Beautiful and warm

The very first episode made me feel warm... The kid was so adorable....emotionally enchanted...loved every bit of it...that beautiful smile of okaasan lovingly looking at li'l Akira... N those happy tears of otousan capturing those sweet moments of his family.... Heartwarming plus heartwrenching epidode!!

The kid is cute and the mom but the dads acting is too much for me.
I just skipped to the good parts.

Captivating

What an opening!!! Family dramas are indeed my weakness and the first episode had me oohing, awing and clutching my heart.

I must say, Massaki Uchino shines in his role as Akira's dad. He is truly a talented and vibrant actor, which is evident in this portrayal of an orphan father raising his own son. Takako Tokiwa, who portrays Akira's mother, seemeingly has a short role, but she left a lasting impression. As wife and mother, she was the strength, support and backbone of the two prominent men in her short life.

Very intense, yet funny drama; it was love at first watch.
