Shen Jin is one of Duke Rui’s daughters. She is a mischievous and spunky lady who also masquerades as Lord Jin. Her mother is a lowly maid and often gets bullied by her half-sisters and her father’s other consort. The Emperor decrees that the second daughter of the Rui family should be married off to the Earl of Yongning, General Chu Xiu Ming. But General Chu has a notorious reputation as a demonic general. Shen Zi doesn’t want to marry General Chu and argues that Shen Jin is the second daughter as they were born at about the same time.
