Wei Ying Luo is interrogated using occult arts to bring about the death of Noble Consort Gao but presents evidence that she was framed. Erqing exposes Wei Ying Luo's and Fuca Fuheng's rendezvous to the emperor, who imprisons her. Fuca Fuheng sacrifices to grant her freedom but it is at the expense of her broken heart.
