Golden Spoon Golden Life.
I thoroughly enjoyed this show. The show started out really great for the first few episodes until it starts to go downhill but kind of quickly picked themselves up along the way. I wasn't expecting the last ep to be this twisted but I'm glad it turned out that way. I really like the ending where they talked about hyundo and yeojin part.At some point, the second male lead and main female lead were quite useless when they build up the story all about them. Its a shame but I felt like their characters could play a more important part. But Na In woo's appearance really.... strong and powerful and important to bring the story to a next level. Acting was phenomenal especially by the two dads. Although at the ending, I wish hyundo could act a little more sad.
Overall the OSTs are great and the story is great. I look forward to their future works and I think this drama really gave a whole new level of meaning in life to some people. I like how relatable the story is especially at such a moment in life.

Unique and Thrilling Drama!
This drama has one of the most interesting and socially relevant plots I’ve ever seen. The acting is superb and though many of the characters are flawed, their flaws hi light their humanity. I don’t want perfect characters, so I appreciate the anti-hero qualities to many of the main characters. There is a fair share of ridiculousness and a few characters are one -dimensional and cliche, but it doesn’t take away from the talent displayed and the message of the drama. I think many of the harsh reviews are from viewers who possibly forget that no one is truly good , not even ourselves. But it’s that uncomfortable friction that creates compelling stories.Questa recensione ti è stata utile?

SO FAR THE BEST SHIT I WATCHED
I watched up to ep4. This drama is absolute art. I thought it was gonna be shit after reading the synopsis. Yk the basic boring body switch. No, it's not a body switch but a life switch. The rules to golden spoon, the circumstances the characters everything just fits so well and goes so smoothly.
It was well worked on. The authors and screenwriters and directors worked their souls out. Its pitch-perfect. THe story is so hooking. Ep 1 may not be ur type but trust me it gets better and better. This is so utterly perfect I love it so much. The fact that it's a high school drama is so smart. I really am interested on how the characters develop.
Compared to all the shows airing right now, like law cafe, love in contract, and little women they all are great but they are so absolute trash and very mid compared to this show. Normally I ain't interested in fantasy shows but this show got something special in it.
100/10 recommend i would rewatch it all the eps so far.
Look for my ep 8 review if u wanna know how the show is going

Spoonless Mindset!
The very first scene we were introduced to generic high schoolers that left a sour first impression. Right off the bat we were hammered with the deplorable trope of bullies and rich kids that both were done in the most tacky ways possible. I hated every second but I kept my patience waiting for the fantasy/supernatural tag to kick in and change the scenery. It certainly did for a little while during the first half despite being very slow, especially with the insane 80 minutes runtime per episode. However, the drama started to fall apart around episode 7 and it became an unwatchable piece of utter junk after the insane 10-years time-skip in episode 9. Any potentials it had were evaporated. The story had insane gaps that were impossible to patch. There are a lot of points to be made about the mystery, secrets, reveals, decisions, and transformations but I would be repeating myself. It was really frustrating watching the golden spoon's rules change and evolve to fit the story's new development and narrative, a very strong sign of amateur writing! It's possible to blame the writers' heavy reliance on the source material and doing the bare minimum to script it. Since the source material is a Webtoon, it wasn't surprising seeing strange behaviors and random elements starting to seep through. It's hard to trust a Webtoon story to translate well into screen without competent writers unless the Webtoon creator was exceptionally brilliant which in this case he wasn't.

Why I didn't hear about this before?
Why hasn’t it gained more success? This show was outstanding, prompting me to share my thoughts. The storyline, acting, and even the OST were exceptional. The actors conveyed emotions so vividly that I found myself immersed, experiencing a range from anger to anxiety and sadness. The drama held me from start to finish, a rare feat in my binge-watching history. Now that it’s over, I’m left with a void, wondering what to watch next.Regarding the love interests, I felt torn between the ML and SFL, craving more of their interaction. Yet, the FL and ML displayed a profound, genuine love that went beyond a mere crush.
Can we talk about SFL ? I mean Oh Yu Jin. No, because she giving. ? And the outfit, always on point. I need to see her in more drama pls.
Returning to the main plot, the story was masterfully written, and the episode count felt just right. Every character’s perspective was well understood, though the ending left a bittersweet taste. I understood the repercussions of the golden spoon but I still felt sad for SeungChun. But by the look of Juhee, I can imagine he's going to reconnect with the people who loved him and whom he loved.
This drama is worth recommending to everyone. It’s a gem that deserves more recognition.
Now I am going to watch the TikTok edits, ITW, BTS and stalk the actors.

Yook Sung Jae (Lee Seung Chun), Lee Jong Won (Hwang Tae Yong), Jung Chae Yeon (Na Joo Hee), and Yeonwoo (Oh Yu Jin) did great in the scripts that were given to them. I wanted to learn more about Yook Sung Jae who is a KPop Maknae Artist from BtoB. I love his personality so I wanted to see how good of an actor he was. I will find other dramas he is in. He has very good vocal tones which I do know.

One of the best on going drama right now!
This drama is amazing!I dont know how many times already i'm watching this drama, even only have 2 episodes until now. The story is so interesting, a lil bit different from the original webtoon but that what makes this drama more unpredictable! The development of the story is so fast, you will not feel boring at all because every scenes have a their own story. I always believe in Yook Sungjae's drama because i think he has a good eyes for his projects. Yook Sungjae acts really well, so good! He can potrays as Lee Seungchon and Hwang Taeyong so good, i guess his acting skills increase from his last project (Mystic Pop Up Bar), not only Sungjae but all actors act really well, even for supporting roles. You will not going to waste your time with this drama, this drama worth to wacth, no wonder the rating is high, even though it's only 2 episodes. Lets HIT BIG The Golden Spoon team ??

Writer’s angst???
Safe to say this is a fantasy themed series. I only completed 4 episodes and might still change my rating and review after completion of the series .The writer piled up every suffering on the rich lad. Pretty much only two things going for him, son of a tycoon and his good looks and even lost being a child of a tycoon as a start. Left, right, up, down there’s constant issues thrown at this rich lad. Not educationally savvy, hard father, wicked step-mother, anxiety disorder, then turned poor, bullied by classmates, evil female friend, only person who saves him occasionally don’t like him, etc. what else ??? I’m exhausted just imagining what this kid if being put through. Then at the end he probably will also lose the two things that makes him feel content: parents and girlfriend. Then return to being a rich tycoon son, wicked stepmom, devil of an uncle and a brutal father.
I wish the story is more balanced out. My heart aches watching this series and still debating if I should continue or save myself the anxiety.
