Yoo Han teaches Yeon Woo about the shades of brown and Yeon Woo teaches Yoo Han about the shades of grey. Meanwhile, Yeon Woo feels sorry for Yoo Han as he thought of kidnapping him out of his obsession with colors.

This is my favorite episode. It shows the chemistry between the two characters in a more passionate way. Makes me want to have a probe :'-)

cw: discussion of canonical suicide attempti actually think it is! it's been messing with me, this whole time, how drastic the change seems to be when monos meet their probes - it changes their whole personality, not just the fact that they can see colors. just being able to see colors wouldn't lead people to kidnapping. but being depressed your whole life and then finding someone who can fix it? yeah, i think that could. the "hospital" and the way it was talked about and the medication and everything was very reminiscent of a psychiatric hospital to me. yeon woo thinking of himself as a monster and trying to kill himself also resonates with symptoms of depression - which would, i believe, be exacerbated in a world where one person could cure that depression.i'm tentatively hopeful about the ending of this show.

I don't know why but when Yoo Han found Yeon Woo, I became too emotional and cried heaps. The fact that Yeon Woo did what he did to protect Yoo Han and Yoo Han making an effort to find Yeon Woo can really affect your emotions. What they have in this episode is special. Hoping for a good ending.

I’m happy Yeon woo didnt kidnap Yoo Han. The whole episode was so pretty especially when they were talking about the different grey colors. The scene abou the brown colors was so funny- how did Yoo Han know so many shades and the fact all Yeon woo was thinking about was his eyes and him ahhhh so cute. I wasn’t sure how they would pull off the kidnapping thing but the way it went was really sad but I’m happy he didn’t become like other monos and survived. The way they just ran away omg,,,,, I feel bad for the aunt. The last scene was so adorable let’s hope we get a kiss next ep and a season 2. Also I fangirl so much when they hold hands, it’s just so natural omg. I’m excited to see the beach scene next episode. the acting was so good this episode, and I’m living for their visuals and Yoo Han with his hair away from his face lol
