Easy to watch and enjoy an almost stress-free love story
Story was simple, sweet and heart warming. It was fun and enjoyable to watch. No evil steps. No convoluted plots. It was just really enjoyable. Plus the music was an added bonus.Yes it's the typical star and a simple guy formula, not so new at all. But I found it still refreshing.
Actors did a good job with their characters. Even suppoting roles were interesting enough and joyfull to watch. The on screen chemistry of the lead actors, are really cute too.
Watched this series twice now, its still good. Rewatch value of this show is really high.

Cute, well-produced. but oddly unsatisfying
I gave this show an 8 because objectively it's still better than many romcoms I've seen. The story is cute and fluffy, the actors were charming and did their best with the script they were given. If I turned off my braincells and were in the mood to watch a fun show, I may have given this an even higher score.I was just dissatisfied with the personality of the FL. For a successful, award-winning singer with previous romantic relationships, she seemed very naive and coy. I don't mind that behavior in a youth romance with a student falling in love for the first time, but it was jarring from a character who was set up to be emotionally strong in the opening episode - judging how she reacted to her ex. I thought, "Hey, this girl has BALLS." Then she proceeded to lose IQ/EQ when she crushed on someone she met online.
That may be my own personal preferences/mood but it did affect how much I enjoyed the show, and how I emotionally connected to the romance and the sweet moments. I love age gap romances but I guess I want the FL to act their age. But otherwise, the show meets the criteria of a fluffy Cdrama romance.

So many stupid logic
Ok first off all this is one of the most cute romance i've watch this year. I say cute because lin yi act so cute in here, so difference with his character at put your head on my shoulder. This drama tell a dream where we can get close to our idol. Yeah i don't said it's impossible but i think only 1% or maybe less that can make dream like here come true. But actually drama like this can also become danger for the mind of crazy fans who watch this drama too.
What i like:
• sun bin yu (BY) & ma shan shan (SS) is really the perfect examples of water dripping on the rock. A little by little he crush the rock at SS heart.
• i really like Lin Yi here & also his chemistry with Lulu Xu. I really like Lu Jin (LJ) & Liang Chen (LC) relationship. They can be mature or childish with each other.
• i really like all the soundtrack here, especially the one that 'sang' by LC
There are several stupid or illogical scene in here. It's not stupid plot, just some illogical scene to make the story seem more romantic, but really don't using logic when they write the plot.
1. One of the most ridiculous or impossible scene is when in the winter LJ wait outside all night with that thin sweater, but turn out he's all right not sick or anything, he even could go straight to run for the whole 2 hour nonstop & after that he can just talk with LC without sweating or out of breath. After that he can still have some energy to ride a bike to take LC home, btw how LC come to campus in the first place, isn't she usually drive a car, where is her car if she need to be taken home by LJ. See makes no sense at all...
2. When SS & BY go for picnic, suddenly it's raining & they still decide to back to the car while its obviously there was a tent in their behind. So what the purpose of that tent, just prop to make the background better...?
3. Everyone in the country seem to play that games. Yeah i know sponsor, etc. But still... It's just too obvious. Btw why everytime they show the live broadcast game it's always full of number...? It's like they don't have copyright to show it on the drama.... Doesn't make sense
4. The last episode when the airplane have problem up there, isn't usually we don't know about it until it landing or crash. The screen just show delay and LC is panic already, what the hell, it could be hundreds reason for delay not because of there's problem up there...
Except that stupid scene i mention above there are also some of what i don't like:
- Every man in this drama is so stupid, of course except our main lead, LJ. But even so there is part where LJ acting stupid too, yeah i know he just playing stupid to make him more adorable & cute. Yeah2 i know that stupid man sometimes to make the drama more funny, but still make all the other man seems stupid is not the way...
- SS problem only show little here & there. Yeah i know, she's not the main lead, but i think it will gonna be better to make it more elaborate or maybe they can make it like more involve LC so LC & SS friendship can be closer in a way.
Overall: i really like this drama & maybe i'll gonna re-watch several episode that i think adorable. But i really have to deduct the point because of that stupid scene & logic.

Beautiful
This one was really difficult to rate. I forced myself through the first 5-8 episodes or so, all because I was curious about how things would play out with the main couple. But then, the show just kept getting better and better until I has no choice but to love it. There were some of the most beautiful scenes in this drama. The music. WOW! The music! That one performance at the end of episode 26 gave me full-body goosebumps from beginning to end. And there were so many others. That friend, Taro, and his story with the 2nd female lead was a complete waste of time for me...at first. Then I found myself wanting to see more of them and their story. The chemistry between that main couple was outstanding. I’d totally believe they were or became a couple in real life. I loved both main characters from beginning to end. The college friends were damn hilarious. There’s so much I could have done without but sooooooo much that was outstanding that the beauty won out. I’ll definitely be rewatching this. It’ll be one of my go-to’s for sure. Really could have watched more. Gonna miss them.

Puppy love, cute and fluff in a peaceful world
For me, this drama is a special gem.First of all, the story might not look like it deserves the rating 10/10. I hardly ever give such a high rating to any drama - dramas tend to always lack something. Even a masterpiece stories tend to drag so much, that I would lost the interest in the last episodes and just rushed to the ending. This is were this drama was different to me. I enjoyed each episode and each moment so much from the beginning till the end, that I would happily come for more - no matter how many episodes.
I've felt in love with simplicity, feel-good content, pure love story which happens probably in some perfect world without evil existing. Ou main leads are very lucky people which happen to have it all and everythings go their way. It's too perfect to be real, but after watching so many dramas full of angst, nerve wracking romances, I gladly enjoyed this peaceful content.
Let's begin with the music - oh boy, when I started watching the first episode, the opening song and visual effects were the things that caught my attention - it was energetic, harmenous, well produced. The song made me fall in love with it right away and I didn't want to skip any openings from them on. I love all the soundtrack from the drama - even the subtle Tchaikovsky's violin played by main lead - such beautiful notes.
The visual effects, the colors, the camera work were all great.
Let's talk about our main leads...
Liang Chen is a very succesful artist. Even though she is very popular and well-known, somehow she can still has her normal social life. Everyone supporst her and her choices, which is so different from what we usually get in dramas about stars. It looks like Liang Chen's universe is a pretty peaceful place and nothing really wrong could happen to her. It's naive, but I'm glad they made the story so calm. It's a healing drama and thank you for that :)
Lu Jing is a very smart, loyal, cute puppy who loves only Liang Chen from the very beginning. He is a popular boy, but in his heart there was never a place for any other girl. At first I felt like there was a thin line between his pure, kind intention of simply loving and adoring female lead and... turning him into a psycho fan. Lu Jing's love feel a bit like obsession, it gives this sort of vibe and I was a bit nervous, how this character would changed, if he was a second male lead turned down by female lead - I could easily picture Lu Jing turning into a psycho, thanks to his obsession, really. Thankfully that wasn't the case. Lu Jing is the main male lead, his puppy love turns into a real thing and he is all lovey-dovey cute sweetness fluffy boy that would do anything just for his beloved.
The drama does have loop holes and some inconsistent moments, but I'm gonna pretend these don't exist. I enjoyed the peacefullness and fluff of this drama so much, that it really earned a special place in my heart. I really need more such dramas and I hope China will provide us with similar contents more often in the future. Please do so.
I'm definitely gonna rewatch this drama some time in the future to enjoy the energy, the chemistry and the fluff all over again.

Fluffy and laidback with excellent music
This is simple, fluffy drama with low-tension, something to kick back to at the end of a long day or a lazy weekend. It gives Love O2O vibes; even beyond the similar gaming, campus life, silent/snarky/computer-genius male lead elements, something about the writing and production felt like I was watching a spin-off.Despite the gaming and entertainment industry tags, this show is pretty relaxed. I think all the turtlenecks, fuzzy sweaters and large coats add to the cozy feeling. In fact, this drama barely feels like its premise. It does not feel like popular, famous person falls for non-celebrity and really does not feel like older female/younger male. Our female lead, certainly, does not really like a big celebrity. This is probably because she is pretty down-to-earth and 65% of the time she was lounging at home in pajamas. Our two leads feel very equal and the relationship is very wholesome with lots of sugary, fluffy moments. The acting is decent and chemistry they have is very cute and helps carry the entire show. That aside, I do really appreciate that ample time is spent on her career and goals outside of the romance. Main leads aside, the second couple had a pretty cute romance to. The actress for the second female lead has this subtle enigmatic vibe to her; I think she would do really well in a serious slice of life or mystery drama.
Besides the couple chemistry, the other thing that carried the show is the music. This drama probably has the best OSTs from any modern c-drama ever and they are so catchy, no matter how many times they are repeated. Since it's a pretty laid-back drama, it would be a decent re-watch.
In conclusion, this is a great pick for a no-stress, sugary-sweet romance with a devoted coupled and amazing music.

pure and simple
the story may seem to be mediocre, what with 2 individuals getting attached by just playing an online video game. but what hooked me into it was how Lu Jing's admiration and young love was reciprocated by Liang Chen and developed to a mature one. their chemistry just lightens up the screen and you wanted them to just move on to the next level in every episode.about the cast:
- i can understand that Jia Yun is supposed to be Liang Chen's senior, but i still cringe every time he intends to show his love for Liang Chen. he looks too old for the role. i also don't understand that as an actor he's always involved with Liang Chen business, was he a part of the management team?
- on Taro and Shan Shan, thank God for Taro, that the 2 leads got together, but does he have to be a goofball all the way? as for Shan Shan, i have to skip most of her scenes.
- the rest of the characters are lovable though. the room mates and even Gu Fei Ming! they added to Lu Jing's character development.
if you want a simple love story, that would make you smile and hope for the lovers success, give this a shot.

Fluff & Games
OVERALLThis drama is basically a more basic and slightly more childish version of You Are My Glory. Watch it if 1) obviously, you've watched You Are My Glory and you liked it, 2) you're looking for a pretty light, slice-of-life type of love story, 3) you want a cute romance with several smexy scenes. Maybe skip if 1) you want to see a well-written plot, 2) you like strong female leads, 3) you're looking for an emotional drama.
THE STORY
I'm kind of dead at how similar this drama is to You Are My Glory: the e-sports, the celebrity FL, the scientist ML, competitions, dumb friends....The worst thing is it's made by the same folks (Tencent), and it was released the same year. WTH?!!! In my opinion, You Are My Glory is absolutely superior to Love Scenery, but this drama was still a very decent filler. On the positive side, the love story is coherent; the 'falling in love' part is long enough and written well enough to be believable, and the 'being in love' part is cute and at times very hot. The ML's friends are actually a fun addition to the drama, and their misunderstandings are hilarious. And just like in You Are My Glory, the third wheelers are there but not super annoying...or at least, not for too long. In fact, there aren't any bothersome characters like crazy in-laws, everyone's pretty cool, or at least bearable.
On the negative side, the main characters are not the best. ML is like every single ML in Cdramas, zero originality there, and FL is so spineless and without character, it's kind of annoying to watch (for someone who likes the smart, strong, assertive or even just mischievous and quirky type of FLs). She's supposed to be the oldest and most experienced of the OTP, but somewhat acts like a preteen 90% of the time. Expect second-hand embarrassment with her as well. Secondly, contrarily to You Are My Glory, there's a secondary couple in this drama and their love story is not too cool. I ended up skipping their parts because...yikes. And then finally (but most importantly), the writing is...pretty sloppy in this drama, more so than in You Are My Glory. There're things that aren't fully explained, there're weird cuts between sequences or scenes that don't quite make sense (I'm thinking of one in particular, a love scene, that started out SO random, I can't). And there's just not enough drama in this drama! So much time is wasted on songs and e-sports instead of giving some depth to the series. There's almost no conflicts, no character or relationship development...The drama's all fluff and games, it doesn't have much more to offer.
THE ACTING
Okay! I liked her more than him, I wasn't always impressed by him. They did have good chemistry though, I felt it more than with Yang Yang and Dilraba. The rest of the cast was fine in general, though some more than others. Overall, this isn't a drama that goes deep in emotions so it's not really a drama that showcases the cast's skills. Can't say that much about their acting.
THE MUSIC
Annoying. I personally didn't like the OST - at least, the songs. Somewhat made the show look like a teenage series than something anyone could watch...at least, in my opinion. It reminded me of stuff I used to hear in shows when I was in high school (like Rebelde or High School Musical). Background instrumental music was okay.
REWATCH VALUE
Okay. Not up there, there're better shows to rewatch, but I could see myself watching it again at some point - or at least, some of the scenes!

Honestly one of the best shows ever and don’t let people tell you otherwise!
Love Scenery was honestly just an amazing show. It started out kind of strangely and I thought that I would find myself bored halfway through but boy was I wrong. I was instantly hooked by like the third episode with the characters, their interactions, and how they met. I personally wasn’t a fan of the video game world thing but this drama pulls it off really well in my opinion because they don’t overdo it. They use it here and there but mainly in the beginning and make it so that it doesn’t feel repetitive and cliché. The music is also fricking amazing and holds really good emotional value in the scenes that it is played. The acting is suberb, I love the main leads, they are so talented and really able to emit the love and affection between the characters of the story very well as well as other emotions to make the show interesting, funny, and really enjoyable. Honestly, there is really only 1 maybe 2 downsides to this whole show but they’re so minimal and irrelevant that they really don’t matter and I have to give this a 10/10 regardless because I personally enjoyed it too much compared to any other show and have rewatched it a few times and still find myself coming back and craving for more. Trust me, this drama is seriously amazing. Ignore what the other bad reviews say. Take my advice and give it a shot, you don’t know what you’re missing out on!Questa recensione ti è stata utile?

I absolutely loved this drama for its simplicity and sincerity. It doesn't try to give you more than what it is, which is a sweet and fluffy rom com. The leads oozed with chemistry and I never got bored watching them. This drama stays away from extreme angst, evil antagonist, and unnecessary break ups which made it a refreshing and easy watch. It does take the leads a long time to get together but for once (shockingly), I didn't mind! There were enough sweet moments and quiet gazes between them that kept me interested and looking forward to the next episode. The time they spent together gaming and all their fate-like encounters were well choreographed and I saw why a beautiful idol star would fall in love with a college student. The ML did a great job, as his confidence, charisma, and boyish charm had me smiling and understanding why the FL would be reduced to a puddle around him. I also liked the portrayal of the FL who was independent and strong, yet she was vulnerable and leaned (but was not dependent) on those around her. The ML and FL both came across as equals in the relationship and I absolutely loved their natural chemistry (on and off screen!).
On a side note, the second female lead's struggle with depression was well done and I appreciated the story line. Depression is an uphill battle and right when you think you're okay, something can trigger you and take you right back to square one. It's not something you can just get over because everyone around you thinks its time to let go. It's a personal battle and not one you can fight on your own. I liked seeing how those around her supported her and stuck by her to the end.

Not Bad/ not Good
I started to watch this drama because both leads had been in some of my favorite dramas. I know they are pretty good actors so I thought this is great. I loved Lulu Xu in "The Sunshine Of My Life" and Lin Yi was in "Blessed Girl". But this drama became I like it/ but I hate it. I like the romance and the lead characters had a lot of chemistry. I like that she was a strong personality and new her goal in life. I hated all the playing around in a game and flirting with each other when they did not know who they were and they were in the middle of fighting. I don't mind some but it was a bit to much. I felt the first 20 episode were not necessary. They could have cut it by 10 episodes. The game playing was ok until it became to much. The push and pull game between the lead characters became annoying especially when they kept guessing who new what and who was really Little Box and Herman. I could say that I really did not start enjoying this drama until the 23rd episode. The 2nds lead characters were good but also kept on with the same over and over. I wanted to tell her get over it. and tell him get out of your house and do something. The ending was fine not the best but it is acceptable. I would say that actors performance was good but the script needed work and the director could have done a little better. It is a good one to watch on on a rainy day. There is a lot of good scenes after episode 23.Questa recensione ti è stata utile?

BEAUTIFUL!!!
I just finished it and knew I had to write a review. My ratings speak for me so what else can I say? I MUST SAY I ENJOYED EVERY MOMENT OF THIS SHOW, I found myself rewinding scenes. This show took what other shows would make into unnecessary drama and showed that a show could still be enjoyable without all the misunderstandings. It's the ideal healthy relationship every show should have. My only complain was the last episode felt a bit rushed but I read it was initially supposed to be 35 eps so...oh well.CHEMISTRY: MY GODDDDDDDDD, SIZZLING CAN'T DESCRIBE THEIR CHEMISTRY, THE NATURAL SKINSHIP, THE NERVOUSNESS, EVERYTHING. I- I had so many butterflies in my stomach, it felt like I was laying in a field.
OST'S - PLEASE I NEED THEM ALL IN MY PLAYLIST. One thing I absolutely loved about this show was that there was little to no awkward instrument playing *cough I hear you cough* (God knows those can turn me off a show) and even the lip syncs (If they were) were not obvious.
CHARACTERS: I really wish Shan Shan's story could have been fleshed out a bit more but even with what we got, I found myself crying with her. The love Taro had for her was so beautiful and please LU JING IS GOALS. I love how Liang Chen stuck with her dreams and never cut herself short. Special shout out to SL, I felt his pain and I'm so grateful he wasn't annoying. AND DID I MENTION HOW SUPPORTIVE THE SIDE CHARACTERS WERE? GOD THEIR FAMILIES ARE GOALS.
IN CONCLUSION: You, yes you reading this and wondering if you should watch it, HIT THAT PLAY BUTTON!
THANK YOU TO THE DIRECTORS OF THIS SHOW, I ABSOLUTELY WILL BE REWATCHING THIS!!!
