Normally I wouldn't write a review but this drama left me very unsatisfied and I felt it necessary as I practically had to force myself to finish the ending. It also left me with an upset stomach all night. This is going to be hard without revealing spoilers but I'll try my best. And please remember this is MY personal opinion, I don't expect everyone to feel the same way.Regarding the STORY: This plot would have been overused and bland if it didn't have Yang Eun Bi in a role reversal - her being the strong one and Cha Chi Soo being more of the damsel in distress. My problem with this is that I felt it was executed poorly. I found Cha Chi Soo being six years younger than Yang Eun Bi to be an extreme turn off (honestly it's always a turn off for me but I can go with it in other dramas with better execution) and unnecessary to the story as he was also the rich boy pretty type who was supposed to get off his high horse and grow/develop. But to me, he was a spoiled selfish brat the entire time. Yes, in the end he "gives up everything" to be with Eun Bi but his last lines left me feeling like nothing had changed. He still expected everything and everyone to fall at his feet at the click of his fingers. Yang Eun Bi's character just returns to how she'd originally been, headstrong and seeing her love through with everything she's got - exactly how we found her in the beginning albeit a little more honestly in that Cha Chi Soo hasn't been deceived to her being a girly girl. In my opinion, there was no character development in any of the characters except Ba Wool who just grabbed the white swan in the end and just went for it, no longer being hesitant and cowardly in love.
The CAST: I have no qualms about the cast as they introduced me to my love Lee Ki Woo (Kang Hyuk), and I found Ba Wool and Hyun Woo to be lovable but otherwise have no opinion.
On ACTING: I enjoyed the characters as far as comedic and feel-good scenes but was unconvinced with the love scenes. I understand you can't choose who you fall in love with and a relationship's not always going to be easy, but to me, Eun Bi just came off to be suffering the entire time, the end didn't even feel like she really realized she was in love.
MUSIC: Honestly, I can't tell you a single track I remember clearly from this drama or any part of a track I wanted to go find and listen to again. The only thing I can remember sound wise is the sound effect at the end of each episode where the stills move to nudge each other. So this is a fail?
REWATCH VALUE: From my comments in the story section, I think you know I would give this a zero if it were an option. I would honestly only rewatch three scenes from this drama and they all include sleepy sweetie Kang Hyuk: when Kang Hyuk (in nothing but a towel, mmph!) finally reveals himself to be living with Eun Bi in the beginning; when the orphanage women come to make kimchi and get the wrong impression of Eun Bi having a husband and lover whilst living with two other school boys; and the scene where Kang Hyuk thinks White Lily's name is white bitch.
OVERALL: I gave this a 5 because I feel certain people can enjoy this drama but for me, it was no good. I understand dramas with open-endings and realistic approaches (come on, I got over the ending for 49 Days) but do you think I want that when the title of the show is Flower Boy Ramyun Shop? No, I'm looking for something funny and romantic to get away from real life, not have it slap me back in the face.

I really thought I would like this but I didn’t. Acting was okay but the story was just terrible. First of all it’s normal to be attracted to an attractive person but when you realize the status such as age and position (student) you should back up.I understand they’re real ages are quite close but the portrayal (character) is not.
There is nothing cute about a teacher/ intern dating her student. To make matters worse we are given a mature, loving and kind 2ML and what does the FL do? Dates/ falls for her student instead. Just noooo.

Acting---Main coule=amazing chemistry...The thing that get me hooked in most drama's it's acting, chemistry and story..And this had all!The main couple was cute and fit together like puzzle!I wish they were couple in real life too!Jung Il woo our main sexy guy was really funny and sometimes serious..I love his expression when he is sad or angry OR jealous!I think humor is part of his life and that's why i love him..Even in serious situation he can turn it to funny one!
Music----Arrghhhh first...music fit to every scene..that means when there was funny scene there was funnt music too!I most love Jung Il woo song:Someone like u which i sing along everytime it was playing! It's a sad song which was played in sad moments of this drama(which wasn't much).
Rewatch value----YES!!!!Absolutely rewatch it!You know there are too many funny moments to just forget it...Not long ago my dog died and i couldn't get back to myself..My mom know all dramas i watched so...she sat me down and played this to me...and u know what? Finally in night i didn't had nightmares..Jung Il Woo have talent to lullaby me to sleep so..thanks to him i can sleep easly now!

Coming to the drama - I didn't start watching this with any expectations at all. I knew what I was getting into. That really helped me get through it. I knew the story would be predictable, I knew there'd be ridiculously foolish scenes and scenarios that shot to somehow make the audience laugh (they made me cringe sometimes) and I knew I will avoid another Flower Boy show with fervor. Despite all of that, I enjoyed the show. I really did. It was a fairly entertaining drama. All the antics of the lead characters were really amusing to watch, you laugh at their attempts to make you laugh only because they try so hard :P
There were some surprisingly good scripted scenes which elevated the standard of the show. The pace of the show is so light and breezy that you don't feel a thing as it carries you along with it. How much ever I like watching meaningful and intense dramas that rile me up, breather shows like this are a necessity when you're a drama addict and need to detox once in a while.
I didn't skip even once (I'm a major skipper when it comes to silliness and predictability) even though there were scenes that deserved getting skipped mainly because they passed by soon. 16 hours and I didn't even realize it until I finished episode 15.
The main leads did a good job in my opinion. They were believable in their respective roles. The supporting cast was a whole different dimension though, but I'm not going to start about that otherwise the warm buzz that I'm feeling after the end of the show will evaporate and be replaced by the annoyance I felt towards the stupid young side characters and novice actors.
Music was good. There were just 2-3 main songs that were repeated throughout and they were pretty decent and soothing. There was an overload of Bruno Mars whenever somebody went to the ChaSung Cafe though :P
I wouldn't watch the show again though, there weren't any especially endearing romance that I'd want to see again. But that doesn't mean I didn't enjoy it the one time I did see it. It's just not something I'd devote time to again.
Verdict: If you're in the mood for something super light that doesn't hurt your brain or eyes and can make you laugh as well, give it a shot. If nothing, at least you won't be disappointed if you won't have high expectations, trust me on that. Warning: The show's storyline has little to do with the title. Don't jump in thinking you'll get to learn stuff about Ramen. Watch The Ramen Girl if you want to do that.

I'm not a person who laughs a lot, but this did have many moments that made me smirk (internally, but hey).
It's nice to know I can always pay a visit to the Flower Boy Ramyun Shop and just relax.

it's my favorite
I couldn't choose what to watch so I put this on with no expectations. It is my fave I have ever seen. I could do with less talk about poop...and a lot of it was very unrealistic and kind of made no sense. BUT it was wacky and silly and cute and had the best love triangle and the male lead was possessive and swoon worthy as was the second lead. very light hearted easy to watch romance and I think it's going to be my comfort show that I come back to over and over.I typically like things that are toxic, like nevertheless or cheese in the trap and whole this isn't, I think that is why it will be an easy light comfort show for me. I was smiling and laughing so much while watching it.

More Flower Boy
This is your normal, silly, love triangle, predictable and light-hearted romantic comedy. From the title, I was expecting more emphasis on Ramen, or food in general, but it was not so.This drama is basically one big cliché without much depth to the characters or the story. If you're in the mood for some nice eye candy and some cringe-inducing comedy (poop jokes) then this drama is for you. Other than that, no story or plot exists, that can explain the relationship between the leads other than two random people are put together and now they somehow caught feelings. I do love a noona romance but this is just too far-fetched to me.

The acting was good enough for me. It wasn't spectacular, but it isn't horrific. In other words, I suppose it was mediocore. The main character is the typical not-your-typical-pretty-girl character. Throughout the show, we are treated to her less than palatable habits and see her unflattering side numerous times. If that is not your taste, and you like to pretend that your main characters are fairy princesses who have no need for the toilet, then I suggest you run for the hills and never look back.
The music is forgettable enough for me to be unable to recall any of the OST even though I have just finished it recently. But it served its purpose well.
I certainly won't be rewatching this again. There aren't any scenes that are particularly impressionable and left me pinned to my seat; my time would be better spent hunting for new dramas to watch haha.
It was a fun ride for the most part. It isn't a show that will have you clamoring for more, leaving you with a strange emptiness when you finish. But it is still a good watch and I will recommend this if you are looking for some time to kill.

In Short: A great start to the Oh Boy! franchise, and a wholly satisfying and fun drama. Really went for that constipation metaphor. I wonder if maybe people shouldn't eat too much ramyun.
Pros: Sweet and funny, cheeky romance and great side characters.
Cons: I don’t really buy that Jung Il Woo is in high school here, despite the blatant immaturity of the character. Might be for the best. Avoids the creepiness of an adult woman ACTUALLY dating a high school student.
