Avengers Social Club (2017)

Though the story are quite different it really sends off similar vibes and brings up similar topics : women empowerement, sweet & classy revenge, women's friendships, women's social issues (in work...). ASC seems to be slightly better executed, tho ~

Both dramas involve women coming together for revenge, with strong female characters and smart male lead.......

Both drama revolve around a group of people that come together and take revenge on those that wronged them and others.

Yoshino Michi is 32 years old. She's been married for five years, but hasn't had sex for the last two. It's not as if she doesn't get along with her husband, it's just that the sex part is lacking. It was a bit unexpected, but one night when she when drinking with her colleague, Niina Makoto, she wound up confessing that her marriage had turned sexless. And then, a shocked Niina responded "My marriage is sexless, too," and smiled with a lonely look in his eyes.

Both dramas deal about strong females that take revenge on the men that wronged them. Both are very similar in terms of feeling, characters and themes.

It's too early to tell what direction Mistress is going for but based on what I've seen so far, it shares certain similarities and vibes with Avengers Social Club.

Both dramas revolve around these four interesting people, mostly middle-aged women (Mistress's ensemble is portrayed a bit younger in comparison, though), who are bind by this unique and complex relationship—friendships that are in one way or another linked to revenge, which is likely provoked by their respective husbands, lovers/love interests (or [maybe] ex-husband/lover, in the case of the Mistress), and/or [possibly] other people. This aspect of the drama is a lot clearer in AVG since its focus is more on life and friendship (so it has more comedic and feel-good elements), unlike the Mistress which [might] focus more on mystery and romance (so it has more suspenseful and darker elements).

Moreover, both dramas are consist of only 12 episodes, so they are definitely binge-worthy!

- Similar genres; comedy, revenge, dark humor, friendship, family and solidarity
- Important themes are treated in both drama, such as infidelity, misogyny, corruption
- Actor Choi Byung-Mo stars in both dramas
- Overall both dramas have a similar vibe
- Both dramas are great and highly recommended :)

Both series follow three women on their journey to execute revenge on those in their social and personal lives. Also, both series have cheating spouses.

Both of these are female-centric dramas about women from different walks of life who come together and work towards a certain goal and become friends along the way. Both are also comedic with serious elements. If you like one of these it is very likely you will enjoy the other.

Both dramas beautifully depict how a woman (or women) takes revenge on men (their husbands) for different reasons. Both the shows uncover great revenge stories which are fun to watch for the audience.

Group of women coming together to take revenge against those who have wrong them. The females are pretty strong. Although i just started Kangoku, i can see the similarities.
