My beloved drama couple<3
The main characters have very clear characterization and motivations, making them feel more human and thus made me feel more invested in their relationship and their well-being. I loved how they worked as each others'foils and how crazy fun the flashbacks of their relationship were. ( I rewatch these scenes twice a month💀). The second lead was likeable enough but wasn't as compelling to have that much screen time, same goes for nj.The two best friends were adorable, I liked them as much as the main leads!!
The only thing I'd change in the drama( which I think would fix every problem) is the length of it. Had it been 4 episodes shorter, the story would have played out faster, cutting filler/dragged out/ repetitive scenes .
Overall a great feelgood romcom with really well written characters and lots of entertaining moments! It will always have a special place in my heart

Lovely production. Unbinge-able plot wise
I'm conflicted with how to rate this one.I loved the directing. The soft, warm color schemes. Even the wardrobe consisted mainly of white and tan clothes. And the OST was just so lovely, calming and chill (quite a few of the songs ended up getting a little heart by me on Spotify).
But at the same time, this drama could get so dull at times. This was in no way, shape or form a drama that should be binged. It just doesn't work like that. It's best enjoyed by watching one or two episodes at a time. Otherwise, the softness that was so compelling in small amounts turns into unappealing, unexciting blandness.
It was mentioned a few times by one of the characters that what makes their documentaries good is how they capture moments of everyday life that are so ordinary they would otherwise go unnoticed, and that's pretty much this drama in a nutshell. How even daily life is full of special moments we are only made aware of in retrospect. But you can only witness so much of a person's uneventful, daily life before you get bored.
So, yeah, pace yourself, spread the episodes out in between maybe something more high energy, dramatic and tense, and I'm sure you'll end up enjoying this one all the more for it.

Choi Woo Shik is honestly the cutest. And such an amazing actor! I think my favorite moments in this drama were his "quirky" reactions to pretty much anything. But the best part? Woong and his parents. There was so much love and affection and respect and I think theirs was the best family dynamic I've seen in a long time.I must admit, though, that I liked the first half of this drama better than the second one. IMO, it was funnier and it kept me on the edge of my seat, the push and pull between Woong and Yeon Soo, the will they won't they was polished to perfection. Once they got together, though, it just... lost something. It was still very good, don't get me wrong, and the actors were keeping the standard high but some of the, well, spark was gone.
Some of my favorite moments were when Woong was sick and laid his head in his mother's lap. Or when she and Woong talked about Woong knowing about his past at the end. Or the genuine care that Woong showed to Ji Woong when Ji Woong was sick. Or... well, like I said, pretty much all Choi Woo Shik's scenes, what can I say. He's a truly marvelous actor!

I started this Kdrama because of Choi Wooshik and i really wasn't disappointed. Later I found out Kim Taehyung made an OST for this kdrama and once I heard the song play in the episodes i literally couln't contain my excitement. Overall the plot is really sweet and the pace was really well done as well. I don't think anything was rushed and everything fell into its place in time. The two love birds falling in love with each other and sharing a lovely kiss in the rain just like their first kiss really makes your heart skip a beat. I loved the documentary bit as well, how the universe needed them to get together again. Forced proximity is one of my favourite genres so this was really enjoyable. Second lead was also very likeable- on both sides. The famous idol girl and the guy who films, I liked them all. Really cute kdrama, I recommend it if you like sweet romance kdramas like this! What a beloved feeling~
Took me a while to finally watch this and I do have to say that it's different than what I had imagined. It's really good and I would tell all of my friends to watch it (if only I had any). For some reason, Ji-ung wasn't doing it for me until the end of the drama. Maybe it was because he was kind of making a move on his best friend's ex girlfriend? Idk.
I didn't understand why the camera man kept filming Ung's ear or the back of the actor's head.
Anyway, it was good. Liked it a lot.

The couple I've waited all year for.
You're pretty smart. You probably figured out the ending, or at least the one you hoped for. If you think the beginning is a little weak, hang in there, the last half paid off and the ending was chefs kiss perfect. One of my favorites. The rare drama where a second season could work and be just as good as the first.I said it all with the headline, but i could watch another 16 episodes where the leads reminisce about their first dates, who fell for who first...pull weeds, fold laundry and put away cabbage. And the cherry on top, the supporting cast storyline, is really, really good.
If we were friends and you didn't fall in love with this, I'd be worried about you.

giving this series A SECOND CHANCE
when this series first aired, i wanted to love it, but halfway through, the story didn’t compel me enough to continue, so i dropped it. fast forward to 2024, i was in a drama slump, and when i saw the series on Netflix, i decided to give it another try. and i’m glad i did.the reason i dropped it initially was that the story felt quite mundane. there were no surprising twists or moments of intense drama to keep me on the edge of my seat. ironically, that same quality became the reason i grew to love it after giving it another chance. as the years have passed and i’ve gotten older, i’ve come to appreciate stories about everyday life more. a story doesn’t always need to be extravagant or packed with thrills–just like life itself.
the entire cast of this drama truly delivered. Kim Da Mi and Choi Woo Shik had amazing chemistry and looked so good together. however, my favorite was Park Jin Joo; her character brought so much joy to every scene she was in! and oh how i felt bad for Kim Sung Cheol’s character. he deserves love and happiness.
at the end of the day, i’ve realized that everything comes down to mood and timing. if a drama doesn’t resonate with you now, consider revisiting it in the future—you might find yourself appreciating it in a whole new way.

Amazing & Beautiful ❤️✌️
This was something unique & I loved it ❤️ A teenage romantic drama & the romantic relation b/w the main characters was amazing, the back n forth of their relationship n it literally gave me butterfly all the way throughout the episodes. You can feel the connection with the characters throughout the series & that raw emotions & feelings they are going through. Besides, the OSTs of this series are also great & I loved it. After completing the series I hopped on to Spotify & listened to all of it's OST tracks & they all are soothing & great ❤ Also, the side characters were also portrayed in a very good way. I'll definitely recommend this & I'll give it 8/10 🔥✌️Questa recensione ti è stata utile?
MUST WATCH !! A true youthful masterpiece depicting the concept of life in a beautiful way
Wow. Just wow. This show was indeed an experience in many ways, I had given this drama a try when it first aired, however, I gave up midway through the first episode only because I didn't think it'd interest me. One day, I was reminded of this drama when I saw the OST in stores. I thought to give it another shot and I truly fell in love with every detail of this show, every character was explored thoroughly and the romance was genuinely perfect. This might just be one of the best youthful romance dramas I've seen this year everything from the plot to the characters was flawless, I am gonna miss this drama dearly, I love how they gave insight into each character's life allowing us to understand hardships that they've faced as well as showing the concept of mistakes that have been made in the past and how the characters grew from them. It was a perfect depiction of a drama driven by its characters and that's what I love. I cannot even think of a single thing I've hated, I'm not a person who writes many reviews however due to how much I loved this I had to give it a review. I think this drama will always remain one of my favorites and I wish for many people do give this drama the recognition and love it deserves.Questa recensione ti è stata utile?
I'm an emotional mess
I'm not gonna lie, it took me a while to watch this drama, but i didn't wanna rush it. I wanted to savor every second and I'm glad i did.It was amazing, i loved the peace they set, the way they keep showing you past and present, the way you slowly get to know everyone.
The cast was excellent: i cried and laughed so much!
The characters all had a personality and more or less it got represented so well!
The music was a m a z i n g: i might be biased about Christmas tree but all of the songs made for this drama where great!
I'd definitely rewatch this drama again just to cry like a bitch in the end!

Not As Slow Burn As You Might Expect
I was mislead by a lot of comments. There was really a lot about slow burn, but in actuality, there is no more slow burn than any standard rom-com Kdrama. The template of such a drama is the work up to the 7-8th episode for the confessions, and skinship to happen... this drama fits the templete so I'm not stressed about it. I expected it to be more like a Cdrama where you almost have to wait for the last second and then they're only happy for 1/2 a day, some tragedy or fight happens, and you don't see them together for the rest of the drama until the last 15 minutes. lol. This is no where near that kind of thing.
You don't get a lot of silliness once they start to grow up, get over their mental issues, open up to others, not just themselves, and start to become more and more emotionally healthy.
Also, the comments about them being way too immature for their age and that this was boring had the point of this drama go right over their heads. That WAS the point of the drama, hahaha. It is a testament on varying mental issues, how parents can make or break that, and set up their kids for success or failure despite their circumstances and how that affects your other interpersonal relationships, be they work related, friendships, or extended family. You can watch the entire Johnny Depp v Amber Heard trial to understand what this means. And this couple aren't anywhere near having the mental issues those two have, and he's in his 50s... So, yeah, the way things transpire in childhood has a serious affect on how you handle life in adulthood. If a rom-com based on this is boring to you, than avoid those topics.
As to how the drama handled the subject matter, for the most part, it was quaint and relatable. There were moments of cliche that made me sad they couldn't have made fresher interpersonal issues. The idea you actually need a 'degree' to grow creatively etc is too antiquated. It discounts folks like Steve Jobs et al. There's no One Size Fits All to maturity, growth, & creativity... but the Korean mindset just hasn't grasp that idea yet, it seems. I thought with Ung they almost got there, but they fell short in the end by doing him a bit dirty.
I wasn't really a fan of the forward backward then forward again flashes in time to tell the story. They used it to slowly unfold the truths behind each character. It was okay and effective at times. In others, it felt like they were trying to play you with forced "Ah,, ha" moments. After a while, it was a bit irritating.
So, weighing the pros and cons of this drama, I still think this is an above avg Kdrama, worth a solid watch.

An expected review
I have wanted to watch this k-drama because it featured two of my favourite actors and I am happy I finally did it. At first, I thought it was going to be a simple and relaxing love story but how wrong I was, it was so much more complex and touching. Full of emotions it touched on topics such as youth, growing up, changing, love, friends, family, loneliness, trusting and abandoning issues and even not as clear depression. I am not gonna lie sometimes it was overwhelming but the way they made it so realistic and relatable for any class age was one of the reasons that made me like this k-drama so much. Another reason was the action was so raw and beautiful again made me love the drama all the characters had a purpose to represent something in my view even if it was only for comedic relief, the plot was interesting and how everything got wrapped up was so satisfying. And I really recommend everyone to give this drama a try it´s worth it, they made me giggle and laugh through it all but also cry and be angry, the cinematography, the ost, the production and the actors collectively made this a 10/10.Questa recensione ti è stata utile?
