Okay this one is pretty different. They smashed like 4 epeiosdes of the first one into one, which is always fun. So that means we are probably going to get more details. okay bye!
story is choppy / disjointed as f*ck. guess the director really assumed anyone/everyone watching - would've already seen the first version. so they would just use that knowledge to fill in the blanks - cause going just by this, there r a load of WTF moments that really don't make any sense. PITY! if ur gonna redo something why Not make it better?!? *************************like Yo getting angry at Pha telling him that Froth was interested in him - here in episode 3 there was almost nothing between the leads - unlike the first drama, where this whole scene takes place in episode 8-9 even maybe 10 - i.e. quite a lot of "water" under that bridge, and they have a few scene where there is a connection that can be understood as more then just being buds. so there Yo's anger was justified - here it was out of the blue and anyone else in Pha's place, would be wondering what the heck is going on and why Yo's wigging out.. ****************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************same with Ming's infatuation with Kit, let alone Kit's animosity - there it was logical cause there was build-up. here it's like why u being catty towards a junior that didn't really do anything to u?!? other then say u were cute and were called kitkat in his click - really??? that reason enough to get this butthurt?!? meeh *****************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************i don't have problem with the actors, but the way this has been written and directed - i get they trying to make this more inclusive of the other side-stories and not only focuses on the leads. but at what cost?? nothing flows naturally and we've gotta see the first one to get how this seems logical? aish!
I feel like the cast is starting to settle into these characters a bit more. I still find myself comparing them to the old cast, but not nearly as much with this episode compared to the first two. I'm hoping I'll get to a point where I won't think about the first cast so much. Forth really stood out to me at the end of this episode, and it was hard for me to remember how he was played in season 1. Here's hoping I have similar moments with the rest of the cast.
