Le Coup de Foudre (2019)

I dont like the plot, a lot of skip scene and unexplained scene, for first very boring, its more interesting at middle and last,the acting hmmm maybe no have feeling, a little lame, for first i watch this film because the lead female, but the acting sometimes like a newbie. And have a scene that not displayed but in the next story telling about that scene, because this is china film so i will worry the film being cut or not, because some film have a cut scene or jumping scene, like empress of china, the drama in website and youtube is different jumping scene, cut scene all in there,no version is compeleted,so i will worry about it

Honestly, before watching this drama, I actually read reviews and I found out that the rating was actually very high (8.7 , high expectation) so I started to wonder and tried to wacth. At the first episode, I was like a little bit confused because the plot and setting was really confusing. Why? Because the story lapses from three different times (current situation, during high school days(4 years ago), and before the current situation) confusing right? I watch 'till ep. 3 then my excitement was just like a rain which flows to the ground drastically. I really the
plot that they are already showing the whole current situation (unlike in other flashback plot that they just showed the glimpse of the future then going back to the past) . Tagalogin ko ha, yung plot kase nila ah masyado ng marami ang pinapakita sa current situation na happy ending na agad tas nag sasama na yung both characters, nakakapatay ng excitement. Ok lang sana magpakita ng situation nila ngayon pero sana pasilip lang. Tatlong time kase nag lalapse yung story, nakakapatay talaga ng excitement. I think marami ang mag didis agree sakin kase halos lahat maganda ang reviews, but well this really killed my mood today. I was very irritated yung pati yung hilig mo sa panonood parang nakaka tamad nadin dahil lng sa napanood mo ngayon. Try ko ulit ituloy kase i stopped 'till ep 3 then I will jump to ep 11, tignan natin.

The most interesting start to a romcom I've seen in a long while.

I think I'm going to love this show.

The show has already kicked off in a way I haven't seen before in similar dramas. I'm a fan of the female lead, Janice Wu, having seen her in Skate Into Love so of course I love her character already. The camera direction is also quite interesting, with direct-to-camera monologues and a nice halo effect for the cinematography.

Not to mention the story itself has started off a bit differently. It's not your typical Boy meets Girl scenario, as our leads have a history. Boy has already met Girl and they didn't end it well, so already I'm intrigued. What happened? Why did they break up? I'm reminded of one of my favourite books - Persuasion, by Jane Austen - and I'm excited to see how it all unfolds...
