The episode begins with Ishida getting an unknown call who just so happens to be Mizusawa Ryusei, Mitari Yo ex-boyfriend, who ran out on her 5 years ago. Mizusawa reaches out to Ishida Ren to make intention known that he wants to pursue Mitari again. Maki sets Mitari up on a blind date with her cousin. She hopes to get Mitari out of the way of her relationship with Ishida even after Ishida told her not to.
