Great historical period drama

I love historic period dramas, and I was pleasantly surprised with this drama - and time travelling was amazing add to it. Sure, the plot has its issues and plot holes, but once you ignore them, you can really enjoy this drama. I also really loved that the main woman Soo Jung wasn't a shy or clumsy girl, but a witty, confident and even rude! We don't really see that in many dramas, and it was a positive thing to see that made me wanna watch more.
The characters are well written and fun, and even the annoying ones (I'm looking at you Go Il Yong) I found really likeable and grow fond of. And all the couples are so shipable and have great chemistry together, espeically Soo Jung and On Dal. Also the kisses between them were actually steamy and realistic than most Kdramas, another plus!
There were some plot holes, as I mentioned, but mostly I wish we knew more of Boong Boong (also one of my favorite characters, the car lol) - has it always been a time travelling car? Where did it get its powers, and why did it choose Soo Jung to travel her back in time, and travel her around? But well. I guess they wanted to leave that to a mystery.

Perfect for GONGLEE couple fans

If youre looking for a short series, this is perfect for you.
Cinematography: well, it's pretty good and simple. The color is soothing to the eyes. The editing is quite awesome as well!
Cast: The cast is perfect. Of course Jong Hyun and Seung Yeon make a perfect pair. Their acting is impressive. They can pull off romance, drama, and comedy. I was surprised to be honest.
Musical scoring: I am very satisfied with its OST.
The sound fx is 100! It brought color and humor to scenes that needed them. It hit the punch lines and it targeted the perfect scenes that needed those kinds of sound/music.
All songs are perfect and heartwarming.

This, I believe, was made actually for the gonglee couple since a lot of details about them are in this drama ?

This drama kept popping up on my "N" recommended list and after ignoring it many many times I finally decided to give it a try. And I was pleasantly surprised. It is a cute, fun, and sometimes quirky drama to watch. Even though some of the actors are not well known or well established yet, they did a really good job with the help of some veteran supporting actors. I was really impressed with Seungyeon whom I had only ever seen in one other drama. She was able to express a good range of emotions in this and made me look forward to other dramas from her. The writer and director also do a good job of keeping the drama fairly light hearted. Sure there are some plot holes but I was enjoying the show so much, especially towards the end, that I didn't really care about them. If you need a break from the more intense dramas, then this one is a good pallet cleanser.

My Only Love Song est une histoire principalement historique, romantique et surtout comique.
Il y a plusieurs séries comme celle-ci où une fille qui vie dans les temps modernes se retrouve, par un phénomène surnaturel inexpliqué, projeté bien loin dans le passé.

Alors je vous accorde qu'au début, je me suis demandée si j'allais vraiment le regarder jusqu'au bout mais j'ai continué puis, passé quelques épisodes, je ne pouvais plus m'arrêter.

Au début, ce que m'a gêné le plus est principalement lié au personnage de Su Jeong. Oui je comprends que c'est un personnage supposé être prétentieux de nature mais je trouve qu'ils ont vraiment poussé ça à l'extrême. Elle est limite hystérique a plusieurs moment est ce n'est pas vraiment agréable à regarder. Même pour le personnage de On Dal, au début, j'avais un peu de mal. Mais au fur est à mesure que l'histoire avancée, les personnages principaux changeaient et on fini par se retrouver avec beaucoup de moments plein de douceur et / ou de tendresse. On se retrouve coincer avec eux dans l'histoire et on veut vraiment savoir comment ca va se finir pour eux leur souhaitant évidement a tous une happy ending.

Malgré la longueur de 20 épisodes (qui fait que c'est quand même un long Drama selon moi), l'histoire saute certaines étapes pour la relation entre les différents personnages et je trouve ça dommage. Certains moments et personnages auraient, selon moi, mérité d'être un peu mis un peu plus en avant aussi.

Ça reste pour moi une superbe histoire (étant fan de ce genre de scénario je ne sais pas si mon avis reste très objectif ahah) qui m'a fait bien rire et dont j'ai adoré la romance.

Pour ce qui est des acteurs je trouve que l'acteur qui joue On Dal (Lee Jong Huyn) est vraiment la personne qui m'a fait aimé cette série.

Pour ce qui est de la musique, elle est sympa mais ne m'a pas marqué au point de réécouter les OST une fois la série finie mais elles sont en accord avec le Drama.

En bref, pour ceux qui aiment le mélange romance historique avec beaucoup de comédie ce Drama est pour vous. Les premiers épisodes seront peut être un peu plus dur à regarder mais je trouve que ça vaut la peine de s'accrocher pour ensuite passé un bon moment en le visionnant !

I personally loved it at such short time it became my second favourite K-Drama as my first is Moon Lovers but I'm not here to discuss moon lovers,

I loved the acting and how the story line progressed well I found myself crying many times on this but then laughing. There are going to be characters you hate like in all Drama's You feel yourself understanding the protagonist more and more I also loved the way they brought people from the protagonists life into the past and made it seem like there life before like you know reincarnation and stuff.

I loved it even though it didn't make sense at the start very much it was a very interesting drama to watch cause they changed history in away *winks* not telling how tho cause that will ruin the story for those that haven't seen it yet.

Overall the characters the story everything was amazing the romance in this was also top notch I loved it! I'm pretty sure you will like it to and find yourself laughing at how the people act, Even if you don't particularly like historical drama's I'm pretty sure you will like this one! have fun watching <3

the acting in this was superb but the script was horrendous. this entire drama was filled with over the top cringeworthy humour and awful relationship development. i could barely get through an episode without gagging lol.

like everyone says, the main couple had great chemistry but that wasnt enough to get past their annoying relationship development. i actually liked them better before they got together.

and i’ll be honest while the acting was good, the only natural character in this drama was sam yong. everyone else seemed so awkward and out of place.

this story had potential but the story just wasnt executed well :/

if your in for a short RomCom series then try this.

the series is not that long so you can watch it within a day if your really interested on the series. well I really like how they manage to make this series very amusing on that part I will give 10/10 score, it will really makes you laugh but what I really don't like is how they made the action part of this series ( I mean how can a general goes for war with only few men and the acting scene was mediocre. ) they should have stick with the Romance and comedy hehehe. about the romance no question the acting is perfect and the chemistry between the leads is awesome! they really fight for their love in spite the odds and prevails in the end woah!!! nice!!

Not a dull moment. Very funny. Couldn't really take it seriously, everything was just so goofy. When I tried to take it seriously.......well i couldn't. I couldn't really feel for the characters or put myself in their shoes. You know a good drama if you can go alongside the characters and i couldn't. But hell comedy 10!!!.
Definitely lots of plot inconsistencies(What's up with the end?).
A lot of scene changes that could not really carry the audience along( I found myself crying for 3 seconds and then I started laughing as the scene changed)
Music always fitted the scene but not memorable.
You're good to go if you can overlook it and just watch it for fun!!

I just finished watching this drama and I LOVEd IT. The story may be a bit confusing bcuz like how can a van transport you to the era/history. But still... the plot is unique. Ep 19-20 is the hardest part bcuz of the ENDING. But, im happy that i t was a happy ending. I just wish there was more to it when they met again. Ykow more than kissing and...but omgod LEE jong HYUN is soo hotttt in this drama. His smirky face, jealousy and THE HOTTNESS. Im planning on watching EVERGREEN/the man OH song (ithnk) DAmn i just cant get over him????????????????♥️❤️♥️❤️????????????????:/9/15/19 2:02pn

This is for laughs, with a little love, sadness & distraction to mix it up a little

The ladies are beautiful, the guys are hot & they are all around humorous! I didn't come to this series expecting it to stick to the history, especially with the way it started out. This is a fun reprieve with lots of laughs & heart warming, if not almost scandalous haha moments with a dash sadness sprinkled throughout. And my goodness, the laugh of that spoiled brat Go Il Yong (Park Joo Hyung) oh so annoyingly funny! This is definitely a series that's fun to watch after we get past the female lead's obnoxious behavior with true growth on her part. Mu-Myung (Ahn Bo Hyun) is the cutest!!! So are On Dal (Lee Jong Hyun) & Sam-yong ( Lee Jae Jin)!
... I guess you can tell who I came to see :D

Mire este drama pues Netflix me lo recomendó luego de mirar Good Morning Call. Antes había mirado el trailer y no me llamo nada la atención pero como ahora estoy solo mirando Dramas le di una oportunidad... Y  estoy muy contenta de haberlo hecho. Los viajes en el tiempo son uno de mi géneros literarios favoritos, para mi  los viajes en el tiempo significan sufrimiento por una obvia situación: "La historia no puede ser cambiada"

Story: Desde el primer episodio me hizo reír, algo que no esperaba. Trate de investigar (por encima) los hechos reales pero encontré muy poco.  A mitad del drama me aburrió un episodio pero en los otros estuve totalmente expectante.

Cast: Por momentos me molestaban pero en general fue muy buena, todo el cast es destacable, las historias de los secundarios me mantuvieron muy atenta sin quitarle importancia a los protagonistas.

Music: No la recuerdo.

Espero que Netflix siga produciendo dramas.

TL;DR Everything about this drama sucks except for the romance

I'll start off with the positives: the chemistry between the leads is really good, and I think the romance part of this drama was handled very well. Their relationship was convincingly built up over time, and the leads had an interesting enough push and pull, flirty yet bickering dynamic that it didn't feel slow.

Unfortunately, that's where the positives of this drama ends.

Honestly this drama (or at least the first half of it, hopefully it gets better) is the perfect example of why the "show don't tell" rule is important.

The first nine episodes dedicate almost half of their runtime (which is extremely precious when your episodes are literally 30 min long) to introducing a character via narration. And somehow, even though it goes for that long, the information presented is both super meager and can be found out naturally by just watching the show and seeing the characters' actions and dialogue. If you do end up watching this drama, which I don't recommend, do yourself a favor and just read the Netflix episode descriptions and skip the narration bits because they literally present the same information; the only difference is that the netflix description takes like 5 seconds to read and the drama version takes half the episode. It was only marginally cute when they did it for On Dal because he's the lead, and it made it seem more like a folk tale. But no, they didn't stop there, and it carried on for nine episodes. And with every episode, it seems like I'm spending more and more time hearing about the life stories of characters I haven't seen before and who I don't care about. By the end, they were even introducing the van for 15 minutes and giving it a sad backstory. THE VAN. THEY GAVE THE INANIMATE VAN A SAD BACKSTORY. AND IT WASN'T EVEN A QUICK GAG IT LITERALLY TOOK HALF THE EPISODE.

Even apart from the narration, the characters repeat exposition info SO. MANY. TIMES. A character trait will be revealed about x character and every time that character appears, they'll bring up that character trait. The other characters will also bring up that trait every time they talk about that character.

For example, the side character Ilyong is egotistical. Every other line out of his mouth is comparing himself to a flower. When other characters talk about him, all they say is "Oh have you heard about Ilyong? He's so egotistical and always compares himself to a flower, it's so weird." Then the next scene he shows up and he's like "Wow I look like a flower." DO YOU SEE THE PROBLEM HERE

And then apart from that, everything else is just kind of meh.

The music is fine; I didn't dislike it or like it particularly, but it's forgettable. Rewatch value is an absolute 0 if you intend on watching the whole thing again bc I'm sure that the overly long narration would be even more painful when it's introducing info that you already know, and there are a lot of scenes that drag on way too long. But with *very* generous use of the skip button (aka literally skipping every scene that the leads aren't together in), rewatching the leads' dynamic would be enjoyable.
