what a way to ruin a story

i really don't know what emotion they were trying to convey with that final reveal, but it certainly did not work. any empathy i had for theo went down the toilet cuz it contradicted the whole thing he struggled with the whole show.
the previous episodes were not GREAT by any means (this is one of the weakest bl dramas gmmtv has put out recently), but hey, the plot stands out from everything else airing rn, story is bearable enough, writting is messy but the cast is hot, so i've been keeping an eye on it, but the absurdity was beyond expectation, but not even in a fun quirky way, just bad.

Nice episode, really

I have been ranting about Enchante's writing for the past few episodes, as it seemed unpolished and all over the place. But this episode is an improvement. It finally feels coherent and smooth, significantly more than earlier. And the revelation isn't too bad really. I was expecting the worst (it's really bad in the novel). Everyone is doing well in this episode, but I feel Force deserves the most praise. Also, there are some scenes that are pretty nice. My favorite one is the ice bucket scene.

Cool Turnout

Although I was sadly spoiled about who Enchante was way back during episode one, I still enjoyed how everything turned out. I could've sworn someone said that Theo was sleepwalking, but I think I liked this even better. It's kind of weird to go through all this trouble to get your crush to notice you when all you had to do was communicate. I do like that Safia ended up being the wingman and not another person trying to scam Theo. At least Enchante The Series is not what I was expecting it to be. I'm a little gloomy that we only have two episodes left, but I'm excited to finish.

Finally

I know we're going to have to go through the obligatory horrible rocky misunderstanding before the happy eever after in ep 10, but at least they know about each other now.
