Calls out heteronormative BL tropes and shows how to do it better!
1.) This conversation: “I can’t say exactly when. I don’t even know for sure when I changed. Maybe I’ve liked men for so long, but I just realized it.” - “I don’t mind genders. I like them all.” - “I thought you’d be like: ‘I’m straight but Pran is the only guy I like.’” 2.) This quote: “Anyone taller than me is fine. I just like someone I feel comfortable with.” 3.) And especially this quote: “Does calling me a wife make you feel superior?” Applause to whoever wrote these lines ??????
Good episode. My dumb American ass forgot they don’t have open carry. That was embarrassing. The parents are gonna be even harder to sway them their friends. Oh god I was dreading this episode so much lol. Okay bye!
Maybe this episode i the least of my favourites, unnecessary events and scenes to make their parents know above their relationship, and not to mention that wai is acting like a complete prat since this accident he did till this moment. I was also furious in the sensual scene between pran and pat in the bedroom like whenever they get alone together there must be always someone who will interrupt them and break their heat moment toger and i can't watch a real complete intimate scene for them together. I was like for any intruder " can you please move the fuck away for a minute and let them explore each other for god's sake!! " . ಠಿ_ಠ
why aint i surprised? one heck of a bff Wai turned out to be - especially after everything Pran has gone out of his way to do for this ungrateful douche let alone his other friends (╬▔皿▔)╯(wonder why he kept quite after seeing Pran get into Pat's car. he not a level headed guy, so why then not mention it or expose him ?!? just cause the time wasn't right?). ***************************also ironic Pran can't help but run after him, begging for forgiveness - when not informing him who he's dating aint that big of a crime (well it's Not a crime, cause u don't owe ur buddies / bff's full disclosure on ur personal life). what is a crime, getting exposed to n auditorium full of students and turning ur personal life into fodder for gossip. but he has the balls to go on a mini-rant about being the aggrieved party, cause "...it must be great, being the one that wronged. u can just say sorry, and u have to be forgiven". sorry buttface, u committed a major f*ck-up by exposing's ur bff and yet u don't feel, like u did wrong? and need to apologize?!? ( ˘︹˘ ) he keeps acting like.... Pran - the irony, guess this so he can get a taste of his own medicine, cause this is exactly how he been acting with Pat from the start of this. so kinda not sorry how his "friends" treating him. and this also goes to strengthen the point i made in the previous ep, that Pran is at fault. if he like Pat wouldn't cater to his buddies, but try and put a stop to their antagonism, even get angry at them for trying to start sh*t - this wouldn't have been the outcome. Pat did all this and more, and yet his buddies standing strong - they supportive and adorable let alone reliable - now those r friends. ********************************************************************************************************************************************** btw the way the f*ckhead playing - isn't he a scholarship student?!? and he got it for playing rugby. so he so butthurt about Pran and Pat he ready to shoot himself in the foot and tank the game, just as long as he can mess with Pat?!? is this the logic we working with?!? that whole scene became worse when Pat Again humbled himself, cause Pran hold's his bff so dear - ugh this frustrating to watch - *********************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************that whole fight and gun incident is so far-fetched (cop's and their "investigative" method's were just a BAD joke), everything to what end?!? show us Pran cares? or that Wai a worthy bff? everything was so random and i don't get what the point of it all was, other then a distraction when there's so much more important stuff to deal with - but ok, now everyone friends again and everyone approve of Pat and Pran (ノω<。)ノ oopsh spoke too soon ( ̄_, ̄ )
Ok so I’m giving this a 9 because the series as a whole deserves nothing less than a 9 in my eyes. However, this episode was supposed to be a redemption arc for one of the characters and it was handled poorly. It didn’t redeem the character in my eyes and I kinda hated how the everything was executed related to the drama. I kinda skipped half the episode. If I ignore the second half of this episode I do think there were still plenty of cute moments and enjoyed everything else.
Again, i believe that Nanon and Ohms Chemistry is what make this Series Work so much, plus the great directing and screenwriting by P'Aof and the whole BBS Crew, KUDOS to all people involved in it. while i think the "Gun & Police " problem in the last half of episode is a bit too much to be wrapped in a 20 minutes or less (they make it as if its not that big of a deal), MAYBE, its a way to show that things like Gun Control and Polices Investigation are still a problem in Thailand nowadays, since they like to take a Dig in so many stuff including the stereotypical line in BL and Stereotypical depiction of same sex relationship. thats just a big MAYBE from my assumption xD
Idk how to feel about this episode. Again, with no surprise, Ohm and Nanon packed on the chemistry and put on a stellar performance. Ink and Pa gave us pretty much nothing and we're already on ep 10, so I need them to hurry up. I loved them calling out the "I'm not gay I only like you" trope, Hilarious, one of the highlights of this series that I'll remember forever. I LOVED that Drake actually got somewhat of decent screen time this episode. He was hilarious, and I love how he was accepting of Pat and Pran. but one person that frustrated me was Wai. How would you call yourself a "best friend" and then reveal to the entire school Pat and Pran's relationship (pretty much outing them to the entire school). Then he had the audacity to sit up and be angry the entire episode, then to get himself almost shot. Then we continue down this slippery slope of ridiculousness that was so uncalled for. Prat gets grazed with a bullet and I couldn't hold in my scream laugh, Like wtf, that was so...random?? if they needed a situation for Pan to run into Prat's parents, they could've found another way, there were plenty of other ways. All in all, this was a lot in one episode. Hopefully next episode will go back to feeling a bit normal, with some angst from their parents.
The beginning of the episode had me like what that was messed up. The way that things got resolved on the faster pace might rub some people the wrong way but that’s how life can happen sometimes. There’s a potiental GL shipping in this episode I see that had me like awww. The ending was like okay the real ignorant issue are going to come to surface
I am in the minority who loved this episode. Some things could have been better, but I suppose I just want to take a step back and leave it to the writers' creative license to tell the story the way they want. There were some important discussions raised here and my favourite one has to be PatPran and InkPaa's hotpot dinner where they talked about SOGIE topics. This episode moved the story along, and I have faith that the next three episodes will be good :)
the conflict that they build up since day one resolved in 5 minutes with no real conclusion, a lot of the character seems OOC in this episode. and part 3 & 4 feel like a whole different vibe all togetherand that scene with the police just WTF..... it doesn't make sense and so stupid, the only consistent thing in this eps is the chemistry between the two lead
Here is what I hear the "Oh No, Oh No, Oh No No No No..."
Aside from the main lead, I did not expect the turn of events here actually. Wai's character is really unexpected. I thought Wai was entirely against Pat and Pran. I am just concerned because Pat's family caught Pran going out Pat's room.
Not the best episode by far - but it still had some really great points - Destroying BL tropes has been a thing all along Rewatch value smaller for this episode (especially after episodes 5-8) but I still want to see reaction videos to it
Almost perfect! The pace was good and how theproblem with friendswas resolved in a verypositive way.The only fault I haveis with theshipping ofthe two girls.
This episode was just not it. Every problem and tension that arose in this ep was so superficially and easily solved within the next 3-4 minutes that I wasn’t buying it. I was like oh that was it? All that build up for nothing? Lol I love this series so much please I hope it redeems itself.
