda verla que lo haga, no se van arrepentir!!

Acabo de terminar de ver esta serie, la verdad tenia un poco de expectativas con ellas, no me decepciono pero sentí que le falto un poco de desarrollo a los personajes de esta historia, a todos ellos. Ojo: sino me hubiera visto de maratón toda eta serie, con especiales y película incluida esa seria mi opinión final de la serie, pero como no fue el caso, debo decir que me gusto todo lo que vi.

Pero iniciemos por el principio, esta historia la narra el personaje principal un virgen de 30 años que valga la redundancia, por ser virgen obtiene un poder mágico, el cual es poder leer los pensamientos de cualquier persona a la que toque o lo toque a el. Un dia lee los pensamientos de unos de sus compañeros de trabajo y se da cuenta que su compañero esta enamorado de el, al inicio intenta esquivarlo, pero cada que lo intenta termina acercándose mas a el.

La premisa es bien divertida y a verdad la serie te saca unas lindas risas y muchos suspiros de ternura, los protagonista son una cosita divina y te dejan suspirando por mas.

La actuación es buena, aunque considero que en la serie le falta desarrollo a los personajes, siento que todo pasa rápido y no te dan una gran explicación ni de ellos ni de su entorno, creo que conozco mas de ellos por mi hermana que siempre me habla del manga, mas que por la misma serie. En especial esto lo sentí con la pareja secundaria, sentí todo en ella super acelerado y sin explicaciones, fue tipo: hoy te vi, mañana también y ya me enamore y te quedas como que acaba de pasar, apenas y hablaron y ya se aman y tienen una relación... siento que pudieron haberme dado mas de ellos (mas adelante lo hacen con un especial, pero en esta serie les falto darme mas de ellos)

Con respecto a la musica, ame el OST de esta serie, ya lo agregue a mi playlist de OST porque de verdad es muy bonito, la musica en general de esta serie es hermosa y transmite bastante, la musica va contándote todo conjunto a lo que ves.

Pero resumiendo todo, es linda la serie, te saca suspiro y sin duda los especiales y la película la completan, especialmente la película, creo que todo vale la pena por ver esa película. A todo persona que quiera verla, recuerde que es una serie cute, no tiene grandes escenas explicitas así que no entre buscando eso en la serie, porque no se lo van a dar, es bonita y encantadora.

I really liked this but...

The story felt a bit lacking if I had to be completely honest. Of course, this often happens when you condense the source material to make it easier for drama run times, so my stubborn heart refuses to review this without thinking about the manga first. I love everything about the manga and this was a faithful adaptation overall. I wish the romance between Tsuge and Minato could've been more fleshed out instead of everything falling into place at the end. Not to mention the dramatic elements like that kiss scene with Minato and his friend in front of Tsuge was a bit much for me. As well as the bar scene where Adachi was trying to hide from Kurosawa. I am not a big fan of melodrama so it's probably my pet peeve. But there are many positives about this that I cannot ignore. the casting for this was amazing, especially Adachi and Kurosawa. Their actors brought the characters to life on screen in their own way. The romantic chemistry between them was great! I could see the real KuroAda in their dynamic. The soundtrack and BGM were pretty decent and it set the mood. But now that the anime has come out, I cannot help but wish it was more like the anime adaptation with the writing and pacing. But it was pretty enjoyable nonetheless.

A Dose of Serotonin

Have you ever watched something and it was so good you wanted to erase it from your memory just so you could experience watching it for the first time all over again? This is one of only a few dramas that have made me feel that way. Never in my drama watching days has anything made me genuinely smile as much as this. I swear I was either smiling, laughing or getting a bit misty-eyed the whole time I was watching. While it is a light romance, there were also many touching moments that balanced everything out. It kept the whole thing grounded. There was really good balance of comedy, romance, and solemnity brought to life by some really loveable characters.
Adachi made me laugh out loud with his reactions and facial expressions. It was really endearing to see him grow as a person and try to come out of his shell. Kurosawa was the main reason I was smiling so much while watching. His smile is seriously contagious. He smiles with his whole being and just radiates happiness. A really talented actor that can show every emotion without uttering a word. The way he looked at Adachi made me melt into a puddle. Their relationship was so wholesome and pure. It was heart warming to see how they just brought out the best in each other. I also loved all the other characters particularly Fujisaki who was such a sweet and supportive friend.
This drama managed to stay engaging from beginning to end with zero antagonistic characters and no love triangle. It can be done! Who knew? This will be my go to re-watch drama from now on when I really need a dose of serotonin. It just made me happy.

MY FAVVV….

This is definitely one of my fav Japanese BLs…it is so cute plus the story has a unique touch to it. Most people will read the title and think that it’s cringy but it truly isn’t. The main couple is so cute and i love how they work on their communication throughout the show. The side couple is also cute but most people don’t like them (cause of the age gap). I liked the second couple though and i thought they were really cute together. Overall, it was a good show with a good plot. It wasn’t lacking at times but there was some parts were the communication was lacking (but that’s how it is for many bls). Still one of my favs and if you get time, you should watch the anime version (also really good).

Sweet BL office romance with engaging premise but failing to exploit properly its concept

The drama depicts a sweet office romance between the two male leads with a super interesting fantastic premise. The story was promising and started super light and cute. However, it missed the mark along the way as it failed to exploit properly and in a mature way their concept. It stays platonic (-which is totally fine) but given the thematic, I would have expected a bit more concrete steps in the physical part of the relationship.

The central plot stayed quite superficial with relationship conflicts feeling a bit too artificial. Given the number of episodes, I would have expected more character development and growth between the heroes in order to believe more in their couple. It is also unfortunate that the screenwriters decided to spend time on not the right side-story. Instead of focusing on the friend writer of the hero, I think they should have focus more on the office colleagues who were some pretty intriguing side-characters.

The acting was not the strongest suit of the series. I found the actors overacting quite a bit, especially for one of the secondary characters: the best friend played by Asaka Kodai. Each one of his scenes brought a high level of cringe because of his over-the-top acting. As explained above, I would have honestly preferred for his narrative arc to be removed totally from the series. Regarding the main leads, I think their performance was okay but not great. Overall, their chemistry together was lacking sparks and the very few little skinship moments felt awkward to me.

I liked the opening song of the show, it suited very well the atmosphere of the story with the pop-rock vibe and the sweet and bright generic. Other than that, the soundtrack was quite subdue and not that memorable. The production was quite standard, and it is a bit of a shame that the directing team did not make more adventurous choices to exploit further their quite "magical" concept.

I would recommend this drama if you are looking for a short and platonic BL romance in an office environment. If you liked movie such as "What Women Wants" or tv-show like "Zoey's Extraordinary Playlist", it could totally be your cup of tea. However, if you are looking for something deeper or more mature overall, it is not the one to watch.
