Both male leads are major germaphobes and make the companies they run do insane procedures to keep it clean, but they slowly change upon meeting the female lead. Both female leads are strong independent women. The shows also share the theme of Rich Man/Poor Woman.

Both have quirky bosses falling in love with their subordinates. Both series are funny. Lead girl in SWDBS is "sweet" and kind of "feisty" in her own way. Lead actress in Fox's Summer is sassy and feisty.

Both series are funny with lead actresses playing sassy and feisty roles. Coincidentally, both lead male roles are germaphobes.

Both have quirky bosses falling in love with their subordinates. Fox's Summer is a fluffier and funny series, with a sassy and feisty lead girl. No paranormal or fantasy storyline in FS.

The female lead lies a lot; male lead detests lies and liers...
Female lead will use any means to attach herself to the male lead
The male lead likes to distance himself from others and doesn't really have any friends..
Other than his secretary.. and an immature male cousins of his.

His and hers families are broken.
He has a sic mother.

Female's motive for loving him are always the money as she loves them and he has them.

Its pretty similar...

The have family's and companies matters involved..
Both females have disappointing mothers .. males have meddling family members.

both drams have 2 brothers that are treated differently because of their mothers and biology. in fox`s summer, the male lead is grateful to the family that raised him but in pretty man, he doesn't want anything to do with that family. the main lead in pretty man has similar characteristics to the main female in fox`s summer. they are both looked down on by of a certain member of their family/stepfamily but they don`t let it bother them and try hard to make something of themselves without the need of their family name or position. both male leads are also the CEO of their company and have worked their way there on their own merit.
