What a shame!

This series has been, for the most part, a waste of time. You can watch it once and that's it... it really has very few nice moments and it is filled with the typical Thai clichés for a BL with almost all characters being annoying or trying to act too cute or childish or both. The storylines are stories we have seen in other BLs so they don't bring much in terms of originality and some are acted or directed terribly. Too many couples with only 2 episodes per couple that really doesn't leave much time to explore their interactions and their chemistry as the writers have to rush some of the scenes so they can move slightly forward. And actors who are nearly 30 in some cases (Yoon is 27, Gung is 26, Korn is 25), acting like immature brats. Some comments I read tried to defend the fact that they are portraying 18-19 year olds in university. I never acted like an annoying brat and never did some of the activities these "students" do

Here are some comments on each pairing:
1. Chap and Tae take the roles of Tue and Ake and right from the start we have the classic enemy turned into lovers which we have seen plenty of times in other BLs. Chap and Tae's acting can be defined as "stiff" at best as they really don't deliver much of their dialogues with any kind of emotion or at least nothing convincing enough. Maybe that is the reason Chap was barely seen in "Lovely Writer" he was supposed to be part the side couple but at some point he was completely ignored and wasn't even present for most of the middle episodes of the series. At some point they even mention that the character he portrays in "Lovely Writer" got a new role in another show and they show his Y-Destiny picture. Chap is now scheduled to appear in "The Tuxedo" and Tae will be the lead actor in "You're my Sky"... I hope they both get better acting coaches that can really help them improve their facial expressions and their delivery.

2. Max and Nat take the roles of Sun and Nuea and again, we've seen this storyline before with the teacher or tutor/student relationship who end up falling in love. Nuea is childish, annoying, and a rich-spoiled brat that gets away with almost anything and Teacher Sun cannot do much to resist his "charms". I found these episodes quite boring as I wanted to slap Max for being so soft and Nuea for being so immature. These actors have been a BL couple for a while now, appear constantly in Domundi videos together and are scheduled to be a couple yet again in another project in the near future. Nat is nearly 10 years younger than Max (18 vs. 27 years old) which is why he normally gets this childish, innocent or annoying characters and Max gets the bully, fighter, jock type of characters. They do have good chemistry but sadly, I feel they are both now cast with very similar type of characters (in BLs) which prevents them from experiencing other roles and maturing as actors.

3. Korn and Gung play Mon and Team and here the dynamics of the couple made it interesting as both are best friends in real life. Both graduated from the same university and while Gung is a year older than Korn (26 vs. 25 years old), Korn is Gung's "senior" in terms of cheerleading activities, which is where both met (they share a Youtube channel with some videos about their friendship). However, despite being 25 years old, Korn plays an extremely innocent and childish character that speaks like a 4-year old, pouts at everything and is shocked when Team starts making a move on him. Again, we've seen this story in other BLs so there is no originality in that aspect and the acting a bit better than Chap and Tae but still, incredibly predictable.

4. Pee and Au play Thurs and Pao/Pae and this is a crazy story with Thurs who is a student but also does seance sessions to contact spirits and swindle some money from his fellow classmates. One night, they go to a pool where a student drowned and Thurs then gets a visit from Pao, who is a ghost. They end up falling in love only to be separated when is the turn of Pao's soul to go. Up to this point, we've had Ohm and Singto doing a MUCH, MUCH better job with the ghost/human love story in "He's Coming to Me" so you can watch 8 episodes of a much better story with much better actors. Then, magically, Pae appears in real life, saves Thurs from being killed by a car, doesn't remember being Pao or being a ghost as much as Pee insists on it but somehow feels "a familiar connection" to Thurs and end up being boyfriends. We've seen Pee before in the crazy "YYY" and again he takes on a character that is a bit weird while Au has his first important role... apparently he had a guest role in one episode of "Theory of Love" but I can't remember him at all... but his inexperience shows with some stiff acting.

5. Toru and First play Puth and Kaeng and I've seen comments and other reviews when their episodes came out, that these were the best episodes of the series. I completely disagree and here is why. Puth and Kaeng are sex friends and Puth has established that being sex friends is the only thing for them. Kaeng agreed with that but started to develop feelings for Puth at some point. However, instead of telling him and talking like two civilized adults, he sneaks in Puth's dorm at night to convince him to have more sex with him. Then acts all jealous when Puth starts liking his colleague but then Puth completely forgets about him when he suddenly realizes he does have feelings for Kaeng. Many people loved these episodes because of the amount of steamy scenes they had, but if you take that out, there is no substance to the story with Puth saying that he doesn't like Kaeng only to change his mind, again, we've seen this like a million times in Thai BL. In reality, we had a very similar situation with Tharn-Type season 2 when the characters really did nothing much aside from fighting, crying and having sex. They do have a bit more substance in their story than the other couples, dealing with situations that are more believable but if you like these 2 episodes because of the sex scenes, kisses, and shirtless moments, then you watched for the wrong reasons.
And, the cringy part, was watching the behind the scenes for these episodes (available on Youtube) with the acting coach telling them how to kiss by forcefully grabbing their heads and mashing them together for them to kiss the way she wanted. It looked awkward to say the least.

6. Jaab and Ton play Sat and Choke and here fantasy comes back like in the Thurs-Pao/Pae story with Sat wishing he was popular to a gundam figure and ending his childhood friendship with Choke, only to all come back to bite him in the ass when nothing goes the way he wanted and feeling lonely and depressed despite apparently being so popular at university. Both actors are debuting with this series with Jaab being 20 and Ton being 22 years old and just like it was the case with other newcomers in this series, there is terrible acting guidance with both looking relatively expressionless and super stiff in some of the scenes. For example, the moment when Sat asks Choke why did they stop being friends (he can't remember all the things he did to his best friend when they were kids just to become more popular) should have been quite an emotional one because Choke debates on whether to tell him the truth or not and when he does tell him, Sat should have reacted a bit more dramatically... instead, the emotion was non-existent. Also, while both speak decent English, the excessive use of English for this couple was a bit off-putting. It could be because I'm used to hearing Thai and reading the subtitles in English but they had 4 lines in English, 5 in Thai, 7 in English, 3 in Thai and so on... so, I found that a bit annoying.

7. Finally, Talay, Yoon, and Perth play Masuk, Jia, and Tir and episodes 13 and 14 were the two EVERYBODY was waiting for because we saw Talay and Perth in "My Engineer" and Talay and Yoon in "YYY" as BL couples so we knew they had good chemistry and now all three were acting in the same series and connected somehow. That connection turns out to be Tir being Masuk's boyfriend who dies in a tragic fire in a movie theater. This causes Masuk to fall into a depression fueled by his guilt of not being there to help Tir and Jia just looking at Masuk with puppy eyes but not being able to express his love for him because of all the surrounding circumstances. Masuk cannot let go of Tir memories and then he can see him and interact with him with Poppy's guest role as a homeless man who gives him an amulet to see "his loved one". The story is a bit confusing because Masuk can see Tir and at some points it seems like Jia can see Tir as well. Then, Tir tells Masuk to move on and live his life but never really leaves so that makes Masuk and Jia's interactions WAY awkward doing everything alongside Tir.
What I didn't like is Jia taking such a low position and telling Masuk that he understands he loves Tir and he will accept that... sorry, but Tir is dead and won't be coming back, so either Masuk moves on and gives Jia his spot as boyfriend or just continues to mourn Tir forever.

Episode 15 is the final episode with a short part with each couple which was even worse than the rest of the episodes combined. Kaeng and Puth are calling each other "Papi" and "Daddy" (which brought some memories of how Gun calls Off "Papi" as well) but this couple never called themselves that in their 2 episodes, so why now?
Mon and Team are calling each other "Smile" and "Prince" and Nuea switches from calling Sun "teacher" to "uncle" within 2 minutes in this episode with no apparent reason. Team uses the "kha" like Thai females do at the end of their sentences when he talks to Mon which makes no sense as he was clearly the masculine one in the relationship in their two episodes (another Thai BL cliché). Then, Kaeng and Team are basically being controlled by their boyfriends having to convince them to get permission to go out only to keep checking on them or ask them to come back home very soon. It really made me cringe because those are very odd relationships to be in.
Ake and Sat pretend to be injured (while boxing) or drowning just to get some sympathy from Tue and to kiss Choke (which was terribly acted by the way) only for them to act cute while they apologize for pranking their boyfriends. And, of course, Masuk and Jia are having dinner with Tir sitting there as well and watching them hug and almost kiss, which I'm sure was a bit weird for Perth who barely had any dialogue in the 3 episodes he appears and only watched Yoon and Talay interact. He then sits behind the rest of the cast in the last part of the episode when all are in the pool.
And speaking of pool, it was odd to have some of them shirtless in the pool and others sitting behind them in clothes that do not look very adequate for the pool. They bring back the BL cliché of having a "wife" (I still don't understand the obsession with defining a "wife" and a "husband" role in many BLs I've seen) but mostly do nothing relevant except giving thanks to their respective couples and their friends for helping them... but I just give thanks that this series is OVER.

I can say this- I am not gonna miss this series

Well, Y-Destiny has finally ended. Fifteen weeks of seven couples being told in two episodes each (the last one all seven couples are in it). It sounded like a cool concept that was given to us previously from 'Our Skyy' and 'Close Friend.' However, I felt that Y-Destiny was not able to met the bar that these two series set (yes, even Close Friend, which I felt had A LOT of flaws.)

Story-6/10 (carried it to the nearest number)
I'm gonna grade all couples and then come to final rating.
Ep 1-2 (Tue-Ake)-4 Why? Cause I got lost and bored with this couple that at a point I had no clue what was going on in the series. I'm sorry!

Ep 3-4 (Sun-Nuea)-8 Loved everything about them! They were my fav until episodes seven to ten. I want to see more of Max and Nat in a FULL series together! Loved them here as well as their characters in Close Friend.

Ep 5-6 (Team-Mon)- 5 While Mon character was hella annoying, I still was able to follow the storyline for them than for Tue and Ake. Before I was going to give them a lower mark to said couple, but...nah!

Ep 7-8 (Pao/Pae-Thurs)- 8.5 I actually was pleasantly surprised with this couple, cause before watching this, I thought that I wouldn't like them. They proved me wrong!

Ep 9-10 (Puth-Kaeng)-9 OMG! This couple came out of nowhere for me and just...stole the whole series! They were able to do what episodes five and six failed to do for me- bring together steamy scenes with a good storyline.

Ep 11-12 (Choke-Sat)-4 I felt like this was a failure for me. You have the concept of 13 going on 30 as your guideline. How can you mess that up?! And this right here is where I felt steamy scenes could not help with thier storyline.

Ep 13-14 ( Tir-Masuk-Jia)-2 Why? Cause I felt thier storyline tedious to get through during the two episodes. Also, Jia does not really love Masuk. I know he's trying to move on, but like, he's failing miserably. And it's unfortunate cause these three actors were awesome in thier other respective series. They just got the crappy end of the stick here and wound up with a truly crappy storyline.

P.S- Please note some marks were taken away due to the wrap up episode (15), cause it was draggy and I felt that it didn't really add anything to this series.

Acting/Cast- 6/10
I am giving a six, only due to the three couples that were strong for me (that's how strong thier acting is that I am being REALLY kind here!)

Music- 6.5/10
The music was okay for me. It wasn't that annoying but wasn't that stellar for me.

Rewatch Valu- 3/10
I am giving it a three cause I would ONLY watch three couples (Puth-Kaeng, Pao/Pae-Thurs and Sun-Nuea) storylines over and over again. I believe that I shouldn't waste my time with the rest. This is just how I personally feel.

Overall- 5.5/10
This series was not it for me. Maybe someone out there likes it. But...not me. I would only recommended the three couples that I loved to people. The rest...no.

Only good ep was 9 and 10

Let's just say I completed this series for the sake of not having an ongoing series on my list. But pls never ever produce something like this again, bl drama has progressed alot and this was just terrible on a whole new level.

Still a fan of puthkaeng only, hoping they get their own series soon. I only gave this series a 5 becus of them, if not my rating would have been way lower than this.

I think the world would be much better without any more y series, cause this was really frustrating, That's all good riddance to ydestiny

A mixed bag with a rewarding bright gem in the midst

Y Destiny varies wildly in quality like a lot of anthology type storytelling, there are many lows, but their high point is well executed artistry. The Kaeng and Puth storyline in Eps 9 & 10 that's wrapped up in ep 15 and their own special 10 minute epilogue is stunningly compelling. I would also suggest watching their scenes as supporting roles in episode 5 & 6 for a extra context of their state of minds as well as their Dear Friend cover music video done in character that's a beautifully aching encapsulation of the relationship.

Though I would rate the show at a 5 and the Kaeng Puth storyline separately at a 9, there are things I liked about the show such as the conceit of having the characters take turn being supporting characters does add additional dimension to them outside of what he see when they are in their romance plots and seeing events from a slightly different point of view as a when scenes from one story happens before or concurrently as a plot point from another story. The contrast of genre tones of the other couples worked well to compound to tragic reality at one point in the KaengPuth storyline in particular. I really enjoyed the styling, such as the creative take on the university uniform for both the general one everyone wears to the personalized takes the characters have and their personal wardrobe and color schemes also feel intentional and adds to the characterization. The use of flashbacks of new scenes to add additional information is also efficient to add more development in the limited episode time.

A review of each storyline on their own before the strongest one:

Tue Ake Ep 1 & 2 The key part of portraying them growing feelings for each other was a miss in all departments.

Nuea Sun EP 3 & 4 features actors Max and Nat switching up their dynamic with Nat playing the confident one and Max playing the cute one works really well.

Team Mon Ep 5 & 6 On it's own it's about a naïve freshman being having his emotions played with for a game by a older Scorer, which also sets up the complications for Kaeng and Puth later.

Thur Pao/Pae Ep 7 & 8 is where supernatural and magical elements are introduced as being real in this world. It almost gave Thur a bit more complexity as a character, but it didn't and the way he is both meeting and reuniting with Pae has no impact because he's a totally different person in life than he is in death, they didn't lay any connection to make it a meaningful story.

Sat Choke Eps 11 & 12 A magical realism episode with time travel through that's inspired by 13 going on 30 expect this is 11 going on 18, which gives very disturbing feelings while watching this 11 year old in a adult body doing adult things.

Masuk Tir & Jia Eps 13 & 14 The final story was a swing and a miss. I understand the intention of a moving portrayal of handling grief, the but the execution was atrociously done. It was also a missed opportunity they didn't bother continuing with or building on any of the set up about spirits and the spirit world that was introduced in Thur's story.

Kaeng Puth Eps 9 & 10 They have the heaviest relationship development despite the friends with benefits set up. The storyline is incredibly well acted by respective actors who are refreshingly committed to their characters without any personal ego and has the skills to to disappear into them on screen. 10 out of 10 score just for them. Extra shoutout to First who was just 18 or 19, not many actors his age has the capability. The storyline is intense, mature, and realistic, not just in terms of the sexuality that is depicted but the layered emotions and the complexities of the relationship . Their story has the most build up from the sidelines of the other stories, particularly Mon's where their appearances inform the history of their story. There are so many intricately placed meaningful details of the story that span from their support appearances, to their main episodes, show finale, and their epilogue that totally respects the audience's intelligence, which is good writing, well directed, and edited as well. The whole KaengPuth storyline is the very rewatchable and worth revisiting.

In a show with ghosts and time travel, the most compelling story is of the complexities of human relationships.

MORE SCREENTIME FOR PUTH AND KAENG PLEASE

The first couple was the worst. WORST WORST WORST. It made me cringe the whole time. Their expressions are just so bad, I think they didn’t like each other off screen.

Yes, Puth and Kaeng’s episode is the best (ep. 9 and 10, plus special episode 12.5), but I’m sure I couldn’t appreciate it this much if the other guys weren’t some shitty actors with shitty storylines and shitty chemistries.

Srsly tho, I CAN’T GET ENOUGH OF PUTH AND KAENG!! UGGGHHHHHH. These kinds of chemistries are super rare, and it makes me so happy to actually witness them. Love you Papi and Daddy 🥰❤️

Came here for PerthTalay

So as the title said, I came here for PerthTalay content, because I'm still stuck on My Engineer and can't seem to leave (Don't talk to me about BohnDuen because they do the same thing every episode).

So I basically came here to watch stuff and uk.. expected some PerthTalay stuff. I watched it. I didn't really care about the other couples that much if I'm being completely honest.

But uhm. Tir kind of.. died. So Idk what to say about that really, I came here for them and that's just their plot. I'm not too mad, but I'm just sad that that was how it ended for Perth.

Seven and a half couples

I think this whole collage of stories "picturesquely" describes Yun's hair color. Metallic gray, artificial and unnecessary. I love when stories have a happy ending because I think I'm an incorrigible romantic, but here I wished that most couples didn't end up together.

I don't really understand why people don't like the first couple (ep.1&2)? Those two weren't that bad. It was simply to be expected two dead fish considering how much someone tried to avoid kisses. Measles as protection against kisses???Very innovative.

I have to admit that when writing this review, I put Mon and Time as the second pair, which only shows how uninteresting the real second pair was to me. Nuea and Sun(ep.3&4). Bored to death. I don't like to watch series on fast forward and skipping, but I barely survived this story. This combination of actors didn't have chemistry for me even in Cutie pie, so the same goes for this series. Whoever pushes them doing it in the wrong way. Sun as a submissive ? Bitch, please!

Third pair (ep. 5&6), oh God, what can I say? Mon is like an angel, acting is not his strong point, but his sweetness helped me survive those strange faces he made. The chemistry he had with Team was good, but their story and the part with the prince made me vomit... plus Team was shit, but this is BL and everything seems to be forgiven.

Fourth pair (ep 7&8). These two have chemistry as two collaborators/friends. The fake medium and spirit was the fun part, everything else was uninteresting. As a loving couple, they had no chemistry. Everything was poorly explained, rushed and concluded because I don't think the screenwriter had the right vision of how to combine these two. But I understand , they were totally uninspiring.

We got to the fifth couple (ep. 9&10). These two had good chemistry, but let's be honest, the actor who plays Kaeng would have chemistry even with a refrigerator. The sexiness that comes out of his movements, the look that takes off all your clothes... hot as hell .The story was pointless, maybe if they had more episodes to see how that famous falling in love happened and what exactly attracted him to Puth, then maybe, but maybe everything would have made more sense. But, like this, only Kaeng and his - I'll fuck you all - attitude.

Sixth pair (ep 11&12). What on earth was that? A child trapped in an adult's body? This story is not exactly the epitome of originality, although I admit the animated part was cute. BUT!! I simply did not like this story at all. If there were no intimate scenes and if Choke first helped Sat to restore his memory, or to reverse the process, or if anything happened other than what they showed, I would certainly have something positive to say.. But unfortunately I have nothing nice to say, except that the story is creepy.

Seventh triangle (ep. 13&14). Who would normally agree to what Jia agreed ? Consciously - only someone with a psychiatric diagnosis. Imagine that you have a boyfriend, but in his heart and in his head you are always in second place. It's one thing when your rival is alive and you knock him down for love, but when your rival is dead, you have no chance, you will always be the other one. If someone saw this story as romantic, let them take Jia by the hand, direction - psychiatry. No matter how much we fool ourselves, nobody is that good. People should primarily love themselves, if you don't love yourself the most, of course you can't expect that from other people either.

Episode 15 is the biggest cringe, like at the Miss Universe pageant: -"And of course I want peace in the world!!"
I won't comment on how they showed the "progress" of the couples because I would have to use a very large number of rude words and I'm a lady after all. In the end we have seven and a half couples, and no real love story to remember. We only have sexy Papi, and I guess that's something.

Would I recommend this series to anyone - No, unless you think you have an excess of brain cells and don't worry about a few million dying.

p.s. this 10 min special/extra. Why?? I'm just asking you why? We get it Dady doesn't trust Papi. Dady is insecure and a bit sleazy. We get it all, but again I have to ask why this extra? What's the point and message? Did you like what you did with that pathetic last episode so much, that you had to screw up this couple too?

For having seven relationships in this show, only two were actually watchable. I attempted to watch every episode, but in the end, I would only recommend watching episodes 3-4 and 9-10. Thankfully the episode sets have almost no connection to one another, so skipping episodes isn't too much of an issue. If you're a supporter/stan of Perth and Talay, you could watch episodes 13-14 but get ready to be disappointed with a confusing love triangle involving a ghost, a grieving man, and some dude. The final episode is sweet only for seeing the many couples show off their significant others, but overall this show is a big waste of time.

dumpster fire

Overall, I would give it a 7.5. The average between all the ratings was 7.5. It was an interesting show, and if the wheel hadn't picked it, it would have stayed in the plan to watch forever. I am glad I watched it. 3-8 and 13-15 I really liked, but the other ones I was actually like, No chance. You guys are real. It wasn't a bad show, but they had a lot of bad endings, so they need to work on that. There is too much going on, but not enough. I hate giving bad ratings to stuff, but this was terrible, and I don't want anyone to witness it. I averaged the episodes, so some were good, and that's why this isn't a 4. Other than that, I would give it 7.5 out of 10. Cheers! I caved and gave it a 4

Look at all this CHEESE!

This isn't a bad drama, but this isn't great either. The fact that I'm thinking of ways to improve every story tells me a lot about it.

~Story: (or "stories," should I say?)
This is a decent starting point for newcomers to the genre. All the stories are filled to the brim with elements that make up a Thai BL, and also a level of simplicity that does not require you to focus on it too much. This is the kind of drama you can lay down at any moment and enjoy for the sweet moments and shenanigans.
But that's where my problem begins because there was just so much cheese in this series I was over some of the stories too quickly. Once the characters began flirting it was an explosion of cheese. HUGE AMOUNTS OF CHEESE. SO MUCH CHEESE YOU MAY AS WELL BECOME LACTOSE INTOLERANT. SO, SO, SO, SO MUCH CHEESE.
Y Destiny is, unfortunately, one of those series that tried way too hard when it didn't need to. Most of the stories would have turned out so much more enjoyable without ALL THAT ChEeSe.

~Cast:
There are ups and downs to this cast. The biggest problem relates to chemistry, though. Let me talk about each couple a little:

-Tue/Ake: Mmmm the most irrelevant couple, I think. Their performance left me with nothing to remember. Actually, they just faded to the back with one of them being completely removed of the rest of the series.

-Sun/Nuea: The chemistry with them was much more obvious because we actually had a lot of build up for this couple. Now, the acting here was a little lacking. Nuea's actor was pretty monotone to the point there really isn't a lot of personality. I'm afraid to find out he's actually like this in real life because he just looks like the kind of actor who's just a pretty face and cero talent. I hope I'm wrong, though.
I don't wanna insult Nuea's actor, but he kinda looks like one of those guys on the internet who are trying so hard to be a perfect replica of SK idols to the point is very cringey to look at him. I'm sorry to everyone who may feel triggered by this, but that's genuinely what I get from him just by watching this series.

-Mon/Team; Probably the better one from the whole cast. These two were kind of the only ones who offered the whole package. Mon's actor comes from the drama "YYY" so the comedy was very easy for him; luckily, Team's actor did not stay behind and also brought great moments. Honestly, these two should get their own drama because their chemistry and equally good acting puts them on a different level.

-Thurs/Pao: Nope, nope, nope.

-Puth/Kaeng: Theirs was the best written story out of the bunch and, if you couldn't stand the previous ones, just jump to this one because it's really a good one. For how short it was, it had the right amount of everything. The actors' chemistry was pretty on point and delivered very good moments.

-Sat/Choke: There's a great joke with these character's names somewhere. This was a good story that deserved to be developed further. Honestly, just give it its own drama. If you liked the movie "13 Going on 30," then this story is gonna give you a huge punch of nostalgia. Honestly, this reason is probably why I liked it so much. Decent actor, but needed more chemistry. On a side note: these actors reminded me so much of the mains form "Make It Right."

-Masuk/Jia/Tir: Gosh, this one was a journey I did not want to take. There was a big question on top of my head at the end of their story. Not because I din't understand it, but because it was so... what the fuck? Red flags mama, ghost fucking or some shit like that. What would Freud think about this? The three actors are excellent, I think. The most matured talent out of the cast. But, what the fuck?????????

~Writing, Direction, Production:
Again, there are A LOT of things I would try to change for this drama to be much better than what we got. All in good intentions because there IS potential here, but I felt like it lacked some more thought put into the different plots. This feels like scrapped drama ideas that were recycled into a full drama. Despite the fact this project had some decent budget, the finished product felt cheap and in need of some necessary changes.

Sis, this show has everything: Enemies turned to lovers, sexual tension, Euphoria wannabe, ghost fucking(?), shit that would really make Freud's heart hurt, miracles, trips to the future, red flags, and ALL THAT MOTHERFUCKING CHEESE MAWMA!
I... sort of recommend it. Some stories were definitely worth a watch but others leave a lot to wish for.

Not good but watchable if you're bored

This show is way too forgettable to wait until the end to comment, so I wrote my thoughts on each couple as I finished their stories.

1-2 Tue & Ake - I liked both actors before I watched this, so I'll admit my bias, but I enjoyed this one. They had good chemistry and even though their story felt rushed, it worked for me.

3-4 Sun & Nuea - I didn't love the clothes, but overall this was good. I'm looking forward to seeing more from them in Cutie Pie.

5-6 Mon & Team - This didn't work for me at all. Mon's character seemed like an innocent 10 year old based on how he reacted to everything and because of that, their interactions made me uncomfortable. Mon was also my least favorite character in the series so it was hard to finish both episodes.

7-8 Thurs & Pao This was wonderful. There's been a lot of BLs with this premise, but this one really worked.

9-10 Phut & Kaeng The strongest in terms of story, but also the most dysfunctional relationship. These 2 were clearly made for each other. I'm glad no one else got their heart broken while these 2 figured things out. I don't think I'd enjoy a full season of this, but it would be more compelling than of the other couples in this series.

11-12 Sat & Choke. This reminded me of Mon & Team. The relationship is very innocent and sweet, but something felt off. Technically Mon is a little kid and acts like one, but he does a lot of really grown up things and that felt gross. Overall I didn't hate it, but I watched on 2x speed and it still made me uncomfortable.

13-14 Masuk & Tir & Jia. This one really didn't work for me. It spent too much time focusing on Masuk & Tir and not enough time focusing on Masuk and Jia falling in love. Tir lingering over the new relationship made it even more awkward to watch and the new couple felt forced together.

Episode 15 was the icing on the cake that reminded me how bad this show really was. Tir needs to go away! The show had some bright spots and stand out performances, but overall it's poorly written, directed, edited and most of the acting is subpar. If you want, watch it to pass the time and if you like very innocent BLs with simple stories, you'll probably find something here to enjoy.
