Fang Zhu is accused, in public, of murdering the Six Wing Generals so that he could gain favor with the Emperor. His accusers commit suicide, and one stabs his previous wound, causing a relapse. Though he keeps the judicial investigation secret from Hai Shi and Zhuo Ying, hoping that Hai Shi will return quickly to Huangquan pass, Hai Shi finds out and requests the Emperor that she stay to investigate the accusations.
