disappointed

a fan of both sunghoon and soohyang separately and even as a loveteam (watched their debut drama together and loved their chemistry) which is why i was excited for this. chemistry of soohyang between both male leads are good but i felt like the story focused more on catching the criminal and on the antagonist fl’s story more than building up on woori’s struggles lmaaooo. like they wasted so much ep for that. i know they said that this will be focused on family to cater korean audience but the story still isn’t it. if they wanted to focus on family, they should’ve exhibited it better :( didnt finish the last ep after hearing some spoilers. always fast forwarded some scenes as well while watching other eps. i was so looking forward to this adaptation and was disappointed

Just a bad copy of jane the virgin

Why have this one so high points!?
I had so high hopes for this drama I waited a year!!!!!!!!! And its so bad the story is lacking ,bad actors its getting slower in each episode instead of getting that feeling that u want to watch the next episode when its coming out instead ur skipping half of the episode cause its so slow and boring, almost every scene is from jane the virgin does not the writer have any imagination at all?!
I watched this kdrama cause of sung hoon but im sorry to say not even HIM can save this one If I could I would rate ZERO yepp its that bad 😶

Someone called this in the comments a silly, low-effort rom-com, and at the time of that comment, they were 100% right. This started off and stayed until halfway through, a very silly but very fun remake. I tried watching Jane the Virgin once but never finished it, as the majority of the characters were constantly doing selfish and destructive things, and I don't find watching people be selfish and destructive entertaining. But Woori had kept all the parts of Jane the Virgin that I had enjoyed in and cut out the stuff I didn't, so I was happy enough. I didn't expect to get to the end of the drama and praise it for superb plot or characters, but I did expect to have a good time until the end.

Expectations can really turn on you, can't they?

What was a silly, low-effort rom-com that brought me laughs quickly turned into an unwatchable mess. Ep 9 and 10 were probably our sign that this was going to happen, as they were both paced at a chaotic, breakneck speed. They weren't unenjoyable episodes, but they were very jarring compared to the rest of the series thus far. But ep 11 was worse. Poor editing, no effort at character or plot development, slowly turning the male leads unlikable. And worst of all, it just wasn't funny. I had actually noted to myself at one point that 14 episodes didn't seem like enough time to tell the full story, and I wondered if they would be able to pull it off, but I hadn't factored in the possibility that they never even planned to tell the full story to begin with, and I find that to be rather disrespectful to the audience. Of course, we will never know what their plans were, but I can only presume that they intended to only tell half of the story and maybe get a second season to tell the rest. Or maybe they planned on ending it the way they did and not doing further seasons, because reasons. I don't know. I also don't care.

What bothers me about this drama is that they waited to let it fall apart until we were already into the second half when many of us had become invested. If this had gone sideways and stupid in episode 3 or 4, for example, I could have noped on out with ease and swiftly forgotten about this drama. But no. They had to wait until ep 11 and 12 to go full stupid, and now I'm on the internet complaining about it, because that's what you do when a drama does you dirty. Glad I didn't finish it, but now I'm wishing I hadn't started it to begin with.

Bad acting

I find the female main lead acting is poor and cringe, as well as the male lead....this is such a rip-off of Jane the Virgin that I was expecting it to be fantastic, but I can't force myself to watch an episode without skipping through it till a tolerable part is playing. There isn't much chemistry between the two main leads in the drama....like i know the directors are trynna make it an 14 episode drama but make it good because its horrible.....let me not forget Her ex-boyfriend is also really obnoxious oml.....


I won't recommend this drama at all.....better to watch the original

Disappointing and honestly boring

I've been waiting a year for this drama and it was so boring. The acting was not too bad but the screenplay, music, overall flow of the drama was boring. Nothing about this kept me wanting to keep watching, I was rather forcing myself to continue watching in hopes of it improving. Don’t waste your time

It basically comes down to one thing; don’t waste your time. The story for this drama had the potential to be a great comedy of errors, in the style of Shakespeare, but the writers mucked it up by episode 6.

By episode 3, you could tell the nympho, I mean the virgin (what a joke that is), was trying to figure out how she could get out of her 2 year relationship with her boyfriend once she realized who the donor was and she remembered that kiss from years ago. So when the opportunity dropped in her lap in episode 6, she took it and verbally sliced her boyfriend up claiming he lied to her. Lied to her about not knowing that the donor’s wife was having an affair. Yes, he was reprimanded for not disclosing that information to his superiors, but there’s nothing saying that he did it because of the nympho. Considering he’s been chasing after Chairman Kim for how long? It could’ve easily been for that reason, considering what’s been found out. So basically 1 time in the 2 years of dating he has lied to her was the flimsy excuse she used to break up with him so she could turn around and play kissy face with the donor.

And for her to be hurt by the fact that he was not 100% behind her raising the baby…I’m sorry, most men will have a problem with that. Most men are not real happy about raising another man’s baby with their girlfriend/wife, especially when they haven’t even had sex with them yet. So to ask that of a man that she has given blue balls to for 2 years because of the oath of chastity that she signed, remember he didn’t sign it, she did but he has honored it because he loves her, and she is now hurt that he’s not 100% behind her decision that she made unilaterally without asking about his feelings, is just pure bullshit. And proves she are nothing more than a dog in heat ready to wag your tail.

On top of that, the donor, knowing that they’re in a relationship, uses “it must be fate” as an excuse to worm his way between them so he can break up their relationship slowly without it looking like he’s breaking them up. Give me a break. Cannot be any more obvious how slimy that is.

Bad form, easy out, horrible writing. Cannot believe this even made it into a drama. I cannot express how much I despise this drama and the horrible archetypes it portrays. Ugh. I need a shower now.

what a predictable ride.....

I somehow managed to watch last two episodes while skipping a lot of unnecessary parts lol. So tbh about that ending it's not what I expected and I'm not surprised either. I mean honestly if I think about it now even from the beginning KJ got more screen time than Raphael .Also in the middle episodes Raphael came to the spotlight cuz he started pursuing Woori ...only through a few eps.But then they started centring the drama about KJ and Woori. In my opinion this ending is kinda logical cuz in most kdramas FL ends up with someone who's hot,rich and powerful ( I'm team Raphael too) but nevertheless Woori would be better off without KJ and Raphael. What I didn't like about this drama is ....the plot was over the place in the later half like a typical soap drama lol .It became very predictable and less interesting. Nevertheless I enjoyed watching it ...also I hate the director for not showing Woori's baby bump properly till the end.

2nd ML abused

I started this drama without knowing the original version. At first I wasn't sure which one is the ML, or which one is the 2nd ML. Then by episode 7 or 8, when Woori dumped him, then it's obvious which one is the 2nd ML.

What's upsetting is that in the first half of this drama, a lot of time was invested on that 2nd ML. You gotta fall in love with that guy, he's just the best guy ever. So much that when when Woori dumped him, I became very angry at her and decided to drop this.

I know no one is perfect, and maybe they're not meant to be with other. That's fine. But I'm not a sadist, I don't enjoy to watch the 2nd ML so brokenhearted from episode 7/8 to episode 14 (final)!!

Spoiler, Woori had doubt about the 2nd ML since the beginning of the drama, but then as the show goes on, she was shown to really fall in love with him. Then blamed him for a lie (which is mean because we can see that she lied to him too few times) so it's double standard on her behalf. The real cause she swayed is because of the ML who is rich and handsome (2nd ML is only a cop). Anyhow, whatever, I said people are not perfect. Yep, Sung Hoon is gorgeous and he's a nice guy too. I would love to root for him. But I'm so angry at the writer/director for spending so much time on 2nd ML just so we can see his demise!

Nope, no more of watching this! I feel so betrayed 😡

You can watch it if there is nothing else to watch

I just watched this drama until ep 5… and do hope for the improvement on the storylines… but sorry, it getting boring and the storyline makes me angry and swear a-lot! Hahaha… maybe i just too emotional and disappointed with the drama. They focusing more on the crime and investigation which the detective failed to finish almost all of his job.

Anyway there still a good things happened in this drama. The grandmother and mother are the savior of the story.

You guys can watch it if no other drama to watch. ;)

All the actors are great. It makes me sad that this series has a low rating. I really like this show. I really don’t like to write a novel when writing a review. I like to get straight to the point and end it. But no I have to at least have 500 characters.
Conclusion-I this this is a funny show and I really enjoy it
