EPISODE 21

I was gonna give this a 7, even though how hockey is portrayed is completely unrealistic, and well, really, a lot of things were super unrealistic. But because there was never any super annoying drama, I was gonna give it a pass. And then came episode 21. Episode 21 is the most degenerate episode. We don't talk about episode 21. That episode ruined my 7 rating, turning it into just a boring 6.5.

Also, the dude does so many genuine things to help the chick and protect her, yet never expected anything in return. Never even mentioned all that he did. He also didn’t blow up in anger when she called him a liar when he could’ve called her out for being a hypocrite—as she is also a liar. He lied (by omission) about a health condition; she lied about her own gender. There's a difference and a similarity in those. But she's the one that gets the angriest? The dude is warranted anger as well. And they both knew each others' secret before they revealed it so... both liars.

Binge Worthy, Light Weighted Fluff

Please watch past the first two eps before you decide if you want to continue! The first two eps were trash, but I'm glad I decided to continue anyway. This is definitely a feel-good drama. The story is nothing special and follows the cliches. Like the director of the drama even said this concept has been done before and that the only thing that makes this drama stand out is its focus on hockey. This is probably the only reason I stuck with this drama and its storyline. Nonetheless, the drama was addicting and managed to make me watch all 24 eps. I would've enjoyed this drama even more if they actually gave more focus to hockey than the romance. As for the acting, it was not the best, and cringe at times. I think this was partly due to the dubbing, which I think always ruins the naturalness of a drama. The chemistry was there between the main leads; however, all the kissing scenes were unnatural. For the music. it was nothing special but still catchy.

To those deciding whether to check this drama out, this review is for you.
Not gonna lie, the first two episodes are cringy and you may think this is one of those terrible tries at comedy. But I assure you, from Episode 3 you'll be laughing your heart out! It's a really good light-hearted romcom that is a fun watch. You'll want to keep watching episodes because of how fun and enjoyable it is. Main leads have great chemistry, and there was a lot of almost-kisses that look unrealistic and cringy but it doesn't last too long so it's okay.
At first I didn't like the female lead but she's really nice once you see her in many episodes. She isn't so annoying also so that's a plus. Though her dub is not that great it isn't the biggest problem.
All in all, it's a great watch if you want to feel happier and smile. The dub might sound terrible at first but it's easy to get used to. Hockey and ice skating scenes are great too, not overboard dramatic. Go and try it out!

Must watch !!!!!

I really loved this drama ..so much honestly I am not over it at all ...it was soooo good ..Darren was so handsome ✌️? . The scenes were super cute af . The chemistry between the leads was amazing ..they both looked so cute together ...OSTS are soo romantic It will make you fall in love with this drama I loved how sebrina disguised as boy . Her acting was superb..I love everything about this drama from story to each and every scene. I really want to know the writer . He / she is required amazing... Its in my top 3 of my favourite ..I am sure if you watch the first 2 ep you will fall in love with this drama❤️❤️ ..that's for sure ..
Kisses are soooooooo cheesy and cute ? ? .I want season ✌️ .? Bbye njoyed watching it . You will njoy too

A winner from the first episode

From the first episode, I knew that I was gonna love this drama and it didn't disappoint.

This coming of age drama has very little angst. The leads' OTP status continues to get validated from the first kiss until the last scene. They were very much protected by their protagonists' halos and everything worked out fine in the end of them. Side characters moved on easily and had their own romances. Conflicts were resolved in 1-2 episodes.

This is the most manly role Darren Chen ever had as ML in my opinion. I liked that he never overacted. If his character was portrayed by another actor, it would have been annoying, but with him and his dimples, WenBing came off as mischievous but still caring. Sabrina Chen as the FL Sangtian had a really good chemistry with him. The accidental kisses, playful banters and teasing confessions were nicely executed. I just sometimes felt that Sabrina seemed uncomfortable with her hockey stick, but I chose to overlook it.

Uh... Okay

Honestly, started watching this after seeing Darren in Meteor Garden. And I've never seen this actress anywhere else. So this review is solely based on this drama ONLY.
It was cute, I'll admit. You'll see a lot of blue, pink and purple on the screen. But the story as a whole was cliche and kinda predictable. Also, I'd say that Darren somewhat made me annoyed with his bratty actions. And the girl was cheesy and cliched person, probably never moved on from the teenager hormonal self. She was too jumpy and too much talkative for my liking. I did like the second lead better, but definitely not his elder brother. He was a certified asshole with a face like an ASS.
But still, it was bearable.

Já faz um tempo que eu assisti, mas descobri que um dos meus doramas favoritos n tem uma resenha em português, então tive que agir.
Eu amooo demaaaais esse dorama. Pra começar a atuação impecável dos atores, e a personalidade perfeita dos personagens.
Como sempre Darren Chen arrasando, e interpretando um personagem perfeito.

Eu estava em um hiatus de dorama quando assisti, e My Unicorn Girl me botou de volta nos trilhos. É um dorama suuuper divertido que te faz rir demaaais, com um romance muito lindo e suuuper fofo.

Eu tava meio receosa de assistir pela história ser de uma garota q se passa por um menino, e esse tipo de história n é muito minha cara, mas eu ADOREI e n me arrependi nenhum segundo de ter assistido, lembro de ter me prendido do começo ao fim e de ter soltado algumas lágrimas no final, por infelizmente o dorama ter acabado, mas foi uma experiência incrível, que aqueceu meu coração.

Recomendo demaaais, vi algumas avaliações baixas mas é aquilo q eu sempre penso, assista por você mesmo, o q os outros podem n gostar, vc talvez possa amar e te dê uma ótima experiência! ^-^

Best.Drama.EVER

Ok so this is one of the best dramas I've watched and will always love because I love the chemistry between the leads. I love the actors (especially Darren Chan) and I love how cheesey and fluffy this show is.
And don't even get me started on the MUSIC.
The OST is absolutely AMAZING.
All in all I absolutely recommend this drama 100%. I feel really bad for people who didn't enjoy it cos they really missed out.
So I hope whoever is reading this won't aswell.

The only thing that just bothered me was too many accidental kisses. But I don't personally mind it's just logically that's so many.
But as someone who loves dramas with LOTS of kisses, I love it.

Uma mistura de "Ela é o cara" com "Sorte no Amor"

Essa história tem vários elementos que me lembraram de filmes que já vi no passado e gostei, como o "Sorte no Amor" de 2006.

E se você não sabe do que estou falando, é aquele que a Lindsay Lohan – no auge da sua fama – beijou um cara azarado e a sua sorte virou, literalmente.

Ah, e nem preciso mencionar o quanto lembra a comédia romântica "Ela é o cara", né? Enfim, eu me diverti muuuuito assistindo, principalmente porque ele é carregado de clichês. Num momento você está com vergonha alheia, e no outro, está adorando!

O protagonista masculino é um anjo na terra que tenta se disfarçar de diabinho e falha miseravelmente. E a protagonista feminina não fica muito atrás não, e ainda tem química com o elenco inteiro – inclusive com as mulheres, mais uma semelhança com "Ela é o cara".

Aliás, o que dizer das mulheres deste drama? São todas incríveis, até mesmo aquelas que deveriam ser detestáveis. O elenco masculino também é um charme a parte. <3

Mas assim, não é uma história perfeita, poderia ser melhor em vários pontos e é absurdamente previsível – além de ter alguns rodeios meio nhe. No entanto, deixo minha recomendação para passar um tempo relaxxxx.

I'm bored so just decided to watch anything spontaneous & here I come to My Unicorn Girl. So I start this drama expected nothing & nothing I get in return. If you say this is quite cliché... yes maybe it is. But is that cliché make me bored when watch this drama? No, not really. Do I enjoy my ride watch this drama? You can say so. But nothing special from this drama that can make it stand out too.

What I like from this drama, but also in the same time make me bored watch this drama is...
They have no problem. This is one drama that really lack of problem, a really peaceful drama. No love rival, no stupid jealousy, not even when Sang Tian identity as a woman uncovered they make it into bigger problem. So yeah if you look for this type of drama, you'll gonna love this drama.

What a big problem to me is the hockey part of the drama. They make it look so easy to be a professional hockey player. They just do the bare minumum exercise for the player, nothing even when you compare it with Skate Into Love or any other sport related drama.

The character here you can describe as don't judge the book by it's cover. Everyone like has other personality within themselves. Like Meng Na, she is one feminine girl, but turn out she likes to play online games or Coach Ma who we see as tomboy girl but turn out she has girly side when we looked at her house.

How about our main lead...? I quite like them, their chemistry I don't say all over the top, but yeah they quite fit as a couple. Quite like Wen Bing, he quite mischievous but at the same time he really know how to protect the one that he loves.

Overall this is just one drama to spend your days, nothing a miss even you don't watch this....

guys even if you have not watched cdramas ever in your life ,you DEFINITELY should watch this one , its a MAGICAL drama. I saw a reel on insta about this drama another day i go to youtube searched and watched it continuously..i didn't feel bored at all also I don't feel like to stop seeing even for sec ,i completed all 24 episodes...i literally cried for more than a week bcoz i want to watch more. I was laughing like hell for all the time while watching (it has happy ending) i miss this drama everyday, storyline , acting, expressions,comic time EVERYTHING IS ON HIGH LEVEL , I always regret why i didn't watch this before... MUST MUST MUST WATCH THIS DRAMA FRIENDS
