A simple but entertaining love story
Love it, love it, love it! This drama brought me back to my teenage years when I used to watch anime on Tv. It's the kind of Japan productions I love the most: a romantic and simple story with the right amount of drama to escape from daily life. It will entertain you, it will make you laugh and cry.The characters are well portrayed and true to themselves till the end. The acting is good.
You may say that Sakura is a little too naive and sometimes a little foolish, but that's the reason why the main couple works so good and the plot is so lively.

And while rooting for her crush to like her back, and also seeing her growth and confidence as a nurse side by side, making us viewers cheer for her job too. Great work done in creating a wholesome character.
Became a fan of Takeru Satoh and binged watch all his Rurouni Kenshin movies! (They are wonderful movies, the best)
A 10 episodes short drama with a nice story, perfect for binge watching any day!

Gold quality of tropes and clichés.
Many of us like to say we are done with cold misunderstood male leads and naive and nice female leads, but that’s all a big fat lie. We all just hate when it’s done in a trash way. Koi wa Tsuzuku yo Doko Made mo brings us the best that rom-coms can offer, and I gladly, without any complaints, binge watched the whole show in one day.Yes, Sakura is loud, all over the place and naive. She is also hardworking, pays attention to details and her patients and knows how to fight for what’s important to her.
Yes, Tendo is cold, mean and stoic. He is also cares for his patients, empathetic and driven. Both leads fit into the stereotypical rom-com characters, but represent more than that.
The chemistry between them was amazing. I enjoyed each and every scene they had together, and wished for more. 10 episodes are just not enough!
While the romance is the leading plot, I appreciated how they incorporated different stories in the mix. Yes, everyone gets paired up by the end, and the good old rule of “no one can stay single” exists here too, but I was not mad about it. I watched it for romance, so the more romance I’ve got, the happier I was.
Now, let's be shallow for a second - Sato Takeru is HOT. I mean damn. Could they get anyone better for the role? No. I died. Few times. My poor heart ain’t strong enough to handle him.
The acting was great. It’s truly hard to pull off a role like Sakura and not seem annoying - Kamishiraishi Mone made it happen. I loved the female lead and I was rooting for her during the whole show. I excused every dumb decision and embarrassing moment coz she was impossible for me to dislike and get annoyed or angry at.
The soundtrack is also a bop. All the songs. I wish they turned up the volume a bit though, coz at times I could barely hear the music in the background...
Any complaints? Not really. There are things that others might dislike, like: it’s over the top and amazingly unrealistic. Some rather serious scenes made me laugh a lot with how dramatically they were filmed and edited. There are some characters added ONLY to create some additional conflict, and bring nothing more to the table. And somehow, I liked these aspects too.
Overall, really good rom-com with great chemistry, likeable characters and a perfect amount of 2nd hand embarrassment.

Diagnosis: Full of Fluff
If you like broody male leads, bubbly female protagonists, and seeing semi-dramatic, unrealistic scenarios play out on screen, then this is the manga adaptation for you!Quick review:
-Story: unoriginal, but entertaining: a solid shojo adaptation
-Acting/Cast: amazing performances by everyone, even when the script was lacking
-Music: Worked well, enhanced scenes
-Re-watch value: Probably not worth re-watching, but it is so short you could
To be honest, I had to watch on 1.5x speed, because the cringe moments were so cringe and any time the two main leads were not in a scene together the show became pretty boring. I wish they would have spent more time developing Saikai’s and Nishi’s characters, because they had a lot of potential but ended up flat.
I feel compelled to say that this drama is problematic in a way that I see many shojo being: it’s supportive of infatuation-based relationships over healthy, mutual-respect based ones. But, what’s new? Of course the secondary male lead would be a better boyfriend, but that doesn’t stop our female heroine from being madly in love with the main lead before she even knows him. It’s definitely entertaining, but even such an “innocent” drama has harmful messages.
Overall, you can easily binge this 10 episode drama and enjoy all the classic moments of a jdrama romcom. If you’re on the fence, watch one episode. If you like the first, you’ll like the next nine as it’s a lot more of the same.

Heartwarming Love Story of a Girl who Persevere
What I like about this series is the fact that the female lead, Sakura Nanase, is not cringey. She is sometimes clumsy and a little klutz, but she ought to improve herself especially her skills to become a great nurse.
She persevere on both work and her way to Tendo's heart, and she absolutely deserve it!
She is also not the damsel in distress type of female lead (unlike many dramas). That's why she also deserve the Warrior Chick label.
Takeru's acting of being cool all the time amazes me because when I watched his other series, he always have this big wide eyes that makes him friendly. I am glad that he always make sure that his eyes are always kind of squinting to avoid showing other emotions aside from stone cold.
Another thing that I like about this is that they are not scared to have repeated kissing and hugging (especially that this is a JDrama). It always makes my heart flutter when they kiss and Nanase-chan's child lile expression always get me.
Story wise, I like that it does not have too many conflicts like other love stories. Its always straight to the point and even the supporting characters are all great! No overaching drama at all!
If you are looking for a fluffy and sweet romantic series, this is definitely worth your time. ❤

As an RN, I was initially very annoyed by this show
I'll start with the positives:Cute show, no angst, lovely second male lead that wants the object of his affection to be happy, fun/funny co-workers. The premise was far-fetched but enjoyable to watch, for the most part. I felt that the male lead's attitude toward the female lead was misogynistic, but was willing to overlook this just to continue to watch actor Satoh Takeru, who was wonderful in this role. Their relationship was easy to watch and I kept holding on for the change in his attitude. And can I just talk about his stares and the kissing scenes? Worth watching this show if for no other reason than that. There is one scene where he gets emotional and you finally get to know his heart. I think Takeru smiled twice in this show, and those smiles were a treat because they were so rare.
Things that bugged me:
Sakura Nanase was loud, somewhat irritating, inept, immature and clueless at the beginning of this show. I mean, the second time you meet a man you tell him that you love him and you've followed him to his place of work?!?! I don't care for these types of women in the shows that I watch, they seem so spineless to me. I found myself getting angry during the first two episodes. I realize that she was a new nurse, but she was like a bull in a china shop and all I kept thinking was "how in the world did she pass nursing school"?! My next thought was, unless Japan has completely different metrics for patient-to-nurse ratios, there is no way that these nurses would have time to wander the hospital, sit in the cafeteria with patients, etc. It was very unrealistic. And there was so much gossiping going on among the staff. The character of Tendo Kairi was a TOTAL tsundere. He was actually mean to Sakura and called her names throughout (which apparently was supposed to be an ongoing theme), but I didn't care for that. And with him being a brilliant doctor and her being an idiot, I didn't see how he could like her. One more pet peeve (this applies to SO MANY shows!) - why in the world does she continue to call him Sensei when they are dating? That just puts a distance between them that doesn't need to be there.
The positives definitely outweighed the negatives, it became more enjoyable as the episodes went on, it was concise at only 10 episodes, and I'm glad I watched this show.

Trope-y, but with a lot of heart
The biggest thing I appreciated about this drama was how it showed there are no bad people in the world; there are only hurt people. The most meaningful takeaway for me was this: as long as you treat people with kindness, love, and sincerity, you will receive it in return. If this drama were only about that, I'd easily give it a 10. Ironically, I feel like it's the romance that dulls its shine.Look, I don't mind trope-y tropes once in a while, but the ML just felt so wooden to me. All he does 90% of the time is give squinty, smoldering looks, brood, and fling insults. I know it's supposed to be his "personality", but the delivery didn't land for me either. However, I did love the couple's cute moments, and I think the ML did well for the more emotional bits.
Romance aside, I found the supporting cast endearing, and the hospital plotlines heart-warming and tear-jerking. There were also many funny bits that gave me a good laugh. I would've liked a more realistic romance, but at the core of this drama beats a strong heart full of love for humanity and I love it for that.

This drama has literally everything I can ask for in a basic drama. Cute fluff scenes, hard-hitting crying moments, and moments you just want to pull your hair out because of 2nd hand embarrassment. First of all the storyline is perfect for a basic cute drama. It doesn't involve too many problems which I enjoy and the 2nd leads don't involve themselves in the main lead's life as much as I thought they would (which is a good thing for me). I read the shojo manga before I stumbled upon the drama so I didn't have high expectations but after watching
The acting was good and think they chose great actors and actresses while bassing it off the manga. All the character's troubles made me sympathize with each and every one of them. Not to mention I think I've fallen for Sato. He played the role too well.
Although this is a medical drama it's not very accurate but I don't really mind as much cause I went into this drama for the romance.
If you want to start a Japanese drama I think this is probably the best one especially if you're into more romance and fluff stuff.

Somebody in Hollywood Hire Satoh, Already!
"An Incurable Case of Love" owes much to Satoh Takeru's stellar performance as a surgeon; his magnetic presence, depth and charisma carries the series. It's a fun series when you need to pass time, relax and switch off your brain. As one of Japan's most acclaimed actors, Satoh Takeru is known for his meticulous selection of roles — he established his own talent agency — and all of his performances are compelling. It is always astonishing to remember that Satoh is only 35 years old, has been acting 18 years, and is already considered a craftsman in his field. He is actually quite an engaging and amusing personality; he regularly appears on his Youtube in absolutely hilarious content and very sarcastic commentary. His "2023 Awards" video, where he decides best movie, music, etc, had me laughing till my cheeks hurt!
A good actor can elevate a lacklustre production Here, Satoh's surgeon is characterised by a stoic demeanor and minimal dialogue and his harsh exterior masks deep repressed emotion. There is also undeniable sex appeal that adds intrigue to an otherwise thin narrative. Viewers are encouraged to overlook plot stretches, age differences and unrealistic workplace behaviours. Skip the first 4 episodes if you're impatient.
We sincerely hope Satoh achieves global recognition and roles of greater depth that further showcase his complex appeal and acting prowess. And surely that's not far off: on Youtube in early 2024, he mentioned that he had met with a leading Hollywood talent agency in late 2023.

This was AMAZING
Honestly one of the most enjoyable dramas I've watched in a longggg time. It kept my interest and the chemistry between the leads was chefs kiss. Would recommend to all and I know this may be a reach for some people but I found this to be up there with strong woman do bong soon. It had a similar vibe and ugh just so flippin briliant. I especially loved the hero skit which was actually funny and the love triangle was bearable. the side stories were engaging and although it may not be super intense like other medical dramas, it seemed to fit in with the light hearted feel of the show. I was also happy to find that it wasn't fixated on how helpless the female lead was, but instead focused on how she would better herself for herself and how that developed over time.Questa recensione ti è stata utile?
